‘Pirates of the Timestream’ by Michael J. Martinez is part of a series of time-travel adventures starring Jason Thanou.

Jason Thanou thinks he is about to take some well deserved time off, and then he gets a call from the Temporal Regulatory Authority. The Transhumanist underground has been spotted in the seventeenth century and Jason must pull a group together who can pose as pirates and crew with the famed Henry Morgan. New secrets and dangers are revealed, and new allies join the fight.

It’s a good adventure but suffers from pacing at times. The characters and world are interesting and I liked it.
