As always, another incredible one from TJ Klune!! I was so excited to see this sequel and this excerpt makes me even more excited to read the whole thing!!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Listen I only got the first four chapters, and it’s all I needed to know that this book is going to be amazing. It has just enough of those beautiful children we love, and the wonderful familial bonds they’ve made. I don’t always love a sequel, but the plot I know so far feels like further development of Arthur, instead of rehashing an issue we’ve already seen our characters work through. I can’t wait for the rest of it!

As someone who read Klune's previous novels and loved them, I was very excited for this novel. I was a little bummed that it was only a sample, but it just made me more excited to read the full novel when it comes out. Amazing setting, characters who I loved before and am excited to see again, and the start of a wonderful story.

The first few chapters are just as magical and charming as it's predecessor. Can't wait to pick this up on publication day. Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Books for a sneak peek.

So far, I loved that the book provided a glimpse into Arthur’s past. The kids are just as hilarious and heartwarming as they were in the first book, of course. Chapter four was such a cliffhanger, so I will be picking up my copy asap after its release on September 10th!!!
Five stars for what I have read so far, but I can't wait to see how the rest of the book goes.

At some point this title stopped saying Excerpt or Sneak Peek and I jumped in, it still was the first few chapters though and while I devoured them, I'll just have to be patient for the excellent writing from Klune.

I was graciously granted a sneak preview ARC copy by NetGalley and Tor. From the first few chapters, this promises to have the same cozy, magic as the first book, and I can't wait to dive in!

Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Books for an early electronic copy of the first five chapters in exchange for an honest review
I purposely waited to read this because I KNEW I WOULD BE SAD THAT I CAN'T READ THE REST OF THE BOOK RIGHT AWAY...
Okay, now that's out of the way. I absolutely loved this preview and I can't wait to read it. Only one more week and I already pre-ordered my copy. I will be consuming this book once it is delivered. I hope you didn't make plans with me because plans are canceled.
Read The House on the Cerulean Sea if you haven't yet. You still have time to become obsess with it before this book comes out.

I purposely waited to read this because I wanted minimal time between reading this preview and consuming the final copy. I loved the Easter eggs from the first book and I think this is going to be another amazing book.

Thank you Netgalley and Tor Books for an e-ARC excerpt of the first 70 pages of this book in exchange for a review.
ADORABLE! So cute and I will likely be picking up the book to be able to read the rest. 70 pages was not enough to get into the meat of the story, but it was so nice to be back with these characters and immersed in their world again!!

This was a tease! I really enjoyed this excerpt and I’m really looking forward to the book! I may need to re-read the first book though, it did take me a little bit to remember the characters.
Thank you Netgalley for the digital preview.

TJ Klune is one of my favourite authors, while reading this excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea i kept wishing it was the whole book, i'm so excited to read the remainder of Somewhere Beyond the Sea.

So bummed that this turned out to just be a sample and not the actual arc, and that wasn't listed anywhere, it just puts a bad taste in my mouth. That being said, it was wonderful and I cannot wait to read the book.

I was sad this was a sample and not the full book. I can’t wait for this one to release. This author is amazing at cozy fantasy and I am dying to read the full book!

Tj never fails to write a beautiful story and he did it once again. I love this little family and it was so wonderful to see how author feels and his past while not the happy childhood how he healed and made his future all his. He was fiercely protective of his family and I just never wanted to leave this world.

Delightful start to the book. It’s every bit as good as I remember the first one being. A colleague with a full ARC did warn me this one got a little darker though. I look forward to reading the whole book.

I cannot wait until this book is released on September 10th! TJ Klune is one of my auto reads/buys because he is an amazing writer, and his stories are so beautifully written with well-developed characters. I have had this book pre-ordered since he announced it, and I was so happy to see that there was an except available on NetGalley. It was so interesting to see how the children are growing up, and I am very excited to see where this book will take us.

This excerpt has gotten me in a cerulean mood!! The tiny taste of Book 2 has got me ravenous for more. I can't wait to see the rest of what's in store for Linus, Arthur, and the most magical children around. The story picks up right where Book 1 left off and we're already given the cutest of family moments before our two leading men head off to the city to try and change the rules for magical beings. Thanks so much TJ Klune, Tor Publishing Group, and NetGalley for the chance to get a head start on Somewhere Beyond the Sea. Can't wait!

I love The House in the Cerulean Sea when I read it, and I am so excited to read this sequel. The excerpt has the great writing we know, and a look into the characters lives after the first and also a look into Author's story before he became the caregiver of the orphaned kids. I am excited to see more of where this story goes and more of the world we love.

What a delight to be back in this world. I did a relisten of book one so I was fully immersed in the world and I’m glad I did. I’d forgotten quite a bit and it brought me write back into this cozy fantasy of magical creatures and found family. Can’t wait to finish it!

So excited to be immersed in this world again! I loved House in the Cerulean Sea and I cannot wait to see what happens next for these beloved characters! Sad this was only an excerpt from the book, but still looking forward to reading the rest of this story!
