Everything about this story was okay, nothing stood out. The romance felt a little flat. I never quite saw the connection between Lizzie and Thomas. I really didn't think they'd be a good match, so I never became invested in their relationship. Everything was sweet and nice, but I think that the romance would have benefited with a little bit of spice between Lizzie and Thomas. I guess I really don't enjoy the fade-to-black scenes anymore. I did like that the author decided to go with a Latina woman as the lead character in the story, but I didn't really enjoy how Lizzie's family was represented, which ultimately diminished my enjoyment of the story.

Apparently I don't love books with celebrity characters. I also didn't feel like the British-isms were correct, and it kind of threw me. For example, a Manchester accent isn't what one would call "refined". The British people don't sound British either. Meh. The discrepancies threw me, and I didn't enjoy this one.
