As always when it comes to books by Cassandra Robbins, this book was hot! There was such good enemies to lovers tension and angst. The audiobook performance was AMAZING. It really brought these characters to life. I love the dirty talk the Amo has, and I love the bratty side of the FMC. It paired so well together. I also loved that we got a little bit of suspense / mystery in the plot as well.

Absolutely loved this rockstar romance. What better way to blow up the sub genre than to feature not one, but two b@da$$ rockstars in one story. Courtney is the ultimate take no prisoners rocker chick on the outside but is still really vulnerable, which brings out a side that is super endearing and will have you wanting to protect her right along with Ammo. Speaking of…if you like your MMC over the top protective, Marshall (Ammo) is your man. Be sure you have way to cool yourself down while reading this one cause it gets pretty hot!! It’s also plot heavy and we get to see a reckoning that is a long time coming. The mystery/suspense aspect of the story keeps the pace fast and makes this one super easy to read because you won’t want to put it down.

As much as I loved this ebook, the audiobook elevated it exponentially!! Corvin King made Ammo come alive unlike any character I've listened to in a long time. The small inflections in his performance are everything. He truly acted this role to a level that was truly impressive, and I will be following him for a long time to come. Angelina Rocca is one of my favorite female narrators. She has such a beautiful voice, and I could listen to her talk about anything for hours...but give her a character like Courtney and it's the easiest thing in the world to get lost in her performance. Not only do both narrators bring their prospective main characters to life, but they did such an amazing job with all other side characters as well. I highly, highly recommend this story on audio.

This is a standalone romance that’s apart of a series. This book is connected to a multiverse that Ms Robbins has created.

THIS DAMN BOOK. THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE! OH EM GEE!!!! It had me in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of my feels.

Courtney Falcon is child star turned rockstar. After she finds her best friend pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby, she has had enough and decides to go solo. That’s when her manager decides to bring in Marshall “Ammo” Adams to produce her album. Of course the tension starts right off from the beginning. You can feel it in every line! This romance explodes and so does Courtney’s life. Ammo begins to uncover that those closest to her are not who they seem.

Angelina Rocca and Corvin King play out these characters absolutely perfectly. There truly are not two narrators who were better fit for these characters. I could listen to this book over and over.

That also says a lot for Cassandra’s writing. This woman can tell a story HOLY COW. She seriously pulled some feral reactions out of me throughout the whole book. I have hated some characters but not as much as I have hated the villain in this story.

It was all so well done!

<b>Whew, these two were HOT. </b>

Ammo was a rockstar, a womanizer, and pretty much an a**hole. He definitely didn’t like Courtney at first, believing her to be a spoiled brat. But he was also undeniable attracted to her.

These two were enemies but quickly turned to lovers. I mean, I didn’t even see them fall for each other. It was like one moment they hated each other, and the next, they were obsessed. I do wish there was more to them getting to know each other.

Anyway, I still really enjoyed this story. Courtney really went through a lot, considering she started a new career, fell in love, and went through betrayal more than once. But Ammo was there, and he did everything he could to help her and protect her.

This was a great enemies to lovers rockstar romance with a slight touch of suspense. It had angst, betrayal, drama, and spice.

This was my first Corvin King audiobook, and I was not disappointed. Angelina Rocca never disappoints. She brought out all the emotions of the rock princess, Courtney. And Corvin’s voice was perfectly matched for the rock god, Ammo. I didn’t exactly like Corvin’s “woman” voice, but I didn’t mind it either.

Okay I loved this book. It was sooooo good. That MOUTH on the MMC!!!! you guys. HOT HOT HOT! and I really liked the FMC too. She was realistic (well in the book world). I’m gonna go read more Cassandra Robbins now.

Also I can’t not say anything about the narrators. Wow!!! They both did amazing. Angelina’s voice is just like honey. And Corvin was sooooo freaking good.

He’s a guitar legend and now a well-known producer in the industry. When he is chosen to produce her new, single album, the sparks fly…and they aren’t all the good kind!

Theirs is a tumultuous relationship from the start! They agree on nothing, can barely stand one another, and are constantly at odds. Plus, there’s someone out there trying to ruin everything…for both of them. This story was compelling and hooks you immediately!!! The characters are well-defined and consistent in their behaviors. Though both are irritating, they are strangely likable!

This Audiobook was narrated by Corvin King and Angelina Rocca, who were both FANTASTIC!!! Great narration is the key to a superb Audiobook. These two nailed it!!! They ‘got’ the characters, their motivations, and desires. Outstanding performances!!

It was such a fun book. Made me giddy with feelings of legendary love strewn all over. A feel good book with two people who are nothing like lovers, poles apart, but with intense chemistry....oooh-la-la, it's stuff that makes you BELIEVE in love

Unfortunately, this was just an alright read for me. Both Courtney and Ammo weren't the most likable characters, with Courtney coming off as a spoiled drama queen and Ammo coming off as a jerk, a-hole, and man-whore.. just a walking red flag. They both hate each other but have a lot of sex, although Courtney claimed to be uninterested in having sex with a man who sleeps around and has STDs..
There's sex, but no romance building, and Courtney was a little too dramatic for my liking. Unfortunately, this one didn't stand out to me.

I think I may have found my new favorite narration duo and book series! Corvin King and Angelina Rocca narrate this very spicy book and did the most amazing performance I've heard in years. They narrate the story of Reign, book two of Cassandra Robbins's Rock God series. Courtney and Ace's love story is brought to life and the audio performance will give you shivers of the very best kind!

The chills were electrifying.

The mesmerizing story of Ammo and Courtney completely captured my imagination. Brimming with intense emotions and excitement, this novel is an absolute page-turner. The instant Ammo softly murmurs, "Will you serenade me, my love?" is truly enchanting, evoking a sensation of warmth and delight.

Reign by Cassandra Robbins is book two in the Rock God series. I did not read book one, but did not feel that I missed anything.

I enjoyed the storyline - Courtney is a former child actress turned musician who was recently wronged by her best friend and ex-boyfriend. Her plan to go solo requires the assistance of a stellar producer. Enter the "rock god" Marshall 'Ammo' Adams. The two start off like oil and water, but that clashing turns into explosive chemistry in the studio and the bedroom.

In the midst of the romance storyline, there is a bit of suspense and drama thrown in.

The tension these two have toward each other is palpable. They take h@te sėx to another level and I was here for it.🥵

I didn’t feel like he fell so unrealistically fast, but when he knew it was like she was all he could see, could care about, could focus on. 😍

The twist with her stalker was exactly what I was hoping for. If you’ve read any other of Cassandra books you’ll understand me when characters for previous books show up!

Reign is the second book in the Rock God series, but it can be read as a standalone. I did not expect to like this as much as I did. I generally am not drawn to stories with rock stars as the main characters, but this story was really good. This is an emotional rock star romance I didn't know I needed in my life.

After yet another scandal involving her band comes to light, Courtney Falcon decides to go solo. Marshall “Ammo” Adams, a famous rock star in his own right, is brought in to produce Courtney's solo album. They don't know each other personally and make judgments based on information released by the media. They start on the wrong foot when they meet, but something pulls them towards each other. There is so much tension between them. This story is definitely not a slow burn, and it got spicy quickly.

I loved this story and loved Ammo and Court together. The plot is perfect, and this book has made me want to read more rockstar romance stories. This is the perfect enemies to lovers, age gap, and angsty romance. The story is well-written, there is great character development, and the author added some suspense, passion, danger, and drama. Reign has it all, and I will absolutely be reading more books by Cassandra Robbins.

NARRATION:
Corvin King and Angelina Rocca did a fantastic job. Their performances were amazing, and they really brought the characters to life. Their voices allowed me to feel the connection and the chemistry between Ammo and Courtney. I could listen to Corvin King read anything! This was the perfect narrator duo, and I don't think anyone else could have portrayed Ammo and Courtney like they did.

Court goes solo and ends up with Ammo as her producer however their first encounter doesn’t go well. They go from disliking each other and her considering him a walking STD to lovers never mind she remembers it was unprotected. I think what grated on my nerves in this the most was her blindness to the people around her. She was way too trusting with people that were clearly not deserving.
Audio review male narrator was new to me but I have to say I loved Corvin King. Angelina did a good job the pair were spot on narrators although the story itself had its moments where I was not happy with the direction was going it enjoyed the narrators

Okay this was unexpected lol. I’m not sure why I was expected a more vanilla slow burn ( I haven’t read/listened to the others ). I was wrong! This was NOT a slow burn and was soooo hot. The narration was great! I normally am not a fan of dual narration but they did a really good job. I circled my block a few times to put off getting home just to listen to more lol.

This was amazing!! I loved Ammo and Courtney! At first I was thinking there’s no way I will like this guy.m, he’s a total tool. WRONG! This was all the spice and enemies to lovers. His protectiveness with her stalker was top tier. The narrators were FANTASTIC!

I realized this was a second book in a series to I went back and listened to book one, Rise, though I feel this book can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed the second book The tension and spice were written perfectly with a great plot! The narrators were good and paired nicely with the story.

Holly cow! This book had me absolutely hooked from beginning to end! I did not want it to end. The spice was delicious and some of those scenes will be stuck in my head for a long time. This had everything that you want in a book it had an amazing plot, great world building, character development, sizzling chemistry, love and even a little suspense in there. It kept me on my toes. Ammo was someone that I would think I would hate but I loved him. He did not care what others thought of him he lived his life the way he wanted to. He never took his life for granted. Once he met Courtney though his life took on a different meaning. I loved that he didn’t really fight it either. Once he realized that he wanted her he went after it. He was beyond possessive but he adored her. He saw past the diva rock princess. Couldn’t get enough of these two and this world! This was a first for me by this author and I already went and bought another of her books to listen to.
The audio made this book 10 times better! Corvin King and Angelina Rocca brought these characters to life. They were both phenomenal! That was a first for me by Corvin King and I can’t believe I haven’t heard him before! I will be going in and looking up other books read by him. He brought so much emotion to Ammo. I love Angelina Rocca and can never get enough of her voice. She always bring her characters to life and makes you feel everything that they are feeling.
