Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.

This was a fun and lighthearted read which I forsee children asking for their parents to read to them over and over again. I thought the story was easy to follow, but also had a good moral. This is very important in a children's book as these books help to shape young minds!

Many Thanks again to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.

I suspect that kids will like this book very much, particularly since there seems to be a sequel in the making featuring Moms instead of Dads as the competition. Recommended for anyone trying to up their Dad joke game.

Fun and silly. My dad-joke telling husband and dad-joke loving kids will love this one. And shoutout to the cute and inclusive art!

Not really funny. The kids are tired of "dad jokes," but their jokes are basically the same thing. Might be fun for kids who are new to puns, but some of the jokes will go over their heads.

Every mother knows the daily struggle. Dad jokes innately emerge as soon as the first child begins to talk. This book embraces the “humor” and acknowledges how sometimes it’s the joke and sometimes it’s the delivery. Follow the story of a brother and sister challenging their dad (and all of the neighborhood dads) to a joke-off, to end the torture once and for all. This book will leave you laughing and groaning with each turn of the page, and maybe provide you with a few pins of your own.

I received an advance copy of this book to read and review. Great illustrations that kept my child and I entertained. And, as a personal lover of puns and dad jokes, this hit the nail on the head perfectly - my husband doesn’t share my love of this type of humor, so he was groaning the entire time. There were even a bunch I hadn’t hear debtors - BONUS!!! I’m eager for the follow up that the ending leads me to believe will exist.

The only suggestion I have for the author is to run it through editing one more time to remove the multiple spelling errors. Otherwise, this story was terrific.

Super cute. I can see this book being a big hit with families. I really liked the illustrator they chose too. The book had a large cast of diverse characters that all got moments to shine. This would also make a great Father's Day gift!

This book was a delight to read. It truly kept me entertained right from the beginning all the way to the end.
An aspect I thought was very clever and unique was drawing each joke literally. It almost made the jokes funnier. Reading this book also felt like watching a close sports game - I was cheering and invested the whole time.
My favorite part by far was the ending, when all of the moms show up. I'll admit - I want to read the sequel! I bet it would/will be just as great if not greater than this first book.
Great job!!

This was a fun approach to family differences and how to deal with them. Are you tired of those annoying dad jokes? Well, have a contest and prove the kids are funnier!
The jokes are silly and cute and the ending was fun, setting itself up for a sequel I'd be happy to read. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Very funny book about a face off between Dads telling Dad jokes and kids telling Dad jokes. Good (and familiar) jokes, smart writing, and colorful and fun illustrations, this book is a winner. There is even a surprise ending and a hint of what might be written next, but enough about that. A fun and enjoyable reading for this grandfather and teller of Dad jokes for lots and lots of years. Good concept for a book, very well executed.

I think a lot of children can relate to this book. Sadie and her friends are tired of hearing the same old Dad jokes. They decide to have a joke contest Dads against children. This is a fun book with some jokes I have not heard. It is cleverly done and I love the ending. The illustrations are spot on and pleasing to look at as well as bring children into the story. Some of the jokes had me laughing. I think that this book may start a trend. The jokes within the opening and ending pages were an added bonus. This is a great family book as well as storytime book.
