Since a teen, I have been a HUGE victoria holt fan - and this book was actually one of my favorites, so I was so, so, so excited to obtain an ARC of its digital reprint. I think this is one of her stronger stories, with a fierce, independent heroine that clashes with the hero in a delightful way! Set in the outback, it has a great mystery and romance that has me returning to it again and again!
