This was a great conclusion the War of the Dragon series, it had everything that I was hoping for from the fantasy element. The characters worked with the story being told and enjoyed the dragon element. I’m excited to read more from Dave Smeds as I enjoyed the concept overall.

This was a very good beginning into what I think will turn out to be a great trilogy. I flew through this book as it was rather addictive. An engaging plot and interesting characters. Maybe a but tropey, but I don't always think that is a bad thing. Long term fans of the fantasy genre will find plenty to like here as I have:)
