This is a perfect book for Halloween with littles. Scaredy Squirrel is such a fun series to read and this did not disappoint. I look forward to buying the entire series for my little girl. Just look at him in his vampire costume on the cover. Too cute.

Melanie Watt has done it again! I thoroughly enjoyed this book! There were many laugh out loud moments!

Once again, Scaredy Squirrel reminds us that it is okay to enjoy some fun moments, even if they are a little scary!

Thank you to NetGalley and Kids Can Press for the opportunity to read and review this book!

The best thing about Scaredy Squirrel is how his fears help kids identify their own. He's sort of like the Junie B. Jones of the animal world. He makes it so easy to see how he is wrong. Every single one of the series has been popular and I hope they remain popular.

The Scaredy Squirrel books are visually stimulating books that center around a cute little rodent that is anxious about everything. Melanie Watt's illustrations are adorable, and this version has great pictures of all things Halloween: costumes, candy, monsters, and a haunted mansion. It was fun to look at, but overwhelming as a read-aloud due to the amount of content on each page.

I read this to the kids I nanny and they loved the story so much. They gave it their thumbs up approval of "silly"!

More of a safety guide than a Halloween story. The pictures are ever so sweet and the colours used are bright, perfect for children. Surprised to see it didn't show or instruct an adult to carve the pumpkin as it uses a knife.
Overall, it is a cute book that kids should enjoy.
