Leah loved Raymond for years and now he is marrying someone else. To get over her loss, she goes with her best friend, Miguel, to visit parents in a town where they grew up. Miquel has loved Leah since grade school but knows she still loves Raymond. Miguel and his father do not have a good relationship and I enjoyed watching the two of them gain a better understanding. Leah hopes to enjoy a great time with her dad only to find out there is a young woman living with him. Miguel hopes by having Leah along with him he can finally tell her how much she means to him. There are a lot of surprises along the way as Miguel and Leah spend time together and Leah discovers things she never knew about her parents. Great characters and story.

This is the 3rd book that I have read by author Dalia Dupris and I must say that I have enjoyed them. Miguel is an ex-Marine turned fitness trainer. Leah and Miguel are best friends and have for some time now. Leah’s ex-boyfriend is getting married, she is devastated, having a hard time dealing with it and she still has feelings for him. Miguel Leah’s best friend steps in and he is there for her. Miguel has always had feelings for Leah and he has grown tired of keeping his feelings at bay. Miguel invites Leah on a trip to visit their hometown and this is his opportunity for him to let Leah know about his feelings and intentions towards her.

How will Leah feel when she learns of Miguel’s feelings and intensions for her, will she open up to him and the two have the HEA that they both desire and deserve?

Loved reading the mesmerizing and engaging romance story. When Leah's ex-boyfriend gets married, Leah is devastated, but Miguel helps her through her sorrow. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting love story. Can't wait to read another story by the phenomenal author, Dalia Dupris!

I enjoy this book. It’s fun and a quick read. There is enough variation in the plot to make it interesting and relaxing read making you hope these two will finally get to be togethr.

Romantic rollercoaster - she's still pining for her now married ex, he's pining for her but they have always been friends - he's persistent and patient, she's stubborn and doesn't listen - and off they go. A good read for the weekend or vacation.
