Feather Light is a decent read, but I did not feel it lived up to its potential. The story feels like it keeps skipping a few steps rather than a slow build, like it is getting ahead of itself. Both the main characters grew as people, but we did not really get to see this as it was happening; Instead those months were bypassed and the changes were merely mentioned later. I would have preferred to have seen this unfold as it is an integral part of the main characters getting their happily ever after.

The novel has what it takes to be good, but in my opinion was not yet there. I do know an ARC could have further changes, and I do hope that happened. Based on the version I read, I would like to see author Lorenz Font do a rewrite to correct inconsistencies and fill in the plot holes before re-releasing the novel.

Trouble getting into the book and connecting with the characters. Couldn't get engaged with the story.
