5 Stars! I’m in love with this new series ‘The Brotherhood of Solway Moss’! I finished this book in less than 2 days, I seriously couldn’t put it down! This is book one in the series and it is truly a fantastic read! Heather McCollum is one of my absolute favorite authors and she doesn’t disappoint with this one, she never does! I love how I learn true history while reading a fictional romance. I had never even heard of Solway Moss before reading this book but I truly love learning about Scottish history in an entertaining, historical romance. The main characters are Sara and Rory. I loved them both throughout this book and was rooting for their HEA ending, which I loved, even if I think I would’ve kept my forgiveness to myself for a little while longer than the main character did. I laughed, I cried, I got goosebumps, I was surprised & I didn’t want the book to end. That’s probably the only negative I can think of about this book, that it ended. Some hot ‘sexy times’, past secrets, shocking actions, war, peace, a stolen fairy flag, mistrust, evil doers, fighting with fellow countrymen, an HEA ending, and so much more. 100% recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!
