This was a interesting concept for a story, I thought it was interesting to go from the concentration camp to an empire. The characters felt like they belonged in this story and felt like real people. I thought George Mallory wrote this well and glad I got to read this.

A lot of unlikeable characters and plot lines were jumpy. May have been more the editing than the writing. Thank you Netgalley for this ARC.
