A Limited Edition Murder
Book 10 in the Beyond The Page Mystery series
by Lauren Elliott

Publisher’s Summary
While in England, a first edition of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights leads bookstore owner Addie Greyborne to a murder on the moors . . .

Although enjoying her extended stay working at Second Chance Books and Bindery in West Yorkshire, Addie still feels adrift—far from home, her friends, and her own beloved bookstore, Beyond the Page Books and Curios. The engagement party of her dear friend, Tony, at Milton Manor promises to be a joyful distraction. But there’s an ill wind blowing at the estate: When Tony presents his fiancé with a special copy of Wuthering Heights as an engagement gift, the lord of the manor insists the book was stolen from his library . . .

Things go from troubling to tragic when Addie takes her Yorkipoo, Pippi, out for a walk on the moors and stumbles across the body of a young woman. When the police suspect Tony of foul play, Addie vows to get to the bottom of what’s going on. But it’s a twisted, treacherous path to the truth and Addie will need to watch her every step . . .

My Thoughts
For A Limited Edition Murder, Addie Greyborne is living in England. Moving her to England adds new characters and new settings to the series. When the book starts, Addie has been in England for a year. She’s planning on returning home to Massachusetts after the engagement party of her good friend, Tony. She’s having mixed emotions about leaving England. She has a job she enjoys, and she’s made solid friendships she isn’t sure she’s ready to leave. It's a conflict that carries throughout the book—does she stay in England or return to Massachusetts?

One thing that is the same. Even in England, Addie finds herself caught up in a murder. She discovers a body on the moors, and she recognizes the woman from Tony’s engagement party from the night before. The investigation brings her into contact with Detective Inspector Noah Parker, former London Metropolitan Police detective. Sparks of irritation fly as they try to solve the murder.

I loved this book. I’ve read all the books in the series, and A Limited Edition Murder is the best book yet. The new British characters are well-written. The mystery is complicated and kept me guessing. A cold case is thrown into the mix, further complicating the story. And the ending! I’m already eager to read the next book in the series.

5/5 stars.

I love this series and had been anxiously awaiting book ten. Book nine left me wanting more as the end had Addie leaving for England. This book picks up with her there and starts to answer my many questions. I viewed this as reboot time for Addie (see book nine as to why) and loved every minute of it.

The location is great being a village in England. New characters to enjoy and locations to visit. There was much to love. We also got updates on the characters we know back home, which I appreciated.

There are several mysteries to be worked out and I did not know who the bad guy was until very near the end when the pieces fell into place. (I got that wording idea from the book ). I loved that it kept me guessing and was so well written.

Fans will love this book. If new to the series, I really suggest you start at the beginning to fully appreciate it or at the very least read a synopsis of each one.

And now I go back to waiting...hurry up book 11! I need more answers!

Addie Greyborne has extended her stay in England and enjoys working at Second Chance Books and Bindery in Moorscrag. Although she misses home, she has made some great friends amongst the locals. She's looking forward to the engagement party for her friend, Tony, and his fiancée, Hailey. But things go sideways when the special edition of "Wuthering Heights" just may be a stolen copy. And things get worse when Addie and Pippi find the body of a woman who's a murder victim. Addie begins investigating when Tony and Hailey become suspects and she soon finds a connection to something that happened years ago.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest, unbiased, and voluntary review. I love Lauren Elliott's books and this series is one of my favorites with each book being an automatic, can't-miss read. This book is well-written with wonderful characters and a spectacular setting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and completely embraced Addie's life in England. I was totally hooked by this captivating story from beginning to end. The mystery is simply intriguing and will keep you on your toes with its twists and turns and red herrings. The one bad thing is that I hated for the book to end because I never want them to end, but that leaves me incredibly eager for the next book and I can't wait to see if Addie actually leaves this England village where she has flourished so well. I have to say that I would love for her to stay.

I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend both book and series.

I received this book as an ARC with no expections of a positive review. I loved this story with Addie Greyborne being in England. She went to England to have some time to deal with all the truths that were uncovered in the last book. Her two week stay has extended into a year. She is working part time in a small book shop and bindery called Second Chance Books. Her friend Tony and Hailey are announcing their engagement at a small party. Tony has found a first edition book of Wuthering Heights. He had the bindery restored to give to Hailey at the party. At the party everything is turned upside down. How is Addie going to leave when everything is a mess with an unknown dead woman, stolen books and so much more. This book had me guessing until the end. Ms. Elliott gave us another wonderful story that brought us right into the English countryside.

A fun cozy mystery set in the English Countryside, with old books and romance and a cute dog. What more can you ask for? Trying to find out who the mystery woman found dead is and why there was a pattern from a previous death, all leads the reader on a interesting ride of a plot. Would recommend.

Lauren Elliott did it again, hit this one out of the park. Love the setting in England and the intro of new character and her old friends coving for a view. There were twist and turns guess until the end. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley for my honesty review.

I hate to mention anything negative in a review but I must say that I have a problem with part of every book that Lauren Elliott writes ... the ending comes too soon! This latest edition in the Beyond the Page Bookstore series is no exception to that rule. Addie Greybourne is busy working at the bookstore ... but not her bookstore in Greybourne Harbor, Massachusetts ... she is working at Second Chance Books and Bindery in Moorscrag, England where she has been living for the past year since her surprise at the altar a year prior. While she misses her home, bookshop, and dear friends, Serena and Paige, she just hasn't been ready to make the move back home, and she has enjoyed time with her old friend, author Tony Radcliff, and has become very good friends with some of the locals. Just as Addie decides that she and Pippi are going to head home to Greybourne Harbor she comes across a woman on the moors ... and, since this is a murder mystery book, you can surmise that the woman "is no more" to use a bit of British (think Monty Python!) parlance. Since someone Addie cares about is suspected of the crime, she decides she must stay and try to help figure out who committed the crime. The murder brings back memories of a similar murder in the past that remains unsolved for someone else dear to Addie, so soon she is looking for who may have killed twice or two separate murderers. As is typical, the local police, or constabulary as the case may be, are none too eager to have her help and make their feelings known, much to Addie's growing frustration. But, she hangs in there and susses out whodunit. You definitely want to get this book to find out what's new with Addie, get to know her new friends, find out what is happening with her old friends back home, find out what awaits her next, and watch her solve the crimes. Lauren Elliott does not disappoint with this "limited edition" mystery other than not making it twice as long for all of us to enjoy longer! I am already eagerly anticipating the next book in the series!

Addie is a first edition from heartbreak in England when a copy of Wuthering Heights first edition goes missing, followed by a piece of antique jewelry and murder. Scheduled to fly home within the week, she is anxious to solve the murder (or is it murders) and clear her friends. Although I missed her normal crew of sleuths, it is fun to meet Addie's new friends, who hopefully will make future appearances.

This is the book that fans of Addie needed after the tumultuous events in Book #9. It is both refreshing and exciting. Lauren Elliott's gift for world building and character development shine.  I immediately felt at home with these characters, in this setting, and just want the opportunity to become better acquainted with everyone and everything in this English village where Addie seems to flourish.  The mysteries (yes, plural) are intriguing and complex and beg for a murder board.

I did not want to leave.

Fans of the Beyond the Page Bookstore mystery series will not want to miss this latest adventure.

As Addie Greybone again plans her return home to Maine after a year in Moorscrag, England nursing the hurts of a former engagement, her friend Hillary is accused of a murder Addie knows she did not commit. She jumps in to find the clues to help the local police find the actual culprit, solving not just this murder, but one from 20 years in the past.
Addie has spent the last year working in a local bookshop and creating a wonderful new group of friends and struggles with leaving them, but knows her home is in Greybone Harbor, Maine where best friend Serena may be about to announce she is pregnant.
This entry in the series is filled with lots of red herrings and great suspects keeping the reader guessing until almost the end and even then, there is a twist!
As Addie leaves England, I have the feeling she will make a return, either for regular visits or who knows, perhaps as a new resident of Moorscrag.

Addie's temporary move to England has been restorative but hardly uneventful. She's enjoying her time working for Reginald Pressman, of course, at the Second Chance Books and Bindery shop in West Yorkshire. She's made friends and is feeling comfortable there. Yet, she's also fretting about her decision to return home and her own bookshop, Beyond the Page Books. That hasn't been an easy decision for her. She's a bit of a mother hen type and can't help worrying about Jasper's hopeless crush on Hillary, who is set to marry Addie's successful author friend Tony soon. Then there's a growing worry about Reginald's health and finances. Are his rare book buying sprees putting him in financial trouble? There's also the worry hanging over her that while she thinks she's recovered from the shock of discovering only moments before she said "I do" to Simon that he had a child and then felt responsible for trying to help the mother and maybe make a life with her for the child. Addie flew off to England to mend her broken heart and sort out where she was going from there.

But, sometimes you can't shake ol' habits. Like stumbling over dead bodies. That's when her planned return to the States takes a backseat to her best laid plans. Toss in the little matter of the valuable necklace that has gone missing and a stolen book and, well, it gets complicated. And, that's just the modern day mystery. She's also caught up in trying to help Reginald Pressman find out what happened to his much loved daughter Molly so many years ago. And, whoa, there's a missing necklace involved there, too? And, double whoa, more missing books, lives upended, and family secrets buried deep. Lauren Elliott is a master at creating characters who we’ll like and find realistic and empathize with. Hearts broken and maybe mended, emotional moments, and friendships, new and old. It's all there, plus, hmm, a very intriguing potential romance....but, Addie's plan is to return home. Isn't it? Maybe....

Bottom line, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've enjoyed Addie from the beginning and while I thought I'd have trouble embracing her life in England, I felt just as at home with her new surroundings and friends as back home. Now, true, the brief visit by Serena and Paige helped but, hey, Noah Parker was far more interesting. Grin. That's all the hints I'm giving. You won't regret reading this book, not to mention the entire series. I'm psyched to find out where Addie goes, both physically and emotionally, from here. She's had a rough road in the past but, hmm, her like-a-brother love for Marc may have met its romantic British match, so to speak. Thanks #NetGalley and #KensingtonPublishing - -#KensingtonCozies for giving me an early peek at Addie's current world and letting me meet all her new friends. What can I say? I'm a sucker for cozies set in England, especially when books and more books are involved.

Addie Greyborne has been in England for a year. She keeps putting off her return trip to the states. Her author friend Tony is having an engagement party at the manor. Tony is giving his fiancee a first edition of Wuthering Heights as an engagement gift. She accidentally spills champagne on a party guest. Who is she later finds dead on the moors while walking Pippi. She meets the new detective inspector Parker who is handsome and annoying. He thinks Addie had something to do with the death of the party guest.

This mystery was so good. I had no idea whodunnit. I loved following the clues with Addie and I kept wondering how it was all going to tie together. The author does a fantastic job tying cold cases with current cases. I really wonder what's going to happen next. I just love this series.

After her disastrous near wedding to Simon, Addie fled to England. Now a year later, Addie finds herself at the center of a murder mystery involving family secrets and heirlooms. At times, Addie was a bit obnoxious, seemingly forgetting that she was in another country and subject to their laws. The series seems to be winding down, but I look forward to Addie’s next adventure.

#ALimitedEditionMurder #NetGalley is an exciting addition to the fun series by Lauren Elliott.
Addie is worried about returning to the states after finding out her friend Marc is getting married.
Addie loves Marc, but in a brotherly way, as he's the brother of her best friend, Serena. Addie lost her love, Simon, when he reunited with the mother of his child, and Addie jumped at the chance to spend time in England.
Things turn bad fast when a murder is linked to a stolen necklace and a stolen book. Truths are revealed and I was stunned when I found out whodunit.
This is a great book, I enjoyed the story and I'm excited to see what's in store for Addie and her friends in the next book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of the book.

It’s England where moors are plenty. It is a perfect place for a crime to occur. Addie will have her hands full with a case and feeling of homesick. Discover of a body will have her on edge as she will have to thread careful so that she will not be the next victim. It is a charming whodunit mystery.
