I started this book when I went to bed, and just HAD to finish it!
Gripping? Is that a strong enough word?
Twisty? Oh, yes! Definitely twisty. But I would never have predicted that final twist.
The suspense is intense, and I tore through the pages.

I definitely want to read more books by this author. She unquestionably knows how to transfix her readers!

So this story was a fast paced and a page turner, for sure. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wanting to know what happens next.

I love reading books by A.J. Campbell and this book was really gripping, it had amazing twists and turns that kept me hooked

Michael has a history of keeping secrets. What if he dies? Very soon, Christina begins getting blackmailed for a great deal of money. This book is a roller coaster ride! Ok just WOW! My second AJ Campbell book and I can’t auto read more. And the characters! Some I loved and some I love to hate. This book had all the feels. So dark and creepy. It was so hard to know who to trust and I totally did not see that ending coming! Packed with tension, emotions, secrets and lies. Expertly woven.

I kept hoping she did not kill her husband. Did she? Was it a deer? Was it her son? A stranger? This talented author used red herrings and secrets to keep me guessing almost to the end...and then...I kept wondering if what happened really happened. Realistic characters, most of them were realistic, kept this novel moving quickly. I did not want to put this book down until the last page and then...I thought about a sequel...another story about the people in this book...and that is who they were...people more than just characters...imagine this book made into a movie. Thanks Netgalley.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and I was far from disappointed.

This was a mind bending twist that had me on the edge of my seat with each page that was flipped 😱 Did she really do it? I just wanted to know! The more I read, the more I needed to know. As I got closer to the end, my jaw was stuck; dropped to the floor! I can't even 🤯 Lies, deceit, and betrayal 😮

Like many thrillers, I get hooked. But this was an absolute thrill ride 👏🏼 AJ Campbell ( @ajcampbellauthor ) kept me going, had me losing sleep and begging for more!

This was a page-turner from the very first chapter. It only took a few hours to read the entire book since it was hard to put down! It was an edge-of-your-seat read from start to finish with an ending I never saw coming! It had lots of twists that kept me interested, and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next – each chapter kept me wanting to read the next one!
This is definitely a must-read if you like nonstop twists and turns!
