This book sounded like Downton Abbey = but with mystery, drama, and secrets. I had to read it, and I am so glad I did. I was hooked from the very first page and loved following the twists and turns as secrets and jealousies were revealed both upstairs and downstairs. Charlotte is a very relatable character, and I really rooted for her to be able to escape the pull Tyringham Park had over her - but does she escape? Does she find happiness? Do we find out what really happened that one night when her little sister disappeared? You will have to read to find out and you won't be sorry!

I couldn't really get through this one, though I'm sure it's someone's cup of tea. the writing was just a little too trite and the plot not that interesting to me.
