Thank you to netgalley for an excerpt of this masterpiece. I'm so sad that I have to wait months to read the rest but what I read so far, I loved!!
Arthur and Linus are back and the magical children are right there with them. I absolutely loved the first book and just blazed through the excerpt of this one in one sitting. Can't wait to read the book this fall!

I love reading TJ Klune's books and this excerpt has me really excited for the whole thing! Can't wait!

I think TJ Klune is an auto buy author for me and for any collection. His stories are amazing and incredibly written. Would be an amazing addition to any collection.

I shouldn’t have read this excerpt – because now the wait until September is going to be tough!
The direction this excerpt took is enticing, and it will be nice to get a closer glimpse into Arthur as a character – with less of a focus on Linus. It would be nice to see the children more fleshed out in the rest of this book too!

It's no secret how much I adore TJ's works. I have been looking forward to this book since it was announced and honestly, just from this snippet alone I can already tell it's going to be an incredible read. The children already seem to be growing so fast! The closeness of this found family is so touching! And the clear message that the though they may have won one battle, the war is far from over is so clear. I cannot wait to read more!!! Ugh, I love this world!

I recently had the pleasure of reading an excerpt of "Somewhere Beyond the Sea" by TJ Clune. I've read other books by the same author, including "The House in the Cerulean Sea," which I rated 5 stars. This four-chapter excerpt is both delightful and suspenseful, and I'm eagerly looking forward to reading the full book when it's released in September.
Klune’s writing is lyrical and beautifully descriptive. His characters, especially the unique and utterly adorable magical children, are beyond compare. Klune's words work their magic, bringing these enchanting beings to life on the page. I'm filled with curiosity and anticipation for the book's release in September.

Thank you for the preview of this sequel. I was excited to review the first few chapters where we find Linus and Arthur living their happily ever after. However, it may be short lived as they wish to adopt the kids and in traveling to the seat of government to make this request, they also agree to testify about the conditions such magical children lived under given the policies and prejudice. As they are about to testify, they are told the new minister intends to make them a warning to others. It’s clear this book will center on prejudice and the attacks of discrimination that are the every day lives of some. If anyone can navigate it’s Linus and Arthur and I cannot wait to read it.

Imagine my disappointment in realizing this is only an excerpt! Klune's writing is as atmospheric as ever. I'll be looking forward to the release of the full book.

The excerpt has me chomping at the bit to get the real thing. I had all the feels diving back into Arthur and Linus’s lives

As always with TJ Klune, I'm hooked immediately—so drawn in by the voice, characters, and soul of this book. I cannot wait to read more when the full novel is released in September!

I was so honored to be given a sneak preview of the first four chapters of this book! The House in the Cerulean Sea was one of my favorite reads from last year so I have been very excited to read book 2. I am just so in love with all the characters and their adorable-ness. It seems like book 2 is going to be just a cute and heart warming and I can’t wait to read more!!
Thanks to NetGalley for sending me a sneak peek!

Excellent excerpt!! Thanks for the link! Hard to recommend or tag or rate it without reading the whole book, but I can’t wait to read the whole book. TJ Klune is a must-read for me.

I am going to cry and laugh and cry laugh through this entire book. Then as soon as I finish it, I will start it over from the beginning.

Lovely story, as the prior two. Love this author and his stories. Beautifully written, will very likely read again!

HOLY MOLY! I was so happy when I learned there would be a continuation from Cerulean Sea as I was absolutely craving to learn more about Arthur and what happens next in the story. I loved the flash backs at the start of this as it perfectly set the stage for what is to come. I love seeing Arthur and Linus' relationship bloom and how Linus and the children interact. It fills my heart. These children are really special and individually amazing, but together are just the perfect family. I can't wait to read the rest and learn how things will go down with DICOMY. Thank you TJ Klune for writing this amazing series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Books for an arc excerpt of this novel.

Four chapters in, and there is already so much to love about this sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea. There are such intense stakes so very skillfully conveyed, and such relevant parallels to our current society. I look forward to the book’s expected publication in September 2024.

Thank you to NetGalley, Tor Publishing, and TJ Klune for access to a snippet of this sequel!
Confirmed-more magical children 😍
I had four chapter access back to this cozy world and I can't wait for the official publishing, especially because the audio in the last was such a magical place. It seems we can expect Arthur and Linus now fighting government for the rights of magical children everywhere.

It was lovely to see these characters again and return to this world! The children are as lovable as ever, and I would be lying if I said that I didn't tear up a little because of them (I'm avoiding spoilers here so that I can't explain the exact reason). I'm super intrigued to see how this story continues and where the information we learn toward the end of the excerpt takes us. I enjoyed that real-life issues are reflected in this story because they are essential to acknowledge and discuss. I didn't give the excerpt five stars because of the pacing; I think the epilogue needs a marker, and these four chapters felt like they lasted forever. I'm beyond excited about this book, but it wasn't holding my attention like the first one.

Reading the first few pages of Somewhere Beyond the Sea was like walking inside the home of a friend’s - warm, welcoming, and so familiar! This sequel picks up as if no time has passed since the first and I cannot wait to finish the rest of the novel.

Not surprised at all that this was perfect, 10/10, I cannot wait to read the whole thing!! TJ Klune can do no wrong.
