More, more, more! I have been anticipating the sequel to TJ Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea since I heard there would be one and am very excited to have gotten the Somewhere Beyond the Sea excerpt. While it is satisfying in a way, I am still eagerly awaiting the whole novel. If this excerpt is an indication of what is to come, Somewhere Beyond the Sea is going to be another fabulous treat from Klune!
Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with the ARC ebook I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

This sneak peak has amplified my excitement to read the full story when it is published later this year. I was instantly drawn in to the characters. Their love, resiliency, and passion immediately shine through the pages and part of my heart was on the island with Arthur and crew.

I received a sample of the second installment of The House In Cerulean Sea series - Somewhere Beyond The Sea. The first four chapters were wonderfully done, and now I cannot wait to read the book in its entirety. TJ Klume's writing is unique and always has charm, making it an enjoyable read. If the book is as great as the excerpt, I can't wait to follow Arthur, Linus, and the children on their new adventures in the new installment.
Thank you to Netgallery and to Tor Publishing Group for the sample of the story.

Wow! This may have been just a small portion of this book but I ate it up. I love how we are going to get Aruthur's backstory! Also really enjoy how it just picks up right where we left off. Can't wait to read the whole book when it comes out.

Excerpt review: It feels magical to be back on the island with our favorite characters, this reunion was worth the wait and I'm mentally preparing for the upcoming emotional rollercoaster. It brings me joy to be able to return to something that brought out so much warmth (and stress and sadness). While this may only be an excerpt, I can tell we're in for a real treat when the full book comes out. Can't wait! Thanks for the teaser.

tj.... tj!!!! just slide the book across the table inconspicuously, no one has to know. I won't tell a soul; you'll just see a review with seven hundred heart emojis and know that I loved it.
I'm convinced that I would read his grocery list because it would be just as beautiful, lyrical, and heartwarming as his books. I need the rest of this book like I need air to breathe. even in this short excerpt, you can feel the care that TJ puts into writing each individual character to create a masterpiece of the found family trope. I love this book and this author with my whole heart, and I CANNOT WAIT for the book come September!

While I am a little disappointed that this was just an excerpt, I still look forward to reading the full book when it is out.

I am so excited about this sequel to Cerulean Sea. As I was reading the excerpt, I couldn’t keep the smile off my face. This series is one I will remember forever and can hopefully pass on to my grandkids. The characters, the world building is absolutely amazing. As I work with special needs kids, I know the importance of making every child feel they belong and are special in their small worlds. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of giving me happy glimpse into Arthur’s world.

Somewhere Beyond the Sea Excerpt by TJ Klune the sequel to The house in the Cerulean Sea gives one enough of a taste to definitely want to read the whole story when it comes out. The characters are odd to say the least but these books have a lot of good things to say about accepting everyone for who they really are and should be read by everyone.

I should have read this listing more closely, but the title got cut off on the main page and I got so excited that this sequel was available that I didn't bother looking at the full listing before requesting... and so I didn't know it was only an excerpt. Still excited for the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Sadly this is only an excerpt. Absolutely fantastic and I’m eagerly awaiting to read the entire novel.

I can’t wait to read the whole book! I love the characters and am excited to future explore the story. I have loved everything by this author and am honored to read an excerpt.

This excerpt is a very strong start to the story. It organically provides information about the characters' personalities and abilities, and group dynamics. It also sets up what will be the main plot of the story. I'll definitely come back to read the reast once it's released!

I had no idea this was an excerpt! Whenever I read TJ Klunes novels I’m instantly transported to a magical place of comfort and imagination. The first book was a 5⭐️ read for me, and I can already tell this will be too!

What a tease!! Omg this makes me even more excited for the actual book! Thank you for the opportunity to read this excerpt! I absolutely adored the first book and rated it 5 stars and I have no doubt this will earn the same rating

TJ Klune is a fantastic writer. It feels like YA / children's but completely engrosses the adult. I feel like the words just come spilling out of him without any work because they are that easy to read. However, I didn't realize that this was an excerpt, not a whole book. Very frustrating.

The House in the Cerulean Sea is my favorite book ever I literally screamed when I saw TJ Klune wrote a sequel. Based of the four chapter excerpt I already know I’m going to be obsessed with this book. Will almost definitely be in my top five reads of this year

Absolutely incredible; I have no notes - and that is a true rarity. September cannot come soon enough for me to get lost again in this world.

TJ Klune is an excellent writer, with both a riveting plot and well-developed characters. This excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea makes me eager for the full book! I loved the first book and am so excited to read the remainder of Somewhere Beyond the Sea.

Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Publishing for providing this excerpt, with my honest review below.
Ever since I read The House in the Cerulean Sea I fell in love with TJ Klune’s magical writing about orphans who needed some love and equality and their carers, Arthur and Linus. As a result I’m not shocked I gobbled down the excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea. While I wished it were the whole book, this excerpt proved incredibly promising with a revisit back to the magical world Klune created. And I thought the timing very significant given this book mirrors the struggles we are seeing amongst children today, without voices of their own (or not being heard) and those fighting for them. I can’t wait to read the rest, but this was the perfect taste of what’s to come - and I couldn’t be more excited!
