A marvellous book on the human body, organs and organ systems. Very detailed but also lighthearted sections, with helpful pictures and labelled illustrations. Really engaging and will provide endless information to any reader young or old.

Both of my daughters are really interested in anatomy & physiology. This book was a big hit with them! The illustrations were fantastic! The facts were simple enough to understand yet it wasn’t “dumbed down” like some children’s books. My only complaint is that you chose to say a doctor & nurse help people with asthma when a Respiratory Therapist is the one taking care of a patient with breathing problems a majority of the time. Overall, this was a very informative & engaging book about the human body. I’d recommend this book to others with inquisitive children.

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher, & the author for voluntarily letting me read this book and give an honest review.

Complete with a magnifying glass to expand the scope of this tour of the systems of the human body, this is a fun book of answers to many of the questions one might have. As a retired nurse and mother of a slew of growing people and relative to many with questions they'd rather read instead of asking, I HIGHLY recommend it!
The illustrations by Damien Weighill are fun, simple, brilliantly colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading alone or WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school, church library, health care office, or your local public library!
I requested and received a free temporary EARC on Adobe Digital Editions from Quarto Publishing Group – Wide Eyed Editions via NetGalley. Thank you!

I’m 28, why did this book teach ME things? The illustrations absolutely kick ass. They’re fantastic, kid friendly, easy to understand and 100% fact based. This is not a dumbed down version of an anatomy book speaking down at kids like they’re idiots. It respects their questions and curiosity. Fantastic.

This book has such a fun concept with a pop out magnifying glass that can be used to find little hidden pictures within the illustrations - a little like Where's Wally but teaching information in a novel way. Information given was clear and the illustrations themselves are detailed and fun.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

I liked this book, but I think it’s best for kids who already have some basic knowledge of body systems before they read it. The tiny people amongst the diagrams makes the page really busy, so it makes it tricky to get the real visual of a human body. I am excited to show my 6 year olds as they do love science

Very informative book about the human body with cute illustrations to keep kid engaged. This book explains the main parts of our body and their purpose while showing illustrations of what each part does.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the Advance Readers Copy.

This is a delightfully presented delve into the human body. Perfect for children to get excited about. The art work matches the text, coming together to encourage wonder at the human body’s systems. Each has a couple of pages, with an overview of function, and then facts to explain in greater depth how it functions. Well presented. A book that has been well thought out. This should be in all children’s bookshelves, and would be perfect for school and public libraries. Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group - Wide Eyed Editions and NetGalley for the ARC. I liked this, with my children aged 4 and 2 in mind. Biology matters. Thanks for advance copy from NetGalley and publisher.

Take a journey through the human body with your trusty magnifying class. Within this book you’ll discover so many facts about the human body.

The way the information is portrayed makes it accessible to younger children. This would be a fun and interesting way to introduce your child to the human body.

I think it would be best to read this one with your child, at least for the first read through as I’m sure they’ll have tonnes of questions.

Super informational but also had great and fun illustrations. Reminded me a lot of the magic school bus show.
