I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Though I am not a golfer, I grew up watching Tiger Woods win on Sundays. He is and always will be the GOAT of golf, and I had hoped to learn more about his sort of comeback and how he's handled his new negative fame. I don't feel that I learned anything new from this book, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who already follows Tiger Woods.

I was fortunate to receive an ARC for "Drive: The Lasting Legacy of Tiger Woods" through NetGalley. Overall, I found the book to be captivating, despite not being deeply involved in golf. It provided valuable insights into Tiger Woods and the sport itself. However, I must admit that certain sections of the book felt repetitive, leading me to lose focus and drift off at times.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in exploring the lives of celebrities, athletes, or who simply enjoys golf.

Strong breakdown of the most recent decade of Tiger Woods' career--a thorough look at how Woods has used his most powerful weapon, his willpower, to triumph over medical setbacks that would have broken most other players. An insider's knowledge combined with an attention to detail throughout. Enjoyed it.

Everyone is always a bit surprised when I review a golf book. First off, I really like biographies and I enjoy sports, of all kinds. And my husband has always watched golf and we go to FedEx Golf Tournament every year. So, I am around this all the time. When this popped up, I jumped on it!

I have never seen Tiger play in person but I have watched him on TV since his career began. I love talent in all shapes and forms. And this man is full of talent. Not only is this book about his amazing genius on the course but it is about his drive to over come.

Reading about all his surgeries and his pain really took a toll on me. I cannot imagine having the strength this man has and overcoming all he has, to become one of the best golfers in the world.

The narrator, Adam Barr, could not have been better. He is very matter of fact and perfect for this audiobook.

Need a wonderful, well researched biography about one of the best talents in sports…THIS IS IT! Grab your copy today.

This is for serious golf fans only.
It 100% focuses entirely on his golf career and the set backs he experienced.
It walks through several of his more impactful tournaments/moments in his career and some of the records he has amassed over the years.
I enjoyed some of the bits here and would recommend it, but only to people who also enjoy watching and/or playing golf.
Much love to NetGalley & Macmillan Audio for my ALC.

This was a fascinating listen for me. As an avid Tiger fan, I've followed his career from the beginning (including juniors and college) This book revealed things that even the most loyal fans might not know about him and his habits. The author did a great job of balancing the personal with the professional. Readers get a glimpse into Tiger's psyche and how his drive to win affects every aspect of his life. It follows the ups and downs of his career and gives behind the scenes stories that you had to be there to witness. If you are a golf fan in general, this one is a must read.

I received an audio version of this book via the publisher for an unbiased review.

Thank you NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for the gifted copy!

I was curious to see what approach this book would take considering recent books/documentaries that have taken a deep dive into Tiger Woods' personal life and childhood. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that this book, instead, focuses more on where he is now; a man who both defies all odds and has had to accept his limits as a mere mortal after all. His unbelievable drive is what has allowed him to continue to surprise golf fans throughout his career, and the book leads up to his unbelievable 2019 win at the Master's. I enjoyed the comparisons between his earlier career and now; how he's traded being unbeatable and winning competition after competition for a more humble look at life and golf. I really enjoyed this one!

Amazing! Bob's book is a thorough examination of Tigers determination and grit throughout his career. He doesnt gloss over his failures or indiscretions but also doesnt use them to tear Tiger down for the sake of ratings. Its an honest in depth look into one of sports greatest athletes. If youre a fan of golf and especially Tiger, then its a must read.

Bob Harig does a great job of telling the amazing story of Tiger Wood’s incredible golf career. Tiger's drive to succeed personal issues, medical problems, accidents and injuries shows his perseverance. I really enjoyed this thrilling and insightful portrait of Tiger. Perfect read for the upcoming Masters season.

As a longtime golf fan, I highly recommend this book. Adam Barr does a great job narrating the book.

Thank you Macmillan audio and NetGalley for this advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

As someone who has a very basic knowledge of golf (and sports in general), this was still very digestible. This focuses on Tiger Wood's physical and mental challenges and the way they affected his golf game. I thought this was a really interesting way to analyze a sports career and a great way to differentiate this from other works on Woods. It was both awe-stricking and inspiring to hear about everything he's been through. Anyone interested in Woods, golf, sports, medicine, or inspirational stories will enjoy this.

The audiobook was clear and easy to follow, and the narrator did a great job.
