I originally got this book as an ARC from the publisher, but wouldn’t you know it - life got a bit too stressful and I didn’t have time to get through it before the copy expired. Months later, my local library got it in stock, and I spent time with it. I found the book overall to be interesting, though it went a bit too “woo” and biased without the data at several points, which is why I’ve taken it down a bit. It also got a bit more salesy than I’d have liked for the authors’ online community they’re building. That said, the only piece that I think would be worth a go to take away was the daily ritual suggestion, and I will give that a try. All in, I’d recommend a flip through to see if it speaks to you.

This was a fascinating book. It is full of useful ideas and tips to help manage stress, and was really good at helping me recenter my mindset and put boundaries back in place. My only complaint is that it is a rather long book, and for people who are easily stressed, it feels a bit stressful to have to read more than 300 pages to help solve your stress.
Note: The author has a strong accent, which made it hard to understand during the more technical sections of the book. While it added character, it was a bit tricky to know what he was saying.

I am a therapist, and as soon as I listened to this book, I immediately started recommending it to all of my clients. It is well organized and well thought out. I enjoyed it very much, and I am a fan forever now!
