This was interesting -- and incredibly timely -- because it consists of interviews with real people who explain their background and history so you can understand their political views. Right now, politics in the US is very us vs them, and we need to stop calling names and start working together again.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Let’s Put Humanity Back Into Politics is a timely exploration of the deeply personal experiences that shape our political beliefs. Through candid conversations with a diverse range of individuals, the author sheds light on the human side of politics, encouraging readers to empathize with those whose perspectives may differ from their own. As someone who often finds themselves frustrated by the polarization in today's political landscape, I appreciated the author's emphasis on fostering understanding and connection rather than further division. This book serves as a reminder that behind every political opinion lies a unique story, and by listening with an open heart, we can begin to bridge the gaps that divide us.
