I enjoyed this story so much, but kept wanting more. It’s pretty slow burn which I enjoyed, but when it ended my first thought was “that’s it?” It was a very long audiobook, and I wasn’t ever fully satisfied by the story. There were small glimpses of super sweet romance, but I needed more! However, the rest of the story definitely held my interest. I enjoyed all of the side characters and family members, along with the small town feel to the story.

The way that the main couple is brought back together after the conflict/separation seemed kind of random. It felt like it was just thrown in at the end as a way to get them back together.
