Valerie and Andrew are dueling kindergartener teachers who grow closer together after an unexpected pregnancy. I enjoy an unexpected pregnancy trope and I was glad that the book's cover marketed it that way so that I could find it. This was a cute and quick read and I enjoyed the romance the more I read it. The first steamy scene could have used a little more spice/connection between the characters. Overall, a fun read!

THIS WAS SO CUTE. I loved the unexpected pregnancy and felt it really added a great twist to this. I loved their relationship so much!

This was really cute! Valerie was an interesting character… Andrew fell a little flat for me in the beginning, but of course he grew on me. It’s an enemies to lovers story with the twist of an unexpected pregnancy. I loved watching their real feelings quietly unfold with the pregnancy. The writing style was funny and clever, and only got overtly cheesy at the end, which is pretty good. It’s more like a 3.5 for me, rounded up. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the e-arc.

Dueling kindergarten teachers Valerie and Andrew are opposites. She is quirky and free-spirited, he is buttoned up and strict. Of course, this only makes the spice spicier when they get together one night after a party. But surprise! Their actions have consequences and we get to see how they deal with the fall-out.

This book was a cute and different enemies-to-lovers tale. It’s fun that they work in a school, although as someone who does work in a school, I hate to tell the author that there is NOT a national spelling bee for kindergartners. At least not one I’ve ever heard of…and having a spelling bee (even for gifted kinders) is not usually a thing, so that sort of fell flat for me. Their love story is cute and gradual and throwing a baby in the mix was fun. It was a quick read and a fun romance.
