Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala is a close proximity Christmas holiday romantic book it's very cute it's very Christmassy it's very sentimental very Hallmark movie type of book it was a cute read it was a good time.

Sharon Sala is one of my favorite authors and her stories never fail to capture my attention from start to finish and this one is no exception. When Trey is rescued by a mysterious angel, the only clue he has to find her is a missing shoe. Hailey and Trey finally find each other, and the connection is there instantly. I love these characters and the way they come together. This is one Christmas story you won’t want to miss!

Snowy Mountain Christmas is bestselling author Sharon Sala’s latest novel, a Christmas-themed standalone romantic suspense. It utilizes a Cinderella trope and contains multiple references to angelic guidance.
Trey Austin is a bestselling mystery author who lives anonymously because he writes under the pseudonym Chapel Hill. While on a research trip in Arkansas, he gets caught in a storm and is involved in an accident. His vehicle lands upside down in a ditch and he is rendered unconscious. A small female passerby spots his vehicle and bravely rescues him, losing a red shoe in the mud. When emergency responders arrive, they dismiss her without even getting her name.
27-year-old Marley/Ladybug/Bug Corbett runs her family’s lodge outside Colorado Springs since her parents’ deaths four years earlier. Family friends Jack and Wanda Wallace help her out and have become surrogate parents. Marley loves cooking and spends two weeks in Arkansas collecting recipes while the lodge undergoes renovations. When she starts home during a torrential storm, she feels guidance from an angel to take a particular road and then sees a wrecked vehicle. She rescues a handsome unconscious man and then calls 911. After she returns home, she is sexually harassed by a former school classmate, Jared Beckett.
As Trey recovers at his home in Phoenix, he writes about his accident and the mysterious angelic rescuer. His posts on social media become viral and are then shared on the national news. Eventually he receives an email from Marley and decides to travel to Colorado to meet her in person. They get snowed in and quickly fall in love. However Marley is in danger from Jared, who wants to end her life because she rejected him. Trey has to reveal his alter ego and deal with emotional childhood trauma from neglectful parents.
Sharon Sala’s stories are based on her dreams, and her descriptive writing style makes it easy for the reader/listener to visualize the action. She consistently writes strong, engaging characters who readers would want to know in real life. Her characters may have had some bad luck, but they are courageous and hardworking. Snowy Mountain Christmas is not only about romantic love; it also shows how families can be created by love between friends. The reader feels the love between Marley and the Wallaces, and Trey and his agent, Meredith Bernstein. In all of this author’s books, the villains get what they deserve. Snowy Mountain Christmas contains a sweet Christmas romance between unforgettable characters. I couldn’t put this story down; it deserves more than 5 stars!
I received an advance review copy (ARC) of the ebook from NetGalley and SourceBooks-Casablanca for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a cute wholesome story, but I didn’t care for the writing style. The POV would switch but the author would still be thinking as both characters. I found the female main character to be very cheesy.

I enjoyed reading Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala. You will fall in love with all the characters. I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely. Happy Reading!

Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala is a sweet, heartwarming, inspiring, beautiful and sweet romance that grabbed me on page one and didn’t let go until I turned the last page.
Trey Austin was driving through a torrential rain storm on a country road when lightning flashes, nearly hitting the car, while trying to avoid the strike, he ends up flipping the car and falling into a ditch where the water is rising rapidly. Marley Corbett was on a trip to the Ozark hills of Arkansas, while the B&B she owns in Colorado is being remodeled, when her Angels told her to take a different road. Marley has learned never to question these voices and this time she was in time to rescue a man who had been in an auto accident. Trey had no idea what had happened, but the voice of an Angel told him he was going to be okay, and that help was on the way. While in the hospital, he learns that she left before anyone got her name, leaving behind a single red shoe. Trey goes public, pleading with anyone that might have information on who his savior was; creating a nationwide search for his Cinderella.
Marley was so busy reopening her Colorado lodge after renovations that she wasn't paying attention to the internet, television or the news. When she finally sees the story and contacts Trey, he drops everything to head to Colorado and his Angel. The attraction is instant and when they get snowed in, the seeds of true love are planted and grow. Unfortunately not everyone is happy that these two loners are getting together which leads to a climactic ending that had me cheering for strong women everywhere.
Ms. Sala wrote another wonderful story with strong characters, quirky supporting characters, and a story that gave me all the feels. There is a spiritual twist with Marley and her angels which makes it all the more Christmassy. It is a sweet romance that is soft on spiciness, but with a bit of suspense, and action which I highly recommend for those looking for a quick and sweet romance; especially one with a little holiday spirit.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala
Contemporary holiday romance.
Trey Austin is driving through a torrential rain storm on a country road when lightning flashes, nearly hitting the car. Avoiding the strike, he ends up flipping the car and falling into a ditch where the water is rising rapidly. He’s saved by a woman that cuts him from his seat belt and is somehow able to drag him out of the car and ditch to higher ground where she’s able to call for help. Trey doesn’t get her name at the time, but he’s given one of her shoes that she lost in his rescue. Trey goes public, pleading with anyone that might have information on who his savior was.
Hailey Beaumont owns a bed and breakfast in Colorado that is being remodeled and updated before opening again. She reaches out to Trey when she sees his messages to confirm it was her on the side of the road and he immediately travels to the inn to meet her. There is a snowstorm on the way and Trey arrives in time to spend the holiday with Hailey where they fall in love.
🎧 I alternated between an ebook and an audiobook which is narrated by Tyler Darby. The performance is easy to listen to and engaging at the same time. The tension of an emergency is heard and felt as well as the joy of spending the holiday season with loved ones. There were specific voices for Trey and Hailey as well as the handyman neighbor and others. The holiday warmth comes through clearly making the audiobook my preferred method of reading for this story.
I did speed up the playback to 1.5 which more closely matches my reading and conversation speed.
Slightly spiritual in that she hears the voices of angels.
Warm and comforting holiday story. He’s a loner but with her, he feels complete. A beautiful and sweet romance.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley. This author is an auto buy for me.

Marley is driving in the rain when the angels tell her she needs to go a different way. She stumbles upon Trey who has been in a motor vehicle accident and she stays with him until emergency services arrive. Trey is desperate to find the angel who saved him. A sweet romance with a little festive feel perfect for curling up in front of the fire. The suspenseful plot had me eagerly turning the pages!

Wow this took me by surprise in such a good way. It delivered everything I want from a Christmas book and more. It was like a cosy blanket in front of a crackling winter fire with a sprinkling of suspense too.
Trey Austin is saved from a car crash by a mystery woman. He’s whisked off to hospital, the only clue is one of her shoes left behind at the scene.
He’s desperate to find her and thank her, he goes to social media with a “Cinderella” search. Weeks go by, Marley finally sees it and reaches out to Trey, the following morning he’s in his way to her cozy bed and breakfast lodge in the snowy mountains.
I absolutely loved Marley’s passion for those she cares for, it was about time she found someone to do the same for her and in steps Trey. I won’t give anymore away as I don’t want to spoil the story, just curl up with a cosy blanket and a hot chocolate and enjoy.
Thank you NetGalley, Sharon Sala and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

Snowy Mountain Christmas reads like a stand-alone book unless sequel comes. By Sharon Sala I can’t help but hope one does come after this wonderful read. Hailey Beaumont finds herself saving a car wreck victim, Trey Austin which forever changes both of their lives. I loved this story of creating family while removing yourself from toxic relationships, seeing how unconditional love is life-changing as well as giving a character a must needed sense of belonging.
This is a love story but told as only Sharon Sala can do. A cross between Debbie Macomber and Carolyn Brown, this author tells a wonderful story that is sweet but with sass without the characters becoming snarky. That describes a US Southern Mountain woman to a T which Hailey surely is. The story to read this holiday season.

Loved reading this book. New author for me. I really enjoyed this book. Especially christmas themed books.. I suggest reading this book.

Contemporary Romance
Colorado – Present Day
Trey Austin is driving through a torrential rainstorm in Arkansas when a lightning bolt startles him and he runs his car off the road into a creek. A good Samaritan, Marley Corbett, is driving in the same storm when the Angels who appear in her vision from time to time tell her to take a fork in the road. She discovers an unconscious Trey and precariously rescues him from a potential drowning. Once the medics and police arrive, Marley takes off, but she doesn’t realize she left one of her shoes behind. When Trey wakes up in the hospital, he faintly remembers the woman who rescued him, and he is determined to find her. But the authorities do not have a clue who she is but give him the missing shoe. So Trey embarks on a nationwide search for his Cinderella.
Christmas is fast approaching, and the Bed and Breakfast Marley owns is temporarily closed for business. She sees Trey’s appeal for the woman's identity—her—and contacts him. Marley invites Trey to spend the holidays with her and they can become acquainted. Turns out there is a bit of an attraction going on between them and it only intensifies after he arrives. At what point, though, will Trey tell Marley his huge secret? He is the bestselling mystery author Chapel Hill and has chosen to hide his identity. And what happens when the holidays are over? Could he stay with Marley and pursue their burgeoning romance?
SNOWY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS is one of those books that are full of endearing people and feel-good things. Marley has inherited the family bed & breakfast and runs it as efficiently as her late parents had done. While the location might be remote, she loves the area, as well as the people who have embraced her as if they were her family. Well, except for one local guy, who continues to harass her. The arrival of Trey has her excited and she plans to give him the full Christmas experience that anyone could expect at the inn. The moment they meet again—in better circumstances—they click, first as friends, then finally acknowledging there is an attraction brewing. They spend time together and talk. Marley is a hard worker, and Trey isn’t afraid to help her out.
Readers will enjoy the nice camaraderie going on between Marley and Trey. He gets to know the people around her that care for her and he fits in well. Meanwhile, he has a couple of other things going on. His parents belatedly find out about the accident and contact him. He has never had a good relationship with his wealthy parents, and he isn’t interested in listening to their excuses. Trey also hears from his editor that Hollywood wants to buy all of his books to turn into movies. The catch: he has to reveal his true identity. How will Marley feel when she learns she is falling in love with the man who is her favorite author? Will all this sudden publicity put a strain on their newfound relationship?
I truly enjoyed reading SNOWY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS and falling in love with Trey and Marley. Their story is the perfect holiday romance that leaves one warm and content. For this, I am giving it one of Romance Reviews Today’s Perfect 10’s. I encourage you to pick this up because you will fall in love with this tale just as I did.

When a woman finds a man in a car accident, she does what anyone would have done. She saved him. But what she remembers from that night is her lost shoe.
This story takes on a Cinderella type story, but with a few twists and turns from the author to try to take the story on different angle from other characters.
I am giving an honest review of this story.

With a nod to Cinderella, Trey Ausitn drives in to a ditch during a thunder storm. He is rescued by a woman who doesn’t leave her name when help arrives. But she leaves behind a shoe in the mud. He starts an online search for her and she she responds he wants to meet and thank her. Hailey Beaumont, felt led to Trey by the angel, which are voices she’s heard all her life. She is happy with her life owning a bed and breakfast on land owned by her family for generations. She invites Trey to come stay at her place and meet her.
The story is sweet, loving and closed door. He is charmed by the care she gives to those who live around her. I think the only think that felt off to me is how instantly they fall and start using the love word. There is more to Trey’s background but I’ll leave it to the reader to discover. I like that Hailey is spunky and speaks her mind. The voices are not explained or religious just a gift. This is the first time I’ve read the author who has written many book. I enjoyed this as a heartwarming Christmas romance. (3.5 Stars)

A sweet feel good romance. A modern take on the Cinderella story, with guardian angels not fairies. Trey is famous and rich, but a loner and keeps his identity a secret. When he is in a terrible car accident on a deserted backroad, he is saved by a woman but knows nothing about her. The deputy did give him his only clue, a red shoe. So he comes out of his private world and hits the social media looking for his Cinderella.
Hailey, also known as “Bug”, always heard angels speak to her. So when she gets the message to go left she does. And just in time as there before her is an overturned car and water in the ditch rapidly rising. She manages to get him out and call 911. Once he was in safe hands, she just disappears.
Love the setting and that one should determine their own life. A bit corny in parts but a sweet Christmas read. Thank you #NetGalley for this ARC. All opinions are my own. #SnowyMountainChristmas

An easy going Christmas story that doesn’t require too much thought. Pure fantasy, but a bit too sickly sweet for my taste. Nevertheless a decent book.

A sweet and charming Christmas romance. While I normally prefer my romance on the spicy side, there is something to be said for a sweeter romance. The story was very quick paced and kept me entertained. I felt invested in the characters and found myself grinning while reading.

Loved this story. Trey was traveling home to Phoenix and runs into a storm and has an accident making his vehicle turnover, along comes Marley who had the angels leading her to go the same he did and she gets him out of the vehicle and saves his life. The police go to the hospital and tell him they found her shoe. He takes it home with him. He puts a notice on social media trying to find his Cinderella with the red shoe who saved him. After several weeks Marley sends him an e-mail that it is her shoe. she gives him directions to the lodge and he goes to meet her. Their whole life changes. THIS IS A GREAT READ. A MUST READ, See how things go between them and what happens

3.5⭐️ Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an advanced copy of Snowy Mountain Christmas.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read and review my first novel by this author.
Admittedly, I am in the minority of the reviews that have come out so far. For me, the novel didn’t quite meet the expectations I had set out for it based on the summary. It is my hope that readers do not base their views on just my opinion, but take many of the other reviews into account as well!
This novel moves very quick (and reads quick!) and for me, detailed storytelling and building is something I enjoy. Because it moved so quick, I didn’t feel like I got to know any of the characters beyond the surface level and the plot lines came so fast.
The story isn’t bad by any means. It’s just not my cup of tea but it wouldn’t stop me from reading another novel by this author.
