Obsessed with this sneak peek , but DYING FOR MORE . So beyond sad that this was only the prologue and chapter 1 ! GAAAH ! My gosh , I missed these characters SO MUCH !

I was only allowed an excerpt of this book. I was able to read thru chapter four. I didn't get invested into the book until the end of chapter four and then I couldn't read further. I am hoping to get this book soon so that I can give a proper review. What I read was a little slow but good. The children gave Linus a surprise birt party and a going away party at the same time. Him and Arthur are going to town to testify about magical beings. Chapter four got us to the courthouse.

What a cliffhanger! I did not realize how much I missed each and every one of the characters in this book. I am so emotionally attached to the children, especially Chauncey and can't wait to read more. So excited for the release tomorrow!! *WILL EDIT RATING ONCE COMPLETED THE ENTIRE BOOK*
Thank you to NetGalley for the eARC.

Had to reread The House in the Cerulean Sea to be ready for this sequel! I love TJ Klune and this teaser got me excited to read the whole book! I can't wait to be back in this world of the wonderful magical children of Marsyas as well as Linus and Arthur. Thanks to the publisher for this excerpt.

I only had an excerpt, but it was so good. I can't wait to get my hands on the full book this week! I love being back with Arthur Linus and the kids.

I loved this excerpt and cannot wait for the full book! It was like a warm hug to be back in this story with these quirky and lovable characters. The relationships and characterization is even stronger then I remember and I can't wait to see how the story builds.

When I signed up for this, i didn’t realize it was just an excerpt and not the full book - so I don’t feel like I can give an accurate rating just based on only a bit of the book. Overall, I’m excited for this release but disappointed that this wasn’t clearly outlined as an excerpt - so three stars

Thank you to the publisher, author, and Netgalley for a chance to read a part of this book. All thoughts are my own.
I am so, so excited for this to be released so I can get my hands on the full story. Diving back into T.J. Klune's writing and this world feels like being wrapped in a big hug.
I just so easily found myself wanting to read this as fast as possible and cannot wait for the rest of it.
Kline has a way of making fantasy so easy to digest and so fun a s whimsical. That's my biggest takeaway from reading the first few chapters is just the feeling it evokes. Lovers of The house in the Cerulean Sea are in for such a treat with this sequel. 🫶🏻

I got to read an excerpt of this sequel thanks to NetGalley! The first four chapters had me hooked. I love these characters so much. I love how inclusive these books are, but I do hope while we learn about the good fight, we also hear so much about our favorite characters.
I was already laughing and feeling so emotional in just the first four chapters, so I’m ready for all the feels this sequel will bring. So glad I got to read a little teaser!!

Excerpt for the second book, I was very happy to be back with these characters & can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
Fun little teaser

Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Publishing Group for an advanced excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea!
I forgot how wholesome Arthur, Linus, and the children are in this story, and it was so nice to be able to visit with them again! If the rest of the novel is anything like the first four chapters, we are all in for an excellent addition to the Cerulean universe. Based on this excerpt alone, I will be recommending it for purchase at my library very soon. Can't wait to see what the rest of the story has in store!

This first pages of this novel has me eager to read the rest. It feels like coming home returning to Marsyas Island! I already like the shift in tone that this novel has compared to the first in the series. Since this one is from Arthur Parnassus' perspective, it feels like instead of an outsider looking in the way we had with Linus, we are not only getting the viewpoint from someone who is an orphan, we are seeing how the magical house came to be. It's beautiful that we are getting to see the backstory of a man Linus (and us) grew to adore in the first novel.

I've been struggling with how to write this review for a while now. TJ Klune is a fantastic author, there's no doubt about that. However, with the knowledge that I have now that TJ Klune's first book "The House in the Cerulean Sea" was based on the Indigenous schools and the Sixties Scoop, I can not recommend it nor the sequel. I do not think that a non-indigenous person should get to write about and profit off the pain of indigenous people. After doing a lot of reading up on this, and seeing no action made by TJ Klune to rectify anything, I can not in good conscience give a review.

Everything TJ Klune writes is so cozy and magical. His writing is the emotional equivalent of curling up on your favorite chair with a mug of tea on a rainy day, I was so excited to read this except and absolutely cannot wait to read the whole thing!!

This 4 chapter tease is giving me all the feels…I can’t wait for more of Marsyas Island adventures!!
Thank Tor Publishing Group and NetGalley for a quick sample of this highly anticipated story.

I immediately pre-ordered the full book after reading this excerpt! I love TJ Klune's books but The House in the Cerulean Sea had some fatphobic language that really bothered me. At least in these first four chapters, that doesn't really come up and I hope that holds through this new adventure. You're plunged right into the action and I'm excited to see where this story goes!

Wow - I am already loving this book and NEED more! I was gifted this ARC copy of an excerpt of the book & the way TJ Klune continues to write lures me in! I cannot wait to finish and see where the rest of the book goes Beyond the Sea!

Was very happy to get a preview of Somewhere Beyond the Sea. I loved the first book and always hoped we get to see more of these characters.
Jumping back into life on Marsyas Island, we reconnect with Linus, Arthur and all of the kids. They each hold a special place in my heart. With just this sneak peak I can already see how these characters have grown and can’t wait to learn more about David.
With this excerpt I can already tell that this is going to be heartwarming, full of laughs, and a fun ride.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-ARC of this excerpt! I was so excited to get a sneak peek of a few chapters of this! I think this is my most anticipated book of the fall and cannot wait to grab a copy next week. These characters have my whole heart and I cannot wait to read the entire book!

I absolutely loved this sneak peek of TJ Klune's newest novel. The House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my favorite novels and this except made me so eager to finish and get the whole story! I'm so glad to be back in one of my favorite worlds on another heartwarming adventure.
