Christmas romances are so easy to love, but "Sleigh Bells in the Snow" is truly a holiday delight. I loved getting to know Kayla, Jackson, and his family, and was living for the slow burn of this romance!

I am cleaning up my NetGalley shelves and realized I had never shared my thoughts on this book - my sincere apologies as I read this back in 2013. This book was delightful - I remember loving it to pieces and is what first made me a fan of this author. I'm about due for a reread of it this Christmas. So good!

Kayla is not a fan of Christmas. Yes, it’s true, there are people who don’t enjoy the holidays and this poor soul is one of them. Kayla is a driven woman in her work and Christmas is nothing but a distraction, as well as a reminder of all she doesn’t have outside of work. So, when she is offered the opportunity to spend the holidays at a lodge as part of a business deal with one of her clients she is all over that. At least she was, until she was hit smack in the face with the fact that she was landing in the middle of a huge family get together and she was finding herself attracted to the client, Jackson.
The story has humor, heartache, plenty of family conflict, and love. This is a great romance that sucks the reader in and makes you stay up to finish the story. Not that I would know that personally or anything. <*yawn*> Having enjoyed this book I am hesitant to admit that it is my first Sarah Morgan story but it definitely will not be the last.
