This is definitely a picture book I would recommend for speech students because it has some fantastic pictures and illustrations and a plot with the perfect length. Because of these points, I have to give this a 5 out of 5 stars

The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose is a vibrant children book that’s due to its rhymes and vibrant colours is very engaging to read with younger children. My little one absolutely enjoyed this right before Easter and had fun pointing out all the colourful eggs the goose tried to protect.

From a parents perspective this is a fun read the only downside for me personally are that it looks like AI illustrations which I am not a fan of. I do understand these are cheaper but I prefer traditional illustrations. However my child enjoyed it. So 4.5 stars from us.

The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose by Lucas Light is an engagingly fun rhyming book that has vibrant illustrations with a great storyline. I really liked this and it made me laugh out loud at times.
My nephew really enjoyed this one and would like to say he'd give it all of the stars.

"The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose" by Lucas Light is a children's picture book about a goose who will do whatever she needs to do to protect her eggs. The text is done in a rhyming format that I sometimes had a problem with the cadence, but overall it was a fun story that makes you smile. Mother goose has a full nest of "Slinky Dinky Prinky" eggs. They sit on the ground in the sun, but one day a "teeny weeny meany sneak", a fox comes along and finds the eggs. He plans on stealing the eggs, but the mother goose sees him and comes to save her future babies. She squawks, and flaps and makes such a fuss, the fox slinks off. We talked about how the mother did what she needed to do to save her eggs. We enjoyed this story and the illustrations were cute, but my two oldest grandchildren had one issue. The eggs were often different in each illustration. They changed colour and there were different amounts. That really bothered my grandson, but I used it as a game to describe what was different each time with the younger two. This is a cute story, with simple text and cute illustrations with a nice message. We thought it was an okay story.

I enjoyed some of the illustrations, but some were quite scary. The illustration style varied from page to page and was distracting.

A goose has some eggs, a fox wants to eat the eggs, the goose scares the fox away, the end. This is a slight story for an easy read, which isn't that bad an idea, as we all love a quick bit of rhymed narrative. But I think we've got evidence of our new friend AI here – at least in the visuals. Nothing visually here makes sense. In the close-ups of the bird she changes appearance from one image to the next – the nostrils on the thing gave the game away at first. And then the eggs just cannot get close to resembling those in any other image, an early shot of the fox has him smothered in wispy white, ageing hair that is not evident ever again…

I had the strong impression that each page – they're all a single full-page image, with the text overlaid like a comic book – is the result of a single prompt, and the software (or user) didn't know how to keep the same characters, egg style or whatnot from one frame to the next. I may be wrong, and in the finish it's not a huge deal-maker here, but I don't think any polished illustrator would have those eggshells looking like that, and then like that, and then like this, in such a random fashion.

Actually it may be a touch more of a deal-maker than I thought, for the story is that slender, and the visuals had the potential of being great. And they're not great, as they are too obviously incohesive. For junior minds that won't care that much, this is three stars – for me it's got to be marked as lower.

I absolutely enjoyed this read. It follows the Oogly Boogly Googly Goose who faces off against a wolf to protect her offspring. It is well illustrated and a story of courage and a mother's love. Absolutely a wonderful read.

I recently had the pleasure of reading "The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose" a delightful children's book that captured my heart from the very first page.

The illustrations in the book are vivid and colorful, although occasionally unsettling. A book great for young children in kindergarten and pre-primary. Good use of cheery colours to make children excited and grab their attention.

We enjoyed reading this with the grandkids over Easter, the illustrations were bright and colourful and some even made the kids giggle. A nice quick read for the young ones.

This was a cute story. It is the perfect book for parents and children to read together during the springtime. I enjoyed the colorful illustrations. I would also say that the story was pretty easy to follow as well. I enjoyed this story and I think children will too.

This is a story about a Goose protecting her eggs from a fox. There really wasn’t much of a story here. I would have loved for there to be a message intertwined with the story, but ultimately, it was just a goose protecting her eggs. The rhymes were okay for the most part, but this just wasn’t very engaging.

The illustrations were vivid and bright, though a little creepy at times. They were also extremely inconsistent. The goose was depicted differently on almost every page, the fox’s eyes changed colors randomly, the nest was different, and the eggs changed color and pattern on every page.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley.

I was drawn to the cover of this, thinking it was going to be a beautifully illustrated, fun rhyming story. Sadly, though it was very bright and colourful and it did rhyme I wasn’t a fan. The illustrations seem AI generated, in fact I’m 99% sure they are due to the inconsistencies (everything is different on every page!) and there doesn’t really seem to be any sense to some of the words and rhymes used. It irritated me that the first letter of every word was capitalised and the font was difficult to read and not very child friendly!

My reaction to the eye-catching cover of the book was that it could be a cute Spring or Easter book for my grandchildren. I was given an advanced reader's copy by the author and publisher via NetGalley.
My favorite illustration inside of the book is the first picture of the fox. It's so cute. As with some of the other illustrations there are vibrant colors, pretty flowers and pleasing faces. There are a few that have such over blown eyes that they look creepy, especially the dizzy fox. I didn't expect that at all.
It's an okay book. I think my oldest grandchild would appreciate it but the youngest could be put off by a couple of the pictures. It seemed more pleasing to me when I read it out loud.

The first page, before the story started, has such incredibly gorgeous natural illustrations, I honestly thought I was in for a treat! But with almost every page, the illustration style and the way the animals looked, changed and I honestly didn’t enjoy reading this or looking at this, especially the scary goose illustrations. I would not recommend picking this one up at all.

The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose is an adorable picture book! The illustrations are gorgeous with vibrant and enticing expressions sure to make children laugh! I would highly recommend this cute story about a momma goose protecting her eggs from a fox!

Beautiful visuals and good rhyming scheme are the highlights of this book. The story and beautiful illustrations by Lucas Light makes you want to buy a hard copy of this book, and save it for your kids, whenever they are born.

The protective instincts of mama goose resonates with the mother in every woman. Did I like this story, yes. Will I read it every once in a while? Definitely yes.

I feel like I’m being punked.

Once I looked at other reader’s reviews I realized that I’m not alone.

I would never read this to young children, buy it for someone else as a gift for their child, recommend it to anyone, or recommend that this author write any more books.

The incorrect use of grammar, using capital letters at the beginning of each word, story doesn’t flow, illustrations are scary to children, etc !

I also think this was written in jest about something completely different if you read the words without looking at the illustrations.

I think this book was written with ChatGPT or AI.

I can’t say Thankyou to the publisher BooksGoSocial for this one and I believe NetGalley should pull it off of its shelves.
