I eagerly dove into this Sword and Sorcery tale of Ninjas vs Zombies, expecting an thrilling adventure. Unfortunately, the book failed to live up to its incredible premise.

The storytelling relied heavily on convenient coincidences, making it difficult to suspend disbelief. The author's excessive use of exposition resulted in a narrative that felt self-indulgent and lacking in subtlety.

The damsel-in-distress trope was overly relied upon, feeling outdated and demeaning. While some unexpected twists kept the story from being a complete disappointment (earning it 3 stars), the predictable ending undermined even those redeeming moments.

In good conscience, I can only recommend this book for those seeking a unique concept to pass the time. Otherwise, it falls short of its potential."

Or a more concise version:

"This Ninja-vs-Zombie tale had immense potential, but poor execution made it a disappointment. Convenient coincidences, excessive exposition, and outdated tropes marred the story. Some unexpected twists saved it from being a total waste, but the predictable ending fell flat. Only recommended for its unique concept.
