Ladybugs Have Lots of Spots

Interesting choice of title really, as this was a circle book. It is eye catching as a title, but is not a book soley dedicated to Ladybugs and their spots. I rather liked that this book was all about circles, the illustrations are true to life pictures. Real photos depicting the circle shape. I loved how the pictures are vibrant and the text read as a rhythm-sing song poem. Not a bad book--a book where one can play "where's the circles?" and can hold a child's attention.

I think that the Title and book cover can really let a child down since most at age 0-3 years can hardly read and go by the illustrations on the cover.

I read this to the kids I nanny and they loved the story so much. They gave it their thumbs up approval of "silly"!
