This book delivers the perfect mix of sizzling chemistry, emotional depth, and compelling character growth. Hunter and Natalia’s story starts at their best friends’ wedding, where flirtatious, carefree Hunter meets strong willed, no nonsense Natalia. From the beginning, their dynamic crackles with tension. Hunter is used to charming his way through life, but Natalia isn’t easily swayed.
Natalia’s journey as a divorced woman raising her 15-year-old stepdaughter adds layers of depth to her character. She’s independent, protective, and carrying the weight of a difficult past, especially with her ex-husband in jail. Meanwhile, Hunter, who is running from his own demons, has a future he refuses to face. Watching these two navigate their undeniable attraction while confronting their personal struggles makes for a moving and heartwarming read.
Vi Keeland does a fantastic job balancing steamy moments with raw, real emotions. Hunter and Natalia’s romance isn’t just about attraction, it’s about healing, trust, and finding love when you least expect it. If you love a story with complex characters, deep emotions, and a hero who has to prove he’s more than his reputation, this book is definitely worth the read!

A wedding one night stand turned into something more. Natalia meets Hunter and the sparks fly.
A fun quick read, and you have to give it to Hunter, he was dedicated to chasing Natalia but that also was what drew me out of the story a bit. A one night stand made him obsessed enough to chase after her? Especially when she left in the morning *and* gave a fake number due to past issues with love. Most would take a hint and not chase, but not Hunter. He sees her and runs to her...until he remembers his past and possible health issues and suddenly its all breaks. For someone who chased after someone across the country it felt a bit odd to suddenly be like "oh wait. no."
Thankfully they each work through things in the end for a HEA.
Honestly, I didn't really care one way or another about Natalia or Hunter overly much, but I did enjoy Hunter's past POV chapters along with anytime Natalia's family was on the page.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tor Publishing for the arc.

I had mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, I enjoyed it, but on the other, some parts didn’t feel realistic. Hunter didn’t take the hint early on, which made his actions hard to believe (I won’t share much). He also knew how vulnerable Nat was, yet his choices—and her expectations—were frustrating. Still, I was intrigued enough to keep reading and uncover the answers behind the why.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tor publishing group for providing an advanced reader’s copy 🤎

Started off fun and flirty and ended up with something deep and beautiful! I really the journey with Hunter and Nat and their hurts and how their love healed them. Really enjoyed the side characters as well! X

This was my first Vi Keeland book and I enjoy it. I was given the ebook and audio to listen along with. The plot was excellent, the spice was spicing and the suspense thrown in there was perfect! I can't believe this book came out in 2017 and 8 years later being renamed! I'm sure it's going to be amazing again under this new title.
Thank you also, hambright pr, Vi Keeland for both ebook and Audio.

4 Star Review Something Borrowed Something You by Vi Keeland
This is Hunter Delucia and Natalia Rossi’s second chance at love story.
From the moment their eyes met across the aisle, these
two had a connection. The sparks flew and the chemistry sizzled.
This is not my favourite book from Ms. Keeland as I had a hard time connecting to the main characters. There was something about them that I can’t put my finger on.
Both Hunter and Natalia had issues that they needed to face. They were complete opposites and yet they worked.
It was well written and ticked numerous boxes for me.

Something Borrowed, Something You by Vi Keeland is a slow-burn, swoony romance with all the makings of a book I should’ve loved. I’m a big fan of Vi’s books—they usually deliver on chemistry, banter, and a solid emotional pull. But this one just didn’t quite hit the way I hoped it would.
The story follows Hunter and Natalia, who meet at their best friends' wedding. The chemistry between them is instant, and they decide on a no-strings-attached fling. But of course, life isn’t that simple. Both have complicated pasts that bring baggage into their relationship—Natalia is fresh off a painful divorce and navigating a difficult relationship with her stepdaughter, while Hunter… well, Hunter doesn’t always make the best decisions.
I’ll be honest, Hunter was my biggest frustration in this story. His inability to act like an adult and have real, meaningful conversations was infuriating at times. Especially when Natalia was upfront about her fears and emotional walls. She had every reason to be cautious, and I felt like she deserved someone who was willing to match her vulnerability and honesty. Instead, Hunter played the typical “charming bad boy” a little too hard for my taste.
That said, the story wasn’t all bad. Vi’s writing is as engaging as ever, and there were definitely moments that made me smile and root for these two to figure it out. The chemistry is there, the slow burn is satisfying, and the banter has its moments. I just kept waiting for more. A little more depth, a little more emotional payoff—something to really push this story over the edge.
In the end, Something Borrowed, Something You was an enjoyable read, even if it didn’t become a new favorite. If you’re a fan of Vi Keeland, you’ll probably still have fun with it. Just go in knowing it’s not quite on the same level as some of her best.

Vi Keeland can literally do no wrong when it comes to writing romance. She will legitimately ALWAYS put out a solid read. This book was originally released as s*x, not love, and had a different cover and everything, but this revamp made it 100 x better.
Natalia meets Hunter at her best friend's wedding. They are INSTANTLY attracted to each other, but Natalia is going through A LOT. But then they keep meeting, over and over again. Makes sense when their friends are together. The slow burn was really slow on this one, but SO worth it in the end.
Please read this if you like:
*instalust
*slowburn
*past trauma
*strong chemistry
Thank you to Vi Keeland and Netgalley for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Something Borrowed, Something You is Hunter Delucia and Natalia Rossi’s slow burn and emotional romance.
From the moment they meet at a friend’s wedding sparks fly and a connection is made but he only wants a little wedding fun……
So can playboy Hunter and Natalia move past their fear of commitment and give love a chance.
This is a well written emotional and touching journey and I was captivated from the first page to the last line.

My ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. These characters have been through a lot of heartbreak by the time they meet each other and aren’t looking for anything serious. So of course, they start something despite knowing they won’t be able to walk away unscathed but that their time together will be brief.

This book was an easy, enjoyable read with incredible chemistry between the main characters. From their very first interaction, the tension between them was off the charts, and I was completely invested in seeing how their relationship would unfold. The banter was fun, the attraction was palpable, and the emotional pull was strong enough to keep me hooked.
That said, I found the central conflict frustrating. The MMC continuously pushes the FMC away instead of being upfront about what’s holding him back. While I understand why the book needed this obstacle to exist, it felt like something that could have been resolved much earlier with honesty, which made parts of the story a bit frustrating to read.
Even with that, I still really enjoyed this book. The writing is engaging, the pacing moves quickly, and the romance delivers on all the tension and angst I was hoping for. While it didn’t break new ground and probably won’t be a book that stays with me long-term, it was exactly what I wanted in the moment—a well-written, chemistry-filled romance that kept me turning pages.
A solid 4 stars for an entertaining and compelling read.

2.5 STARS
"Something Borrowed , Something You" by Vi Keeland offers a swoony romance that blends humor, heat, and heartache, but ultimately left me with a sense of something missing. The story centers around Natalia and Hunter, whose first meeting at a wedding sets the stage for an unexpected connection. From the start, there's undeniable chemistry between them, and despite a few awkward encounters, they eventually give in to their mutual attraction. Hunter’s blunt, dirty talk is meant to be off-putting, but for Natalia, it’s strangely irresistible, and they find themselves spending a passionate night together. However, Natalia walks away, leaving him with the wrong number, only to be reunited with him a year later.
This time, Hunter is determined to make things right, even if it means winning over her protective mother and asking for a real chance at love.
Their romance is steamy and full of tension, and there’s plenty of humor and fun to lighten the mood.
The premise of a no-strings-attached arrangement while Hunter is in town adds a layer of intrigue, especially with the baggage both characters carry.
The chemistry between them is palpable, and the steamy moments are well written, but the deeper emotional connection didn’t fully resonate with me. Hunter and Natalia both have their pasts to work through, and while their individual struggles are relatable, I felt like the emotional weight didn’t hit as hard as I expected. There were moments when the humor and banter took center stage, and I found myself enjoying those, but it left me feeling like the more vulnerable, heartfelt moments weren’t explored enough.
Overall, "Something Borrowed, Something You* is an enjoyable read, but not one that completely swept me off my feet. I liked the premise, the characters were likable, and the romance had its moments, but it never quite reached the level of emotional depth I was hoping for. Fans of Vi Keeland’s style will likely find plenty to enjoy here, but for me, it was just okay.

Something Borrowed, Something You is the perfect mix of sizzling chemistry, witty banter, and unexpected emotion.
Hunter Delucia is the kind of hero who is impossible to resist—cocky, gorgeous, and completely determined. His intense connection with the heroine starts with a steamy wedding night encounter and only grows stronger when fate throws them back together. What begins as an eight-week no-strings-attached fling quickly turns into something much more complicated, leading to plenty of tension, drama, and heartfelt moments.
The push-and-pull dynamic kept me hooked, and the witty dialogue made the characters feel real and engaging. While some of the conflict felt a bit drawn out, the emotional depth and undeniable chemistry made up for it.
If you love steamy, slow-burn romances with strong-willed characters and a touch of angst, Something Borrowed, Something You is a must-read! 🔥💘✨

Vi Keeland is author who books you read as a palette cleanser or when you want to quick romance that comes with a little bit spice.
I really enjoyed reading this book. While I did find Natalia (our fmc) and little bit annoying at time I did see some growth in her. Hunter (mmc) had some shortcomings too.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read a complimentary copy of this book all thoughts are my own.

To say Natalia has a lot going on is an understatement. So, when she’s talking to her best friend about wanting to hook up with some she doesn’t expect anyone to overhear especially not Hunter Delucia, a dangerously good looking man with a blunt and flirty personality that can dish it out just as well as she can, but she’s sworn off men that make her feel out of control and Natalia knows he’s bad news, so after giving him a fake number (twice) she thinks he’ll finally get the hint and move on, but when he is relocated located to her city for a short amount of time he offers a no strings attached relationship so they can both get over this build up tension between each other. With both understanding that this relationship has an end date, what could go wrong?
I really enjoyed this book, the writing was solid, the characters were well developed, I loved that the author gave us time to get to know our FMC individually before getting into a romantic relationship, and building the FMC and MMC from strangers, friends to lovers and growing to more.
To say Natalia has a lot going on would be an understatement (don’t want to say why as I don’t want to give away any spoilers) it explains why she’s standoffish and guarded with her feelings and why she’s avoided dating guys that have trouble writing all over them and Hunter is trouble walking. The way she handles everything that is going on in her life and given that she has many responsibilities the way she prioritizes everything is the kind of FMC I love to see.
Hunter, my goodness has had a lot going on as well (emotionally), I love the fact that we learn about his past throughout the book with flashbacks, and while I’m not a big fan of jumping from the past to the present timelines I appreciated that the chapters are short. The flashbacks give the reader an understanding of why he’s so guarded and explains his justification of wanting to only be in a no strings-attached relationship with our FMC. (I thought I knew why but this book throws you off balance)
Overall, this book creates a well-built romance with enough tension and longing from both characters wanting more, but both have been burned in the past and scared of the future to fight for more than what was agreed. While I would recommend this book to anyone, I would say please check for trigger warnings.
Solid 4 stars
Thank you NetGalley and Tor Publishing Group | Bramble for an eARC in exchange for an honest review

I received a copy from the publisher via Netgalley for an honest review.
This novel makes you go through so many emotions, not only as an observer of this story, but even as the characters going through everything! I spoke out loud multiple times saying, good for you, when one character sets another straight. This love story was beautiful, powerful, scary and sad and hopeful in so many ways. This truly was such a wonderful story and I am excited to see what else this author has to offer!

Thank you, TPG/Bramble, for gifting me this eARC via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinions. Californian Hunter DeLucia and New Yorker Natalia Rossi meet at a mutual friend's wedding and they share a fun night together, but Natalia ends up leaving him the wrong number, so she never expected to see or hear from him again. One year later, they're face-to-face for a second time and Natalia tries to scare Hunter off again by giving him her mother's number (because if anyone can scare off a guy, it's your Italian mother, ha!). Well, because Hunter's a cocky, confident alpha male with sweetheart vibes, he doesn't give up and surprises Natalia by showing up at her mother's house for dinner. Hunter then proposes a "no-strings-attached" arrangement and Natalia eventually agrees because she just can't seem to get Hunter out of her head. Little d0 either of them know, feelings have this sneaky way of worming their way into the arrangement. I loved the chemistry between these two characters and that time didn't dull their attraction to each other - the romantic tension and spice was chef's kiss! The storyline moved well and I thought the glimpses into Hunter's complicated past made me fall more in love with his character as I kept reading. The epilogue had me in tears...in a good way! Vi Keeland has quickly become one of my favorite romance authors and I can't wait for this book to come out so I can grab a physical copy with those blue sprayed edges.

I received this as an arc from @netgalley ! First off any book with a male charge who is cocky and all about himself, I am here for! The attraction between Natalia and Hunter was amazing and thickkkk! The cat and mouse game was fun at first but it started getting a little overdone. I know Natalia was trying to keep herself from falling for the same old cocky guys, like her ex-husband who really screwed her but it was a lot of inner dialogue. Theresa were some parts that dragged on but Hunter’s back story of why he never could commit made a lot of sense and one I haven’t really come across before in a book! It was a quick cute read.

3 stars.
Enjoyable but not something that will be memorable to me after a few months. I also feel like this story had some many unanswered questions.

A tender and emotional romance that captivates from start to finish. The characters have incredible depth, making their love story feel raw and authentic. Vi’s writing delivers a punch of passion, healing, and connection. A must-read for romance lovers and another gorgeous addition from Bramble!
