I always like to check out the Minotaur Samplers to get an idea about upcoming titles. This one had a great selection of some of the titles on my TBR (Alex Finlay, Catherine Mack, and Anna Downes), and some new-to-me authors. This is such a great way to take a no-risk peek at upcoming reads for the season!

I always enjoy the FREE Minotaur samplers. They are a great way to make a decision about forthcoming books to read or to add to a wish list. This time there are titles by Anna Downes; Alex Finlay; Kimi Cunningham Grant; Catherine Mack; Delia Pitts; Sarah Stewart Taylor. See the covers, find out what a book is about, read a generous sample and learn about the author. What could be better?

I am especially excited about Sarah Stewart Taylor’s new novel. I enjoyed her recent books set in Ireland and hope that this new series will be just as good. That said, many of these new titles look intriguing.

Always fun to sample some mysteries to see which are the most appealing. For my taste, If Something Happens To Me, The Nature of Disappearing, and Red River Road showed the most promise in terms of location, style, and/or plot.

I always love getting the newest Minotaur sampler! It's such a great way to figure out what books I should read next. Agony Hill and Red River Road especially piqued my interest and weren't on my radar.

Easy to navigate between books, the excerpts and chapters give you a brief but enticing view into these upcoming novels. It’s just enough of a preview to spark your interest. Not only can you find new genres or authors but also getting this preview helps prevent requesting books you won’t enjoy. I’m a fan of St. Martin’s Press & Minotaur Books so choosing this sampler was a no-brainer for me. I had been eying a couple of these titles previously and being able to read these excerpts helped make my decisions on upcoming reads. Thanks for providing this!
