Three adult half siblings reunite at their celebrity mom’s manor for the holiday season, each looking to figure out their next steps in life. Liz is struggling to follow up her recent workplace success; Birdie can’t stop chasing meaningless flings long enough to have a successful career; and Rafi has recently had his proposal turned down and still has to work with his now ex girlfriend. Each of the siblings works through their own journey as the holidays come rolling in, full steam ahead.
This queer holiday story had great vibes, and Georgia Clark did a great job of really making the characters feel human. There was a plethora of heavy topics covered, which left me wanting a little less going on so that the topics could be covered more in depth. While I did find something to like about each of the siblings (some made it easier than others), it was a bit difficult at times to keep up with three separate storylines. I found that I was gravitating more to Liz’s storyline and just pushing through the other two. Overall, this is a good choice if you’re looking for a queer holiday family rom-com.
Thank you to Georgia Clark, Random House Publishing Group, and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review.

I really liked this story! It felt like the perfect holiday read this year, and really it felt like multiple stories delicately mashed together into one book, and it worked really well for me.
Great characters, and a lovely holiday setting without being toooooo much.
I love how she writes queer joy and resilence, family and purpose... and of course romance. This one is a perfect combo of it all, which makes for what I call a "romance with depth."

Such a cozy read! I was worried that I was going to get overwhelmed, but it found it was so easy to read and follow to story line. Christmas themes are a favorite and she nailed it.

I love how Georgia Clark always has so many character stories going on, and you think you will be overwhelmed, but once you start reading, the stories weave together so well! The characters are easy to connect with and she always represents many queer types in her books, which I love!

As far as holiday romances go, this is definitely the best one I've read! I absolutely loved the dynamics between the characters and really appreciated the queer representation.
As a romance, It was super sweet had the perfect amount of spice. As a holiday read, it *really* got me in the mood for quality time with loved ones, winter hikes, festivities, and cozy nights in ❄️🧦

I love Georgia Clark’s writing style and was so thankful for an advanced copy of Most Wonderful. She always writes such tender, wonderful characters with strong setting development and this book put me in the mood for the holidays. For me, trying to follow the details and specifics of the three siblings/main characters got a little tricky. But loved the premise—-as others have mentioned, it was almost a meshing of The Family Stone and Love Actually.

It was great getting to follow the storyline of all the siblings. I loved how it shifted between the three of them and took time to develop who they were seperately and together. It takes turns I did not expect while still managing to land on a happy ending.

I love an ensemble cast so this queer holiday romance featuring three adult siblings who are all a bit of a hot mess was a book I knew I needed to read. Georgia Clark writes beautiful complex characters with beautiful love stories and so much queer joy, and this book was the perfect holiday read. Most Wonderful is filled with messy characters trying to find their way through life and love, deep moments, and witty banter. I especially loved the relationship between the three siblings and the family dynamics. This book has a hopeful and heart-warming undertone to it.
Thank you to Random House Publishing and NetGallet for the advance copy.

This was a really fun, easy Christmastime read. I had to suspend a little disbelief that all three siblings in the family were queer, but it happens! I loved the family dynamic, the cozy inn setting, and of course the love stories. Birdie was a little bit hard to love at times, but her growth was rewarding and the Liz/Violet and Rafi/Ash stories were so lovely. All in all, a sweet and fun read for the most wonderful time of the year! Georgia Clark is always funny and I really enjoy her writing style.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I really like the character heavy stories Georgia Clark writes, but I got bored listening to the day to day of the Belvedere siblings. I think this was a little too long for my liking.

Thank you to Netgalley, Random House, and PRHA for a copy provided for an honest review.
This is my third read by this author. Unfortunately, it was my least favorite, but I think it’s a me problem. This book follows three siblings as they navigate their personal and professional lives, most of which are chaotic and messy whether successful or not. I switched between the ebook and the audiobook. The audiobook has a narrator for each of the siblings including Patti Murin, Kristen Sieh, and Shawn K Jain. I enjoyed having a full cast narration and thought they did a fantastic job with the siblings.
Liz is the oldest and has the reputation for being organized and put together. She has a new hit TV show based on the Sweet Valley High books and is suffering writer’s block coming up with ideas for season 2. Plus, she has a crush on the show’s star, Violet Grace. I loved hearing her brainstorm ideas for the second season. I probably related to this storyline more than the others.
Birdie had a hit stand-up comedy special but is also having problems coming up with new material, so she drinks and carouses wasting the few recent opportunities coming her way. She manages to insult a local artist then in true romance novel fashion does her best to make up for it.
The youngest, Rafi, has his heart broken in front of the entire company at the office holiday party. This story really dated me especially when one of the characters alluded to 28 being too young for serious relationships. Retreating home to lick his wounds, he is surprised to spend some time over the holidays with an old crush.
All three siblings convene at their mother’s Catskills manor for the holidays. There’s an exploration of siblings relationships as well as their different roles in the family. They all have different fathers and their mother is a famous actress with an interesting take on life. While I enjoyed some of the holiday shenanigans, I think domestic drama lovers would enjoy this story more than me.

I absolutely loved this book! It was the perfect holiday read in my opinion, and if you’re like me and can never finish your Christmas books before Christmas, this book is also great because it goes up until New Years! I thought that the festive vibes were great and that the story had a lot of depth to it. The characters were very well developed, there were 3 different POVs, but I didn’t feel like any of them were less important or interesting than the others. I thought each character’s individual storyline was unique and that each one of them showed real growth from the beginning to the end. The romances were also very well done, they each had their different tropes and they each had spicy scenes which I felt were nice additions to the story, as opposed to being included just because. Overall I really connected with each of the main characters and their stories and felt that their individual romance storylines come together well to make a cohesive and entertaining holiday novel! 5 stars from me for sure!

Thank you, Net Galley, Dial Press Publishing and Georgia Clark, for this ARC.
A perfect holiday book with a lot of heart, love and queerness. I enjoyed the different POVs and how it switched throughout the novel. This book is like the warm embrace of the holiday season.

4/5 Star Christmas Read!
Such a sweet Christmas Romance!! As she said... Gay with a Capital G & I LOVED IT!! I felt like the timeline of the story was very predictable, but it rounded together very nicely in the end. I really enjoyed the different ways characters dialogue and thoughts were depicted- I could feel the differences in their personalities and it connected me more to the story. These characters were so relatable! Everyone is imperfect and a bit more "hot mess" than put together. There were a few times when I got so much secondhand embarrassment I had to slow down- but that just shows how connective the story is! It was very refreshing. The setting was so romantic and picturesque for “Christmas time in New York” I really enjoyed this read and I really enjoyed reading it during the Holidays!
Thank you, again!

Such a perfect book to read around the holidays. its like Christmas in a jar. it was so romantic and fun.

I wasn't able to pick this one up this past holiday season with unexpected chaos in my life, but I am excited to get to it next holiday season!

This book started off very promising for me -- I loved the premise of three queer siblings headed home for the holidays. Where it fell apart for me was the execution. I don't think there was enough time spent on each character's story, and would have preferred one POV instead of three. I thought it was cute overall and would read another book from the author.

A great cast of characters!!
My first Georgia Clark story, definitely not my last! This was so charming! My thanks to Netgalley & Random House Publishing Group.

A cute, romantic holiday book. It took me a little bit to get into it. But if you want a fun christmasy read... this is a good one.

I was enjoying this a lot in the beginning but it started dragging a bit half way through. I felt like this made it difficult for me to stay fully engaged in the story & deeply care about the character arcs in the second half of the book. Also, if you truly detest 3rd act breakups I would not recommend this one because unfortunately, you’ll get hit with with more than one of them 😂
I did however really love the relationship between the three siblings & the multiple storylines/getting to hop around from sibling to sibling. Not to mention, what the absolutely amazing LGBTQ representation 👏🏻👏🏻
I’d say this is a solid cozy holiday read, it could’ve maybe been a little shorter, but overall I still enjoyed it! Thank you NetGalley & Random House Publishing for this ARC!
