I find it interesting that the title of this colection refers to "adventures". This may be a collection of fine novels, but the writer takes forever, and I do mean forever, to engage the reader in the these adventure (read "plot"). I'm fond of the espionage genre, but found the evolution of the stories in this collection to be tedious and with little reward. I finally put the book down, and did not pick it up again.
