Bella is in Chicago with her son Max for her former mother-in-law’s wedding. While leaving, she sees her husband Sam, but it can’t be…he’s dead. After they return to Lily Dale, home to spiritualism, more odd things happen. Bella is feeling at home there, even though she has no special abilities and Max is happy. Change is in the air and is this Sam she sees a spirit or is he real?
The town of Lily Dale is full of wonderfully quirky characters who form a close community. Bella is a strong woman, coming to terms with the death of her husband and learning to live again. I enjoy this series and the mystery with an unexpected twist.

Good Explanations..?
The sixth outing in the Lily Dale Mystery series and there are strange happenings in Lily Dale which lead Bella to conclude that good explanations simply cannot be found. The normally logical and science based Bella is stumped. She does know that she needs to get to the bottom of it all. Another enjoyable instalment to this series with a likeable protagonist, a deftly drawn cast and a well imagined, delightful setting.

This is the 6th installment to the Lily Dale Mystery’s. I was unaware this was part of a series when I started so I was thrown off from the beginning because I haven’t read them.
I did find it hard to follow until it got to what this book was actually about which is Bella Jordan is returning home from her mother in laws wedding when she spots her deceased husband in a nearby car. But how can that be? Where has he been and why did he make her think he had died?
If you’ve followed this series then you’ll enjoy this. If you haven’t I’d suggest starting from the beginning to follow the happenings better.
