Great read. A bit of tearjerker due to the tragic events in the ER as well as humorous. The characters are lovable, and there was a bit of angst at the end as the pressure as their wedding date came closer.

The story begins with ER doctor Alexandra Hartway proposing to her partner of the last four years, Jess Bolderson. I am new to the couple but this appears to be a sequel to At All Costs (Jan 2017). I very seldom get to read stories where a lead uses a wheelchair. I like the mentions of adjustments needed in day to day living and in their physical relationship. I think I was expecting something more than the difficulties of getting caught up in planning a wedding and it took a while for me to understand their personalities and how they reacted differently to the same situations. And there is more but a lot of the story focuses on day to day living. I enjoyed the story but I would have liked it more if I was invested more in their relationship by having read the first book and getting the story of their coming together. I will still round up for having unusual representation and bringing in current events into the storyline. (3.5 Stars)

its the second book in this series and i bet the first one was brilliantly written as the two main characters are very much that characters in their own right

Dr. Alexandra Hartway is a doctor in a very busy ER and Jess Bolderson is very much her own person and also in a wheelchair and you can guess where they met...i gather their first meeting wasnt good from what i have read but they are very much a couple in this book

a very loved up couple who when alex proposes they decide on an autumnal wedding and thats where things start to go wrong..... who knew a cake would cause so much anguish but its alex family that causes her heartache.....

but its the tragic events that happen in the ER that causes many a tear to fall even mine....

not a bad read i was drawn into the book after the tragic events of ER thats what kept me reading...all the lovey dovey stuff of weddings yuck but other may like it....

"Here Comes the Brides" is Micheala Lynn's sequel to "At All Costs." The story picks up after the pandemic. Micheala is a fantastic author, and I enjoy the characters. I especially like the way Jess is written to show she is still able to accept and give love. I appreciate her spirit and kindness. Alex, an ER doctor, is dealing with stress from the pandemic. While the book is enjoyable, I felt that Jess pushing on Alex's family was a bit much, given Alex's previous situation with coming out. Getting married can be overwhelming for anyone, and the situations for Jess and Alex keep getting crazier. Overall, the book is a good read.

The follow up to 'At All Costs'. Jess and Alex are getting married. This is the story of the trials and tribulations encountered as the date approaches. Humourous, bit angsty at times but an entertaining and, in some respects, true to life story of preparing to get married! Yes, approaching the wedding date can be a trying time for all!
