Amazing twist and turns! You never know what is around the corner. Fully did not suspect the ending.

I had the pleasure of reading The Boyfriend as an ARC. All I can say is FEIDA HAS DONE IT AGAIN!! This book grabbed me from the very first page and kept me entertained THE WHOLE TIME! I really connected with the main character and felt for her at times. The twist like always MADE MY HEAD SPIN! My jaw was on the floor! (Of course it IS Freida we’re talking about) If you don’t already have this on preorder GO DO IT NOW! This is not one you want to miss! 5 ⭐️

Frieda never disappoints. I spent the entire novel truly unsure of who did what, and when it was revealed, my jaw DROPPED. every chapter revealed a little more and more, and the dual timeline was a nice addition to the details. I was absolutely shook when everything came together. You literally cannot trust anyone in her books. Frieda is always so good at twists and turns and keeping you on your toes. This book had a good plot, some good humor, and good characters. Everything you think, is always a lie with her books. Nothing is as it seems, and once again, Frieda knocked it out of the park.

I loved this book. The characters and storyline gave real situations and suspense in the way you’d expect. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characters within. The plot twists were great and another book for the shelf. Blessed to have the chance for an early read on this one. I already have a signed copy on the way for my collection. Thanks again Freida for your wonderful work. You do not disappoint. ❤️

This story will be a HUGE TALK! it is one of my all time favorites! It’s thrilling and always had me on the edge of my seat! It’s a story I will read over and over!!!

Freida did it again! This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and in the best way possible. The main character was very easy to relate with, which makes the book flow so well. And I thought I had the plot twist figured out (because we KNOW she’s the queen of plot twists) but boyyy was I WRONG! When I say my jaw dropped… it dropped! I do wish there was a little bit more of an explanation to a certain character leaving after the plot twist but that’s my only “negative” thing about this book. Love love!

As usual, I love Freida's books. However, this one felt a bit more juvenile than the others. The story line was great and in usual freida fashion...you don't have it figured out. But it felt rushed. I think with a bit more time it could have been better but even so I consumed this book like my life depended on it. Solid 4 stars from me and I can't wait to read what's next!

As a someone who has read most of her books this book has pretty good grasp of her writing style and this one was truly one of the best books I had read. I read this book in one sitting and I absolutely love it 100%

I was thrilled to own a copy of this book! I read it in only a few days, I just couldn’t put it down. This is one of the things about Freida’s books I love, they’re unputdownable. The Boyfriend didn’t disappoint in the twist category either. Shes one of my favorite writers.

All I can say is, wow. This book is unbecredifabulous (you'll get this reference when you read it). The twists are so unexpected. I thought I'd figured it out around halfway through, and I could not have been more wrong.

The writing in this book is incredible. It is an enjoyable read that has you second-guessing yourself at every moment. The ending was so unexpected.

I loved this book and would recommend it to all thriller readers. I could not put it down.

This book was such a great read. I am not surprised as this is a Freida McFadden story. I thought I had figured it all out early on but I should have known better. Freida got me again. I absolutely recommend this book. It is probably one of her best books by far.

I honestly went into to this blind. Other than it being a Freida (which all books are amazing) I had no idea what this was about. I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. I thought I had this figured out multiple times…..well I was wrong 🤣

The storyline follows two different POV's in two different timeline. The twists and turns keep you guessing the entire book! I tried to think like Freida but still didn't guess correctly....she did it again!

Freida does it again! My first time with an ebook and I couldn’t put it down. I was literally reading in 2 minute chunks between meetings, at the drive thru, etc. I loved that the chapters switch from past to present day and I enjoyed the full suite of characters and potential victims/suspects. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy, intriguing, twisty read.

Frieda has done it again! This book was amazing and I am so happy and lucky I was chosen to read the early ARC copy! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to. Just when I thought I had it figured out she threw another curveball and I was like omg! Mouth on the floor! This is a 5 star read and I also preordered this book as well. Thank you again Frieda!
