A Ghost Story is the perfect children's book for your weird niece, who is probably psychic. Jokes aside, this book is adorable. It approaches death in a comforting way, and I love the unique art style. The illustrations were darling, and I found the art of the 'living' animals especially lovely. I also particularly enjoyed that Death has a quaint cottage and serves pink cake - whenever I go, I want it to go like this. While I picked this book for more vibe/aesthetic purposes, it would be a great book to help explain to a child the passing of a pet or loved one.

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The pictures in this book are cute. The message in unique and one that is sometimes hard to explain to children.
