Freida, you have done it again.

favorite Freida book I have ever read. And I have read them all. Freida never disappoints. She will ensure that I do not do laundry, wash clothes, or mop my floors because her books trap me in the first page. Of course I thought I had the twist figured out, but I was so wrong. I can’t wait for the Crash’s release early next year!

As always, I was wrong. Mid ending I reread several portions of the beginning introductions of the characters to figure out if I was right. Nope. Freida got me again. I was mad. But when I finished the final pages I felt like I got the ending we all deserved (Even if it wasn’t the one we expected).

I appreciated the medic references and knowing I’m not being led down a wrong path.. because Freida knows.

I was so excited to receive this ARC and cannot wait to hear more from other readers about what they thought.

The Boyfriend is now my all time favorite book! This book has a strong start and continued on with so many twists and turns! It had me on the edge of my seat with every turn of each page. You will definitely want to grab a copy when it releases on October 1! You won’t regret it!

I loved this book! Just when I thought I had figured it out I was wrong. It kept my attention from page 1 and I could not wait to finish it! Bravo Freida McFadden!

The pacing on this book is superb. I love the back and forth between the different characters and time frames. It is a very enjoyable book that you don't want to put down.

The only reason this book was 4 stars instead of 5 for me is because I figured out the twist halfway through, and wasn't shocked. But it was still a very fun read.

I could not put this book down!! I never saw the twists coming and they kept on coming until the very end!! Freida fans will love this fast paced thriller, which I devoured in one sitting!

Freida threw in a bit of humor, romance, and suspense. She always keeps me coming back for more, this book was no exception. I'm addicted! I love that she always invites us into the character's inner thoughts.

Sydney has terrible luck dating, until she unexpectedly comes across her perfect guy. Nothing with Freida is ever straight forward though, so buckle up for the ride.

Another psychological thriller in the authors well known style and voice.
We have characters in the before, and different ones in the present, it’s great to see how the threads both unravel and come together. As always I never predicted the ending.
As always a quick easy enjoyable entertaining read, never overly dark or gritty, although dark themes are explored. The author strikes a balance to be able to appeal to a wide range of readers both in taste and age.

Freida McFadden's latest work is a testament to her masterful storytelling, keeping readers engaged and guessing until the very end. The author's skillful incorporation of unexpected twists is truly impressive. The dual timeline approach adds to the suspense, making it a page-turner. The surprising conclusion will leave readers feeling like what the heck did I just read. This exceptional read has earned a well-deserved 5-star rating!

Great twist I thought I had figured out, but I was so wrong. Characters and story are well developed. Elements fit well together and the final punch is a good one.

Another Frieda page-turner! Just when you think you have it figured out… you don’t! Another one of her can’t-put-down thrillers that introduces you to characters and their lives with plenty of twists and turns you never expected.

Just finished reading “The Boyfriend” and it was “Unbecredifabulous”! When I thought I knew, I didn’t. Then when I finally figured it out, it turns out I was wrong again! But then FINALLY, I figured it out. Ope.. wait. Nope, yet ANOTHER twist! Wow Freida McFadden! You knocked this one outta the park!

This book had me hooked from the start. I loved seeing it from two different perspective. The whole time, I thought I had it it figured out but was so wrong! I was not expecting the ending at all. I love Freidas writing style and how I am never bored!

Freida has done it again! I received this as an ARC and let me tell you—it did not disappoint! All the twists you never expected, and yet it all made sense and you see the clues when it’s all tied together.

Frieda has done it again! She made you question all the characters and whether they are guilty of murder or guilty of stupidity! Even when I was sure I had some of the twists figured out, there was still more! The story was fun and fast paced. Very small spice but nothing really described.

Frieda McFadden writes the kind of book you don't need to think about before diving into. The way her story sucks you in and keeps you guessing is why, once discovered, her fans can't wait to read more. The Boyfriend was just as entertaining and twisty as the rest--and even better than The Coworker.

In Frieda fashion the twists kept coming. When you think you have something figured out there’s another twist that says sike! I did feel like a couple details were predictable but it was still a great book with a surprising twist at the end!

The Boyfriend is a great mystery suspense book. It has mystery, suspense, friendships, and romance. It is a fast paced read and It keeps you guessing until the very end. I read it in two days. It had a lot of surprising and shocking twist in it too. It is my third book of Freida McFadden’s I have read so far and I am looking forward to reading more of her books.
