Ok...this story was the sweetest!!

I loved the pace of the book, the character development, and the background information at just the right time. I felt as though I could feel Hannah's struggles and thoughts as she considers life's next steps, and I wanted to sit on that back porch with them for ALL the cookouts! Each character had their place, their own struggles/solutions, and I found that that multiple POV's kept me intrigued without drawing out one storyline too long.

The narrator also did a fantastic job at drawing me in, making me feel as though I was there with them.

Thank you NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for the ALC of this sweet story!

Fans of Hallmark movies will enjoy The Seaside Sisters which follows two sisters and their aunt following the death of their mother/sister. I enjoyed the multiple points of view and how the story tied everyone together, along with the picturesque setting. The ending was pretty predictable, but overall this was a cute read.
3.5 stars if I could give a half.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Another fun beachy read by Pamela Kelley. I found this to be a good read, but very similar to a Denise Hunter book that I just finished too. I enjoyed the stories about the sisters and the aunt to be interesting and easy to follow.

This was a great summer read! I started this on vacation, and it was fabulous to read on the beach. I loved the multiple viewpoints and the characters. The setting was fun and I loved the food descriptions. They were vivid and made me feel like I was there with them. This was a great beach read with a lot of heart!

Although I received this copy of The Seaside Sisters from NetGalley- thank you- it did not alter my opinion in any way. I liked author's previous beachy reads, so I selected her new audiobook The Seaside Sisters based on the synopsis of the sisters Sara and Hannah, and Hannah's going between two of my favorite places: Brooklyn, NY and Cape Cod’s Chatham, being intriguing to me. Unfortunately, the characters did not resonate with me. I was hoping the sisters would have more of a connection and their bond would be palpable. struggled with this under developed storyline, especially the relationship jump with Spencer. When I finally got to the end to write a review, all that came to mind, even with great geography in the mix, was bland. The plot was extremely lackluster and I personally did not enjoy this audiobook’s narrator. 2/5.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review, The Seaside Sisters by Pamela Kelley. This review is purely my thoughts and opinions based on this book.

A novel about a struggling author and a mother who seems stuck in a consistent routine. Ironically enough, they’re sisters! The characters were great, very lovable and easy to follow. I love how people from
the last re-surface too and how romances rekindle after years. It offers hope, and joy.

I enjoyed the beach theme, romance, and a bit of mystery. It’s truly amazing how one summer can change everything!

The setting sounded incredible, I was looking forward to a nice beach escape book. The main characters are 2 sister and an aunt. I found the characters terribly boring. Not any heart pounding romances or real action in the story.

Thanks to Netgalley and St Martin’s press for this eArc for my honest review.

I liked this book. It was light and easy. It was slow at points and I felt like I knew how it would end early on. But, I was invested. I would've liked more attention focused on the sister's marriage because that is what peaked my interest.

A cute summertime read. I love Cape Cod. All the different relationships in different stages was nice to see without cheating being involved. The narrator was pleasant as well.

Add this to your audiobook TBR! It comes out June 3. ☀️🏝️🌊👙📚I had both the book as well as the audiobook, but had a lot of laundry, vacuuming, and things to do yesterday- so the audiobook it was.

Such a sweet beach read! Hannah has an anxiety attack, and is overwhelmed from life lately. She is trying to write her second novel, and having a harder time than she did with her first. Her mom passed away six months ago, and so when she calls her sister Sara, Hannah heads back to her home on Cape Cod. Her Aunt has her stay with her at her house to rest, and refocus. Sara, her sister, has four kids, a fizzling marriage, and is trying to find a part time job. It ends up being the summer both sisters need to heal and to spend time together. There’s some love, some healing, and some sweet sister moments in this book I really enjoyed. Thank you @netgalley @pamelamkelley @stmartinspress for this advance copy.

Seaside Sisters By Pamela M, Kelly is such a sweet love story. The story follows two sisters, Hannah, a romance writer from Brooklyn and Sara, a busy stay at home mom to 4 boys. Hannah finds herself in a writing slump, and decides to go back to Chatham (her hometown) for the summer. Hannah stays with her aunt while she's in Chatham, and gets to know the next door neighbor, and their grandson Spencer, who happens to be an acquaintance from high school.

If you enjoy Elin HIlderbrand, Mary Kay Andrews and Susan Mallory books, you'll enjoy The Seaside Sisters. A perfect summer read.

What a good story! I love stories with a good setting and Chatham was a perfect setting. The characters were lovable if not a little predictable, bu that predictability was what made this book such a good lighthearted read. This is going to be a perfect beach read for this summer. A perfect book to finish in a day because it will keep you intrigued.

A young woman who’s a writer has writers block and goes home to Cape Cod — the characters and plot felt two dimensional for much of the story but for me the authenticity came with Sara and Tom’s relationship and Hannah and Spenser’s friendship and possible love interest those moments were what kept me intrigued for the outcome — and I was invested in Sara and Spenser as characters as well as the chemistry with Hannah and Spenser . The audiobook was great — the narrator had excellent skills for male and female voicing and definitely helped keep my interest and made it easy to finish the story in a day . Great light fluffy —cozy romance —beach read for one’s collection.

Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan audio for this ALC. this is my honest review .

What a lovely story! Hannah is a romance writer who has just suffered a breakup and the death of her mother. This has combined to give her a major writing block. So, she heads to Cape Cod to spend the summer with her family. Sara, her sister, has had a lot of family obligations and now wants to return to the book industry and rekindle her marriage.

I love a book with wonderful Cape Cod vibes, lots of books, coffee, and some summer romance. I really enjoyed the story, and the narration was great.

Thank you to the author, netgalley, St. Martin's Press, and MacMillan Audio for the opportunity to read an ALC in exchange for an honest review.

The Seaside Sisters follows sisters, Hannah and Sara who recently lost their mother, and their aunt, Maddie all spending the summer in Chatham. Hannah is a Brooklyn-based romance author who is trying to write her second book, Sara is an overworked and underappreciated mother of 4, and Maddie is trying to reconcile with her husband. I enjoyed the different characters and storylines, though I thought they would have been much stronger if they were written in first person. The third person perspective left the book feeling a little flat to me.

The characters were enjoyable for the most part, though I had a really hard time reading Sara's storyline because her husband was so insufferable. Overall the book was light and believable, would be great for a beach read or to read on an airplane.
