Thank you so much to Familius and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

What a perfect bedtime story. This was filled with humour, with the dinosaur being how a lot of kids are at night time, so this a perfect read to show them what’s it’s like, how tiring it can be and how important sleeping is, all through a fun, imaginative and funny story.

I really loved the illustrations within this book they were stunningly done and seeing the little kids looking more haggred and the dinosaur won’t stay in bed asleep and they had to keep putting him back was amazing and so funny.

It captured the essence of bedtime routines perfectly and though it’s a bedtime book for children, I think an awful lot of parents are going to find it hilarious and relatable. It is incredibly funny, it is beautiful to look at and has a dinosaur that refuses to go to sleep. So much fun, those poor little children having to care for it all night long.

This is honestly such a perfect, quick, easy, incredibly fun, imaginative and also somewhat realistic bed time read for families before bed. I really enjoyed reading this book, it was so well made and funny to read.

Honestly, this book was so adorable and cute! I just love that the kids were playing the role of parents and understood and are making kids understand, what it's like to be a parent.
I let my baby read this book with me and she loved it so much that she re-read it! Here's to kids growing and understanding more in life, thanks to these sort of books!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My kids (both under 5) gave it 5 stars. Reading it to them was quite endearing as I recognised some of the desperation in the eyes of the children wanting their dinosaur to go to sleep. It was quite fun going through the bedtime routine in the book as my own children recognised some of the processes. I'm looking forward to being able to buy a physical copy so my children can read this book to their toys

Vim. This book shows that it will take a lot of energy to take care of a dinosaur. Especially when it is time for bed. Vivid in color and story.

Thank you NetGalley for a review copy.

This was an adorable book, and I really enjoyed the switch of putting the children in the “parents” perspective and them having to get a dinosaur into bed.

The language was age appropriate, the art style was beautiful, and I think this would make a lovely edition in any parent’s home as a short bedtime read.

How to put a Dinosaur to Bed is a 16 page "board book".

The graphics are well done. The wording is age appropriate. It is a cute book, basically encouraging children (and dinosaurs) to have good bedtime routines.

My young nephew is 5 years old; I think that he has likely outgrown this type of book. I didn't realize it was a "board book" when i requested to review it (although it was completely my fault for missing that). I thought the cover was adorable (and it is! along with the rest of the book) and that my nephew would be home in a couple weeks.

Many thanks to NetGalley and publisher Familius for approving my request to review the Advance Read Copy in exchange for an honest review. Publication date is 02 April 2024.

My six year old gives this 5 stars and I agree with her. Very cute bedtime story - and I love how it is written from the child’s perspective of how to help their dinosaur to get bed. An adorable and creative way to help get kids thinking about getting ready for bed in a way that they are the ones in control.

This book reads like a handy guide for parents struggling to get their little ones to sleep, which I'm not sure is the purpose of this picture book. While it's a quick read, the story offers helpful tips for kids who resist bedtime. The stunning illustrations make the journey visually captivating. It's a perfect choice for families seeking a gentle nudge towards peaceful slumber.

We love dinosaurs in our house so this was a cute short read. It is just like our bedtime routine at home so it’s relatable and it’s a good reminder to the parent that routines are good and sometimes patients is needed. A really cute book.

What an adorable little book! I loved the illustrations and font choice. It mirrors parents trying to get their littles ones to bed by showing the little kids putting a dinosaur to bed. very cute!

Very short but sweet. Parallels to being a parent and putting your kids to bed. Nice illustrations including the tired looks on their faces

Thanks NetGalley for the early read! This is an adorable book about bedtime routines and dinosaurs. My 3 yo and 8yo both enjoyed it. We love books by this publisher. They’re always great for little readers and this was no exception. Highly recommend for any family!

I thought the story was adorable and educational. Kids may learn about the importance of bedtime routines. I can see kids enjoying this book. I did think the book was a bit short. I'm guessing that maybe it's short for the younger children to enjoy, without losing interest quickly.

Love Always, Catherine

I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was cute, with lovely illustrations.
I love stories with dinosaurs :)

The perfect book if you have a toddler that doesn’t want to sleep.

I grinned as I read this. Partly because it was cute, partly because it seemed as much a beacon for parents struggling to get their children to bed at a normal time as a cute story. The book is quite short and no adults appear but, well, the siblings in this story are playing parent/caretaker to a dinosaur. Yes, you read that right. A fun dinosaur. But, they're finding it tiring as it doesn't want to sleep when they're trying to sleep. Sound familiar to any parents out there? Grin. You'll get a chuckle out of the use of the dino's horn in a puppet show, sure, or how the clever siblings have a ladder handy to assist in efficiently giving it a bath, but the purpose of this book is really to remind those in charge of the necessity of routine, routine, routine.

As for the children, looking at a troublesome, not-at-all-sleepy charge from the vantage of being the ones in charge of not just it getting rest but them, too, might provide some welcome understanding of the importance of sleep. The basic steps are listed as part of the action (ie in a sibling's hand) as well as then illustrated step-by-step. Nothing surprising, of course, as we know setting a routine and keeping to it is important, but it also shows the need to be able to handle those hopefully occasional "but I don't want to go to bed" nights. All in all, a cute story that offers help, with well done illustrations. I mean, the dinosaur with its rubber ducky is just too cute. Thanks #NetGalley and #Familius for sharing this with me. I know the importance of keeping to a routine, so this is a nice reminder.

I received an ARC of this children's book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This children's book is very cute. The pictures are lovely and the text would amuse a toddler!

Super short book with a story about keeping the Dinosaur and kids in bed at bedtime. Rather than doing a bunch of activities that children like to do at bed time.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC.

A routine is a parent’s best friend when it comes to bedtime for little kids. This book attempts to show a popular evening routine using the children in the role of parents and a dinosaur. It is very short and while the description says “hilarious board book”, I found it pretty straightforward, sounding like a parent. The random capital and lowercase letters bothered me as an educator and I don’t understand the one page with a random fact about dinosaurs, but that’s a personal preference. The pictures are really beautiful. Overall, it’s cute bedtime story, but I think it missed the mark appealing to little kids.
