Thank you NetGalley and publishers for this arc!!
I loved "Savor It," so I am so excited to read this!!

The story of Deacon and LaRynn's had that classic forced proximity and marriage of convenience vibe, with lots of chemistry. a little bit of miscommunication or just life things happening but we see them both grow a lot, which was nice to see, even though I don’t always love the miscommunication trope. While it wasn't my favorite from Tarah, she still knows how to create characters you can’t help but love.

LaRynn and Deacon are thrown together when their grandmothers find love with each other. The two end up having a summer fling and ended in a disaster. Fast forward and their grands have passed away, they've inherited the house that is falling apart and LaRynn's life is falling apart. LaRynn has dropped out of law school and is couch surfing at the moment when Deacon tells her that if she doesn't show up for the house that he will sue her. LaRynn ends up going to the house to help with what she can. These two have almost a war of the roses that is happening in the home.

I cried, I laughed and felt all the feels with this book. Also, I loved the way that it would go to present day to past. Also the perspective would go between LaRynn telling the story and Deacon telling the story.

Thank you #NetGalley for the advance copy!

The Co-Op is a beautifully woven story that is chock full of warmth and vulnerable characters that are so clearly meant to be. The second chance factors here made my heart ache in the best way possible, with multiple scenes that had me laughing hysterically one minute, and quietly weeping the next. I found myself reading this one very slowly... I wasn't ready for it to end, and that is always the testament of a phenomenal book.

A special shout out to Tarah whose DM's I was in the entire time I was reading this. The similarities were uncanny, please... My husband telling me to never throw away bath towels, the throw pillows and how Deacon proposed being THE EXACT WAY MY HUSBAND PROPOSED with the tie.

I think the concept here is really interesting, but I’m finding it’s just not a book for me. There is a lot of interpersonal conflict, particularly for the beginning of the book. Could easily work for others though!! Just not my cup of tea.

I went in knowing nothing, and was I ever pleasantly surprised! We've got second chance (teenage “first love”), marriage of convenience, forced proximity. There is good banter and chemistry between LaRynn and Deacon.

I DEVOURED this adorable love story. There's a bit of dual timeline happening, the majority is in the present when our FMC is 27 and our MMC is 28, and the other back when she was 19 and he was 20. There is definitely some trauma both MCs are dealing with, both related to each other and their own histories and when the walls finally come down is it so sweet. There is pining (both ways), open door spice (that only adds to the plot, doesn't take over), and enough humour to get you through the emotional bits.

Highly recommend!

Perfect for fans of second chance romance, forced proximity, and marriage of convenience.

Review:
I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars. It was neither good nor bad. It is okay, in my opinion. I have read other books by this author and really liked them, so it was just this book that didn’t stand out to me. It felt like the romance was left until later in the book, it felt boring getting through the first part. The characters were good, but I was not invested in their relationship, which affects my rating. Overall, I would not recommend this book to others.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I wanted to like this book, but for me it was just slow. If you’re a romance fan who likes second chance romance, enemies to lovers, or marriage of convenience this will be for you. Definitely pulls on some deep themes but overall a decent summer read.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I’m a huge sucker for second chance romance, and. It a fan of enemies to lovers, so I wasn’t sure how this one would hit for me but I LOVED it. The banter was so spot on and reminded me of Abby Jimenez. The characters felt real and relatable, albeit frustrating at times. I immediately went and put all of this authors other books on my TBR.

I loved this one! Definitely a different take on the strangers marrying to help each-other out concept. It was light, refreshing, a little spice and such a cute ending. A seemingly real-life happy ending. I will definitely be suggesting this to my book clubs!

Thank you St. Martin’s and NetGalley for my ARC.

I am a huge fan of Tarah’s and this book was further proof. I adored the second chance romance (with forced proximity!) and the tension was SIZZLING. I was rooting so hard for Deacon and LaRynn and just adored their story.

I can’t wait to see what Tarah writes next!

The renovated version of The Co-Op is absolutely worth the read. I really enjoyed the indie version, but I love this renovated version even more. There’s so much we gain with these added scenes, we get to know and love LaRynn and Deacon more.

Tarah DeWitt can do no wrong. She’s one of my favorite authors and I recommend her books to everyone. You won’t regret reading The Co-Op.

The Co-op is a second chance/marriage of convenience romance about two people learning to trust and love each other while simultaneously forgiving each other for the hurt they’ve caused one another in the past. I was already a big fan of LaRynn and Deacon's story when the indie version of this book released back in 2022, but I loved this renovated version even more. I think the newly added dual timeline added so much to their story.

I love how every book by Tarah DeWitt has not only a compelling love story that readers can’t help but root for, but also these relatable characters with so much depth to them. I will forever read anything she writes and I can’t recommend this book enough!

4.5/5 stars!!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for a digital ARC of The Co-op.

I have mixed feelings about this. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I struggled at the beginning. The FMC isn't very likeable, which I think is the point, but her attitude grated on my nerves. I also thought some things were implausible and the miscomunnication trope isn't my favorite. I liked the MMC and the banter between them. The premise was also good and the writing well done. Very spicy! I did like the ending though, and would still read more from the author.

My first Tarah DeWitt novel and I loved it!!

I’m not the biggest fan of second chance romance but this one was so well done. They had such amazing chemistry and the marriage of convenience was perfect. Deacon and LaRynn are both such amazing characters and they grow so much throughout the book. Forced proximity and the spice was off the charts and I would definitely recommend this book!

A huge thank you NetGalley and St Martin’s Griffin for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Tarah DeWitt is quickly becoming one of my favourite and go-to romance authors. The Co-op was my second read by her and I could not put it down. I loved the second-chance and marriage of convenience tropes and was cheering the main characters on the whole time. They were so likeable, flawed and relatable and I absolutely will be recommending this book to readers looking for a fresh romance story with some great spice.

As someone who has read the original version of this story, I really enjoyed reading the new and renovated version. I loved the changes Tarah made by adding moments in the past where we’re able to get to know LaRynn and Deacon more which also gives you a better understanding of their feelings in the present.

The Co-op is a great blend of comedy and vulnerability. Deacon and LaRynn are two wonderfully flawed characters. Their relationship is messy, but it makes the build up to them falling back in love that much sweeter.

I loved this book and the second chance romance! It was my first book my Tarah DeWitt and it definitely won’t be my last.

Read just a bit too slow for me. It's a second chance romance and it was hard for me to root for them. I think it was just a subjective issue.

Tarah DeWitt's The Co-op is more than just a story about fixing up a dilapidated building; it's a blueprint for rebuilding relationships. LaRynn and Deacon are a combustible mix of past resentment and present necessity, thrown together by a twist of fate and a shared inheritance. Their forced proximity is a powder keg of sparks and sizzling tension.

DeWitt masterfully balances the physical labor of construction with the emotional heavy lifting required to repair broken hearts. The characters are complex and relatable, their journey as compelling as the transformation of the house itself. It’s a story about compromise, forgiveness, and the unexpected ways love can bloom.

If you enjoy a romance that's as heartwarming as it is hot, with characters you'll root for every step of the way, The Co-op is a must-read.

This was cute! It gives almost everybody (romance readers) a little nibble of everything. I feel like describing the trope list of this book would be similar to the those informercials that are advertising their homewares items of them having everything? You like second chance romance? We got that in store? We also have enemies to lovers and forced proximity! And if you like marriages of convenience we definitely got that too! Which dont get me wrong, I found that honestly enjoyable because the plot was moving and was easy to read and flow through. It was very face value run of the mill romance story though, nothing really stood out but I still had a good time!
