Im telling you right now, you don’t have it figured out. You might think you do, but trust me you don’t! This one is a little more gory and detailed than her others and I personally loved it.

Sydney is getting older and looking for the perfect man to settle down with, here comes Tom he’s perfect in every way possible…or is he? He’s a doctor, handsome, and the perfect gentleman. Sydney falls head over heels for Tom, but some things just don’t add up.

Sydney should feel like she is in the relationship of her dreams, she can finally settle down and maybe even start a family of her own. But things take a terrible turn. Someone’s watching her every move, can she figure it out before she’s the next victim? Stay tuned and find out!

Really enjoyed it but not my favorite Frieda book. I found the characters extremely unlikeable and the plot was slow, which isn’t normal with Frieda’s past books. I give it 3⭐️

Perfect boyfriend or murderer? I like this thriller much better than McFadden’s previous books. It will keep you up at night guessing, and when you think you’ve got it figured out, it turns out you did not.

Freida McFadden has done it again! Hooked me with the first few pages of The Boyfriend. Sydney is just like any other single 30 something woman in NYC, looking for her Mr. Right. Tired of dating losers online Sydney resigns herself to just be single.
Coming home from a terrible date, Sydney and Toms paths cross. Tom is everything Sydney is looking for, and more, or is he?!
Just when I thought I had it figured out, Freida threw in a couple twists and I never saw the ending coming! I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Wow! I thought I knew where this story was going but I was wrong. Freida always has multiple twists in her books. This book had multiple POVs and so many characters. The character dynamics and suspense will keep you wanting more.

Wow! One of my favorite Freida McFadden books! I really enjoyed this book & the time jumps. Sydney got annoying on occasion, but McFadden kept me guessing most of the way through the book.

Ms. Freida you did it again! The whole story was very interesting and you would want to keep reading chapter after chapter to find all the answers to the questions going all in your head. You think you figured it out and try to put the pieces together until once again you were wrong. 10 out 10, keep them coming Ms. Freida!

By far my favorite Freida McFadden book!! I was completely lost in a good way. It was not predictable at all. The characters, the back and forth in the timeline, all of it was perfectly executed. I don’t even want to give a summary for fear of giving away a clue. So good. Just read it already!

I was drawn in from the first page. Sydney and her friends are using a popular dating app to meet guys. But is it safe? When one of them is murdered Sydney is determined to find out who did it. If you're like me then you will absolutely think you have it figured out. Even though I was thoroughly enjoying the book I was patting myself on the back because I knew who would be revealed as the killer. I was SO wrong!! I can really see this book having a sequel and I really hope it does. I see more in Sydney's future.

It had a good twist that I didn't see coming because I was distracted with my own theories.

I thought that Tom was actually Slug, and that Slug stole his identity OR that Slug was Randy. I was wrong. I didn't like being wrong, but I liked the twist. However, I didn't like the ending. I honestly expected more of Tom.

Thrilling, chilling, whodunit, with twists and turns you do not see coming. And I mean you DO NOT see coming! Freida will keep you on the literal edge of your seat. Get ready for a wild ride!

This one was an ARC from @fmcfaddenauthor and @poisonedpenpress I gave this one 4⭐️I guessed one of the twists but the other one I didn’t see at all. I tried really hard this whole book to “think like Freida” and I still couldn’t guess it all! This one was really good. Would definitely recommend

Freida did it again! If you think you know what is going to happen you probably do not! I love her books because they are easy to read, they keep you guessing, and I can usually finish them in one or two sittings. She does not disappoint!

Freida McFadden delivers again with "The Boyfriend"! This thriller is a page-turner that I couldn't put down. Perfect if you need a reason to glue yourself to a comfy chair for the evening. The plot twists are classic McFadden – you'll be guessing until the very end. ( You don't have it figured out ) If you like suspense and a fast-paced story, "The Boyfriend" is a great choice!

I read this book in one day, it was THAT good. I couldn’t put it down. The infamous Freida “twist” in The Boyfriend had my jaw on the floor! I didn’t see it coming. It was incredibly engaging and had me guessing until the very end. I found myself attached to the characters, excited to know how their story would end. Freida has done it again, of course. Dare I say, one of her best? I can’t recommend this book enough!!

Absolutely amazing! I could barely put it down. I loved the twist and was absolutely blown away by the ending. I think this is my favorite book yet!

I was so fortunate to receive an ARC copy of this to read. As a huge Freida fan, it was truly exceptional! I've read tons of Freida books, and I always think (even knowing how FM writes) that I have it figured out, but she has this way of twisting that is like no other. Expect the unexpected - and it was, the twist at the end had my jaw on the ground. She has a way to pull you in and not want to put the book down!
