I absolutely adore Nordic noir so excitedly picked up this book not realising it's the third in a series. This was probably the downfall for me, because there were so many threads, so many characters and so many backstories that I found myself floundering trying to keep track of it all. However, I really enjoyed the premise of the story and the complex characters, so I will start with the first book in the series and then revisit this one once I know who is who and what is what. I'm excited to have found this author even though delving into the middle of a series did not quite work out for me.
