Another great story from Anna Bradley. Phee is on her way to becoming a spinster. She just has one more friend to help matchmake. Alot of ups and downs along the way and one irritating man. She gets her happily ever after that's just right for her.

This newest romance from this series is a winner in my book. Filled with characters that are well written, and a romance plot that makes you want to have your tea, and blanket so you can just snuggle into the story.
This latest one is for the final sister in the Earl series; and an Earl of the ton that is the elder brother of one of our protagonist’s friends. Euphemia Templeton is considered a matchmaker, but her skills are not truly appreciated by said Earl (or the ton) as Phee’s friend Harriett navigates the season looking for her perfect match. Though Harriett is already in love, Phee must help convince James, Harriett’s brother the Earl, to accept the man she has chosen, especially since James considered him a buffoon and not worthy of his sister. James has a different match in mind; one Harriett is not happy to wed. To convince the Earl that his choice is not viable, and Harriett’s is the one, Phee decides it is the Earl that needs to be matched, but with Harriett’s love, not a woman. She figures he will fall in love with him if he can just get to know him. But, in the process, Phee begins to get close to James, and she herself is reluctantly caught up in the season, and her own whirlwind of emotions.
This is an excellent romance. Just enough titillation to entice, but not distract from the story. The characters are ones you want to get to know better, and become friends with as you turn the page. It is a good beach read, or one to read by the cozy fire.
As the listing shows, this is the 5th book in the series, but each book is a stand alone. You can read the others, and I highly recommend that you do, but it is not necessary. This story has strength on its own. Reading the others would give you touch points for the other sisters mentioned, but you will not be lost.
I recommend this book for fans of this author as well as romance readers. It is worth the read.

Another fun and exciting romance story. I love the not so heavy drama among the two families. The most entertaining part of the story is when the two main characters first meet and it’s almost instantly love, except for these two, they have known of each other. I really loved the humor of the story. The writing is awesome. The story is great.

I enjoyed this book. I thought Phee was a great character and I really loved her. As for James, well sometimes I liked him and sometimes I did not. In the end though he did manage to steal into my heart. These two are just the type of very sparky and bickering couple that easily kept me engaged and entertained.

Phee is the oldest of five Templeton sisters who have lived under a scandal caused by their mother. She is the last of them who remains unmarried. She has agreed to help Lady Harriet Fairmont. James, Earl of Fairmont, has two problems with his sister’s attitude towards making a match. She doesn’t want anything to his choice of suitor, and she has brought in Euphemia Templeton to assist her with the season. Phee and James butted heads from the moment he arrived. Even as they spar, they become attracted to each other. The chemistry between them sparks. James and Phee are likable characters. He is a caring, protective brother. He becomes the same for Phee when he sees how the ton treats her. Phee is smart, courageous in the face of scandal, and caring. James’s Aunt Fosberry, Harriet, and Gilly (Harriet’s favored suitor) are delightfully entertaining. This is an enjoyable romance and a wonderful ending for the series. The epilogue brings the sisters and their families together in the ultimate happy ending.
I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and voluntarily reviewed it.

Here comes My Earl is the last of the Templeton sisters series. The eldest sister, Euphemia, who considers herself a spinster at the age of 24, comes to London to help her friend Lady Fosberry make a match for her niece, Harriet. Harriet's brother, James, the earl of Fairmont, is convinced he has found the perfect man for his sister. James resents Phee's being in town to serve as matchmaker for Harriet, especially given the last attempt didn't turn out so well. Phee and James have a dislike for each other until they actually start spending time with each other. An attraction between them grows despite their wishes and once they allow themselves to actually get to know each other, they are hopelessly connected. James finds himself assisting Phee get more comfortably being herself amongst the ton as opposed to her usual desire to fade into the woodworks during ton events. It was a wonderful way to end the series seeing Phee find love after she gave up so much of herself while assisting her younger siblings as they matured into adulthood and found a love of their own.

The last of the Templeton sisters has her story. Phee has a tough time of it in London for this season. She's promised to come long & help her friend Harriett find a good man to marry; there had been a small issue last season & Harriett is going to need friends. Phee comes in handy in a couple of ways the first being that she's going to take the heat and interest off poor Harriett. The Templetons mother had run off with her married lover and Phee showing up brought it to the surface again. Phee also has the misfortune to have 4 sisters who have all married Earls or stolen eligible Earls off the marriage market. All this is in her mind each time she leaves the house as she tries to blend into the furniture to protect herself. I truly felt sorry for her, 6 years hiding in the country is hard to shake off. Harriett's stuffy older brother James takes his feelings of pity and flips them into love. I like that his POV is front and center, so we understand how conflicted, scared, confused, and in love he is. James is good at putting his foot in his mouth & insulting Phee unintentionally & it pains him to do so. Their HEA moment is one of the sweetest moments and he proves his worth in the end. Sorry to see the sisters stories over but glad they all have nice HEA's. Oh, and Harriett has a lovely HEA of her own.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun, sweet and held my interest. I wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen. I enjoyed this book and will look for more books by this author.

Finally, Phee gets her turn!
I have loved all the books in this series, and I think the author saved the best for last! Phee is the eldest of the five Templeton sisters, plagued by scandal not of their own making but the society gossips don't care about that. I loved how Phee held her head high and didn't let those Mean Girls get to her.
James is the elder brother of Phee's friend, Harriett. He's determined to arrange a suitable marriage for his sister, while Phee is equally determined to make sure Harriett is free to marry for love. I really loved the way Phee directed James to help things along with the gentleman Harriett has her eye on, rather than continuing in his obstructionist ways. In helping him to see Harriett more clearly, James also began to understand Phee much better. I really enjoyed this angle to their budding relationship.
Of course we still have Lady Fosberry along for the ride, quite literally in the opening scene, and as an older woman myself I appreciated her role in the storyline. The epilogue was delightful, wrapping everything up for the entire series nicely. If you enjoy sweet historical romances with a little bit of steam, I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Oh my god this book guys! It was everything I needed — incredibly sweet, kind and light story that is like a warm hug from a friend ❤️ Once I started, I couldn’t stop reading.
Phee and James are NOT friends. In fact, after a fiasco that was Phee trying to find a match for James’ sister, Phee thinks he’s an arrogant a$$, and James sees her as a meek mouse who likes to meddle in his business. He practically orders her to leave London, but she gives him such a scolding that it makes him realise maybe this mouse is not a mouse at all. James is intrigued by Phee, and from there on he tries to coax her out of her shell, falling for her in the process. Phee has her reasons for hiding, but she accepts James’ challenges, because he is the only one who looks at her and truly sees her.
Their banter was so delightful, I never wanted it to end! I wouldn’t mind if there was more of the book 😅
I fell in love with James, who is a true gentleman, and while he is presented as stubborn and prejudiced in the beginning, he is never cruel or unreasonable. The side plot with his sister’s beloved is another reason I loved this book so much — not only is it cute, but it shows James’ character and his growth throughout the story.
There is conflict, but in general the book is low angst. It was a delightful surprise for me. The only other book I’ve read from Anna was a dark-ish gothic kind of romance with murders and betrayal — which I loved. This is a different kind of romance, and it’s perfect in its own cozy way. And now I don’t know which one is my favourite 😅😅
It’s a slow burn, but since the book is short you’ll get there fast enough. And meanwhile you’ll squeal at the delicious banter and sweet moments between all characters! This is the last book in the series, so there are 4 books that I’m yet to read, and I couldn’t be more excited. If they’re anything like this one I’ll inhale them in one week 🥰🥰

I enjoyed this charming enemies to lovers story with very likeable characters, witty banter and a bit of steam between them.
Although part of a series, the book can be read as standalone.
Euphemia „Phee“ Templeton has been a social outcast since her mother ran off with her lover. For years she looked after her younger sisters, who have all since married, and tried to become invisible to the ton who gossiped about her and laughed at her.
When her friend Harriet returns to society for another season after her own scandal the year before, Phee, now considered a spinster, is determined to stand by her side, especially when Harriet's arrogant brother James, the Earl of Fairmont, tries to match her with his unsuitable friend and Harriet is in love with someone else....
An entertaining book for anyone who loves historical enemies to lovers romance novels!

Euphemia "Phee" Templeton is the last of THE Templetons to still be unwed. Phee is perfectly happy to never wed and live her life in the country since she does not like the life in London. When Lady Fosberry asks for Phee's help to find a suitable man for her niece, Harriett "Hattie" Fairmont, she reluctantly agrees. When Phee finds out that Hattie's brother, James, the Earl of Fairmont is also coming into town, she is not happy. James has a certain Lord in mind for his sister, but it seems Hattie is already in love with someone else....Cecil "Gilly" Herbert, the Viscount Gilbert. James also doesn't like all the meddling that Phee is doing and these two start arguing every time they turn around. Before these to realize it, they are both starting to become attracted to the other. When Phee lays into James regarding his attitude, James becomes even more intrigued by her and decides he wants her for himself. He actually sees through her attempt to be hidden from everyone and decides he wants to bring her up front and center. While the two of them are spending more time together, the sparks start to fly. When James doesn't let Phee know his true feelings, she ends up leaving London, unbeknownst to him. Now he will need to a lot of grovelling, including convincing the other men in her family that she is the one for him. In the end, these two get their perfect happy ever after.
I just adored competitive historical romance. I loved Phee. She was such a strong female who didn't take any crap from anyone. I loved how she put James into his place a time or two. I also loved watching James fall so hard to Phee. This was a very entertaining story with fun characters.

Here comes my earl is the fifth and last book in the Games Earls Play series and can be read as a standalone. I had such a great time with this one. The book opens on a bang with a certain carriage incident and it’s a slow burn from there on. James and Euphemia have known each other for a while and there has been some history with these two. Euphemia is known as a matchmaker, but the matchmaking went horribly wrong concerning James’s sister. Euphemia swore never to do it again and James wants her nowhere near his sister. The carriage incident makes James see Euphemia in a different light and from there on out he is slowly peeling back all the layers and walls that Euphemia has put up over the years, trying to survive the scandal involving her mother.
The secondary romance involving Harriet (James’ sister) is also so incredibly sweet and made me say ‘awwww’ multiple times. In the scene where James gets the courage to go to Gilly and actually help him after he got scolded by Phee you can feel all of his anxiety throughout, and the uncomfortable standoff between the two gentlemen gave me some secondhand embarrassment.
There were so many scenes that made me feel all the feels and had me swooning all throughout this story. Most importantly the first ball where Phee actually is brave enough to put on a gorgeous ballgown and thus putting herself in the spotlight. Then the dancing lesson, the dancing lesson! Don’t mind me, I think I just swooned again.
The chemistry between these 2 mc’s was simply amazing. This was my first book by Anna and I am very excited to read more of her work in the future.

The best in the series...
This is the strongest book in this series.
Phee is a fighter and a matchmaker. Her plan is to help her friend get hitched then its off to the countryside for her.
James is her friends' brother, who has picked out his sister's husband for her (what an idiot). He thinks he knows everything and really knows nothing. He's arrogant and a know it all. But he does want his sister to be happy,
These two are the Bickerson's.

Euphemia Templeton can’t wait to put the London season behind her forever, but before she can retire to the country in blessed obscurity, she has one final promise to keep. She must find a proper match for Lady Harriett Fairmont, who is embarking on her second season. Matchmaking is easy for a lady with Phee’s skills, but when Harriett’s elder brother James, the arrogant, infuriating, and far too handsome Earl of Fairmont accompanies his sister to London, she soon has cause to regret her promise.
The fifth book in the series & another well written entertaining romance. I really liked both James & Phee, the chemistry between them just got hotter & hotter, enemies to lovers is my favourite trope & this book didn’t disappoint, as they lock horns at every meeting but they also grow to actually see each other. There’s also the added bonus of a secondary romance. A captivating romance
My review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Euphemia plans to retire from the London season after finding a suitable match for Lady Harriett. But Harriett’s arrogant and attractive brother, James, distrusts matchmaking. He clashes with Phee at every opportunity. Will their battle of wills become a battle of hearts?
What a fun book! James and Phee are a great couple, helping each other grow. I also enjoyed the relationship between Harriet and Gilbert.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Here Comes My Earl is the fifth book in Games Earl’s Play series.
Miss Euphemia [Phee] Templeton is the last of the sisters to be married. After all the abuse the ton has put the older sisters through, she us determined to escape London. But first she has to keep a promise to her friend Lady Harriet Fairmont and help her find a match. Harriet has already found her match, but her overprotective brother has his own choice for her. These two strong willed people will butt heads to make sure their choice wins Harriet's hand. but they find that they have more in common than either of them is willing to admit.
This was a fun and entertaining story. The characters were easy to like, and the plot was entertaining as it unfolded.

After last season’s near scandal, James, Earl of Fairmont, has forbidden Euphemia Templeton, the eldest of the scandalous earl-stealing Templeton sisters and a matchmaker, from interfering any longer in finding his sister Harriett a husband. He himself has found her the perfect husband anyway. He can’t even figure out why she bothered to return to the city after last year’s debacle. For all he knows she’s nothing but a meddlesome drab grey mouse, albeit one with a temper, a spark and a secret talent for scolding him.
Lord Fairmont is a master at raising Phee’s hackles. Civil he may be, a gentleman he most certainly is not. Aloof, arrogant and aggravating are much better suited, and he doesn’t have a clue about who would make his sister happy. He’s made it very clear she’s not to help his siter anymore, and that’s perfectly fine. After all, she’s there at his aunt’s invitation, and even an earl is allowed to be wrong.
Sweet, light and lovely, this is a witty close proximity, enemies to lovers romance with some rather intimate waltzing lessons.
She considers herself a confirmed spinster, and I don’t believe he ever considered a wife, let alone love. He does, however, want what’s best for his sister. Phee and James butt heads over just about anything - quick wit and sarcastic banter galore - but when it matters most, he’s there for her.
She's not the least bit cowered by him, and most extraordinary on closer acquaintance… it makes him wonder how he could ever deny her anything - even training his sister’s beau, the one he doesn’t approve of. She’s so used to fighting for everyone else, his chivalry charms her completely by surprise. They peel back each other’s layers, and I really enjoyed Phee’s more vulnerable side, and how he handled her feelings with great care and tenderness. And yes, he’s a bit slow and insensitive at times, but he does catch on… eventually.
James’ aunt is gold, and the romance between Harriett and Gilly on the side makes for a great diversion. This is a fun and relaxing read I could easily recommend to everyone!

Phee and James have one person in common Harriett. Phee is trying to help Harriett win her brothers approval for her chosen beau and James is trying to get Harriett to marry another person.
Slowly and steadily, Phee works on James to see that Harrietts beau actually loves her. But somewhere in the process of convincing James, Phee starts to develop feelings for James.
I loved how the connection between the h and H developed slowly and deeply.
A good fast read

Nice story. Effie has missed out on romance, though it looks like her sisters have done well. This book is part of a series (could be the last?) . I've also read book 3. James finds Effie frustrating. Her methods of match making haven't necessarily had the best outcomes especially for James's sister Harriet. James decides to find Harriet a husband but his choice is very bad. The aunt says Harriet has already found someone but they realise that James isn't going to go for this option. It's at this point that Effie realises she needs to matchmake not for Harriet or even for herself but for getting Gilly (Harriet's would be beau) a proper mentor aka James.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
