Pull at my heart strings a bit more, TJ Klune! The sequel we have all been waiting for. While I have only read the first four chapters (excerpt only), I can confidently say, you will not be disappointed come September when the book is released!! The author dove right back into the world we left in The House in the Cerulean Sea. As always, TJ Klune’s witty writing had me laughing out loud. The character development that takes place in just four short chapters is remarkable! I cannot wait to get my hands on the whole thing!!

Somewhere Beyond the Sea artfully brings the readers back into the world of Arthur and Linus with their 6 magical children. TJ also interweaves the story of Arthur and focuses more on the story being told from primarily Arthur’s perspective. Although this is only an excerpt this will be another best seller and I cannot wait to read the rest of the book on September 10th!

This was wonderful and awful at the same time. Wonderful, because the writing and characters and setting are brilliant and immediately draw you in. Awful, because it is only an excerpt!! I cannot wait until the book is released! Already preordered!

So excited for this release! The small snippet of this excerpt isn’t much, but it is plenty to get fans ready for the next story of Linus & Arthur.

AH! I wish this was the entire book and not just an excerpt! TJ Klune is absolutely brilliant! I love his writing! I have not read a single one of his books that I did not love, and I know that Somewhere Beyond the Sea will be no different once I finally get to read it. Truly magical!

I was delighted to read an excerpt from the sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea. There’s the most beautiful tearjerker of a scene where the kids throw a birthday celebration for Linus, and it encapsulates everything we have come to love about these characters.

It certainly seems like the story is moving in a political direction with Arthur’s testimony before a government committee. The symbolism tracks with what’s happening in real life in real time, and I look forward to reading the rest of the book!

Where do I even begin? I'm so beyond excited for this to come out! It feels like I've been waiting forever for this book to finally come out. And this excerpt did such a good job setting the stage and what people can expect in the fall!

The long-awaited sequel to The House on the Cerulean Sea, I already ordered 6 copies to my store based only on the excerpt - and I have customer orders for it as well. It pulled me in and filled me with the homey, loving aura that pervades this most wholesome of Klune's books. I can't wait to read the whole thing!

God, coming to the end of the provided excerpt was genuinely painful. Seeing the characters we loved so much in House On the Cerulean Sea back as a loving family unit has truly healed my heart. This is definitely the top book on my TBR, I'm yeeting everything else out the window the moment it's released.

This was a phenomenal first 4 chapters. The pure love in the mission of the orphanage is so heartwarming, and I know I am speaking for all the readers when I say, we are loving the backstories. The pacing is incredible so far, and I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the book and enjoy the story/characters more.

I find it hard to write a review for the book, since this was only an excerpt. However, this is still one of my most anticipated release of the year.

I thoroughly enjoyed diving back into their world and watching Arthur and Linus interact with the children. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I started reading their story again. It was very heart-warming and I feel like this will be a perfect winter cozy read. I’m looking forward to posting a full review once I’ve read the entire book.
