Since this was only an excerpt, there’s not much to say except I was thrilled to be back with Arthur, Linus, and the children. I can’t wait to read the complete novel when it is released in September.

What a tease!
Seriously, TJ Klune excels at writing magical settings with wonderful characters. I love being immersed in the worlds that Klune creates with his imagination and beautiful writing. This moving and gripping tease of Somewhere Beyond the Sea grabbed my attention and had me wanting more. Somewhere Beyond the Sea is of the sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea.
Believe me when I tell you that this book is going to be pure magic!

I’m afraid I didn’t realise this was only an excerpt when I requested it. I am looking forward to reading the sequel as the first novel was very eccentric and warm. I hope the two main characters complement each other as well as they did in the first book.

This just makes me even more excited for the book to come out. I cannot wait. Just by reading this excerpt I know it’s going to be just as sweet and fantastic as the first book,

Thanks NetGalley for the advanced copy of the first 4 chapters in exchange for an honest review!
Klune continues his cozy, found family tale in his second instalment of The House in the Cerulean Sea. Where the whimsical world building is matched with humorous dialogue between the children. I love Chauncey, he is my son that I’ll protect at all costs.

I really enjoy books from this author. I did not realize when I started reading this book that it was an excerpt only. It was not advertised as such. That being said, it started off well and I can't wait to read the book in its entirety.

Not too sure how exactly I’m supposed to give a review and rating from an excerpt. Disappointing that the full galley isn’t available to reviewers. I would’ve loved for the opportunity to review this on my instagram page ahead of publication.

Somewhere Beyond the Sea put me right back onto the island with Arthur and the children and I cannot wait to continue to read this amazing book. I was so sad that this was only an excerpt of the book, but am so so excited to get my hands on the book when it is released. TJ Klune does an amazing job of putting you right back in this world. I gave it 4 stars because it is an exerpt and of course stopped on a cliffhanger.
Thank you TJ Klune, Tor Books, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is the most eagerly awaited book on my reading list! And from the excerpt I read, it will not be a disappointment! TJ Klune’s masterful storytelling shines once again in Somewhere Beyond the Sea. This eagerly anticipated sequel reunites readers with the beloved characters from The House in the Cerulean Sea, drawing them back into a world where ordinary words are transformed into extraordinary narratives.
Arthur Parnasus and Linus Baker return, joined by their extraordinary crew of magical children. As they journey to Bandycross to face the enigmatic Upper Management, readers are invited to reconnect with the enchanting Phee, the loyal Sal, the formidable Theodore, the green-thumbed Talia, the ever-optimistic Chauncy, and the enigmatic Lucy.
Klune's ability to create such endearing and unforgettable characters is a testament to his talent. Somewhere Beyond the Sea promises to be another captivating chapter in the lives of these beloved individuals, and readers eagerly anticipate the continuation of their magical adventure.

TJ Klune continues to be the king of charming characters. This excerpt brought charm, charisma, and whimsy. I once again fell into this beautifully built world and could really feel the stakes. I cannot wait to get my hands on the full novel this fall!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Tor Publishing for allowing me to read an excerpt of the sequel to one of my favorite books, Beyond the Cerulean Sea, by the magical TJ Klune. I don't think any other author comes close to creating such magical worlds and characters that feel so incredibly real and have so much to teach us. I literally cannot wait for the full book to come out in less than 2 months. More please!!

As always T J Klune does not disappoint. Anyone who read the first books needs to grab this. The excerpt only left me wanting more! Cannot wait for this one.

I loved this excerpt - and I am so excited to read the full book! T.J. Klune's writing is absolutely breathtaking and transports you to new worlds filled with love, loss, friendship, and more.

Thank you NetGalley and Tor Publishing Group for this e-arc excerpt in exchange for my honest review.
TBH—I didn’t realize that’d requested an excerpt and not the full novel, but it was just enough to give me a feel for the sequel of House in the Cerulean Sea. I love the writing style and found myself laughing throughout the excerpt.
In the excerpt, we find ourselves once again immersed in Marsyus Island and see a little more into Arthur’s background when he first came to the island and came back to it all those years later in the hopes to change other magical children’s lives. Now Arthur’s time has come to speak his truth and stand up for all magical children. What will come of Arthur’s summons? I’m excited to find out when the novel publishes this September!

Really enjoyed the excerpt, but really sad it wasn't the whole book! Really hoping to read the entire book in the future as I really enjoy this authors writing style!

I absolutely love Klune's writing and this excerpt is no exception. I am so excited for the full length novel to be here, to dive back into Marsyas Island! Arthur's story is going to be an exciting one. Thank you to NetGalley for the excerpt! It just makes me that much more excited for the full length novel!

I love TJ Klune! I am so very excited to read this! Thank you so much for the preview! I will definitely be purchasing this book when it comes out.

This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2024, and this excerpt has somehow managed to increase my excitement. T.J. Klune is a master of world-building and this book feels like catching up with old friends!

I confession...I haven't read the excerpt yet and I am not going to. I am so excited for this book to come out and reading a small portion of it may just make my brain explode with anticipation. (I didn't realise it was an excerpt when I requested it.)
Anyway TJ Klune is amazing and I can not wait for September 10.

Thank you netgalley for letting me read this exempt. I loved the first book and from the first chapter in this book I was hooked again. It's a funny story that I find myself laughing out loud. I love that this book is from Arthur's point of view. It shows us when Aurthur returned to the island/house and how the house came to be, before it continues the story from the first book. I can't wait until this book comes out so I can continue reading it.
