Well, what an introduction to K. Bromberg!! This was a story of lies and deception, a revenge plot with a sexy edge, an intriguing page turner that kept me guessing…and, discussing potential plot twist with friends because this doozy is a cliffhanger of the best sort!

In the small town of Westmore, the Rothschild name is untouchable, the standard for high society living but, Rowan Rothschild wants nothing to do with that life. Her goal is to make TinSpirits, her family’s business, into the successful company she knows it can be. But her family and societal expectations have kept her in the background, unable to be a major player at the table, until now. However, that seat comes with some strings, subterfuge, and a seriously infuriating man…one that’s out for revenge.

Holden Knight, you are one very endearing alpha-hole, with some questionable tactics, and a soft center for dear Rowan! Rowan, you are one badass woman who holds her own with this man using your business acumen AND smart mouth!

I loved Holden & Rowan! When two intelligent, strong-willed characters get together, there is something addicting about their interactions. The push & pull of their desires vs. their dreams of getting what they want has an edgy quality that builds the tension in a way that keeps you captive! Holden’s character was cut-throat and conniving, leaving you to think he is single minded in focus but, when Rowan upends his plans, his appreciation for her strength and drive was evident. Yes, he thought she was sexy, beautiful, and captivating but, my favorite part was his support for her goals to make something of the company she so desperately wants to succeed.

Without giving much away, Twisted Knight has chapters from the past that shed light on the contentious history of these characters & slowly starts to uncover the truth of Holden’s intentions and the “why” behind it, giving some angst and heartache to the storyline.

But just when you think you have it all figured out, K. Bromberg shakes it up and ends it! I can’t wait to read the next book because I NEED to know what happens!

Twisted Knight by K. Bromberg, is the first book in the Tangled Hearts Series, Rowan Rothschild is the daughter of a renowned family in Westmore society, but that doesn't matter to her, she misses her grandmother and she hopes to little by little do what is necessary to have a more important role in her family's company, TinSpirits, and lead it back to being a prosperous company, since her brother, who has been in charge of the company, has done little, and slowly bleeding out the company, but it's difficult when she is considered only the face of the company and her parents only want to marry her because that is supposed to be the place of women in the society where they live. One night during a charity gala, a man who everyone talks about arrives and shows that he has more money than sense by buying a painting at the auction, thus eclipsing her brother, so she approaches him to try to find out who is the guy and what his intentions are but he is cold, only paying her a little attention when he finds out her last name, but she can't find out anything about him, only a few days later she finds him at a meeting at her company where she finds out that this man is getting the majority of TinSpirits shares thanks to an agreement with her brother. Holden Knight is back in Westmore to finally carry out the revenge he has always wanted, but he didn't count on Rowan stealing his attention, she is strong and passionate about what was her family's company, but even that does not prevent him from taking charge and putting into motion what he has been preparing. But when they begin to work together, will the undeniable attraction that exists between them derail him from his purpose or could Holden just be a master manipulator in which his revenge is stronger than what Rowan makes him feel? We will have to wait for the next book so that this and many other questions are answered.
This story is so so so good, it contains drama, intrigue, angst, the occasional moment of laughter and definitely a lot of passion and sensuality, we will have to wait to see if true love comes. This story will catch you and you won't be able to let go until you reach the end and when you get there you want more!!!! I urgently need the next book! I'm so invested in this story and these characters. Miss Bromberg once again leaves me amazed with the stories she creates. I will be very attentive to what is to come. Totally, Absolutely and Completely Recommended!!!

It took me a bit to get into this book, which makes more sense now that I’ve finished it and know it isn’t a standalone (kind of missed that it was the start of a series when I started it). I did enjoy the story once I got into the book and I’m excited to see what happens with Holden and Rowan. I do wish a little more of the mystery of what Holden’s plans are had been revealed in this first book. The spicy scenes also could have been a tad spicier and more detailed for me…but overall I liked it a lot and will definitely read the sequels

I have to start this review by saying that it ends in a cliffhanger. Ugh I don’t like cliffhangers. Had I know I would have waited until the next book was out. I was drawn in right off the bat. Rowan’s family is very rich and pretty much runs the town they live in. Her family owns a spirits company that has been passed down over the generations. Rowan wants nothing more than to run it. But her place is getting married and hosting charity events. While her brother was given the ceo position. So for right now she will settle for the marketing position she has been given. She meets Holden at one of the charity events. She has no idea who he is, but he is the talk around the social circles. It isn’t until she goes into work and finds out that her brother just sold majority of the business to Holden. Now she needs to hurry and see if there is a way she can stop the sale from going forward. Holden has done his research and knows everything about everyone. While they know nothing about him. Or the real reason he is in town and just purchased tinspirits. I definitely recommend this book. It’s captivating and will keep you turning the pages. Just note their is a cliffhanger and there is no mention of when the next book will be out.

These two! I love how Rowan doesn’t cower to the men in her life. She is a true badass who knows what she wants and goes for it. And Holden, the man is straight 🔥 and knows exactly what he needs to do get his revenge on the people who didn’t look at him twice when he was younger. I can’t wait to see what happens next! The cliffhanger was epic and I am here for it.

Another book by this author in the bag. I thoroughly enjoyed Twisted Knight from start to finish. The twists and turns in this novel kept me turning page after page as quickly as I could. It was such an enjoyable read, and I loved Holden and Rowan. Twisted Knight is such a wild ride, and I'm excited for what's coming next after that cliffhanger.

Rowan and Holden will keep you glued to their story from start to finish!! Rowen being a killer business women. Always pushing to do more and be seen. Holden coming in strong looking for revenge. You will quickly realize Holden is a strong and powerful man.

This book is absolutely addictive with cat and mouse moves, countermoves and more. The story is very much in the now, but what happened 15 years ago is what motivates for Holden Knight. Exactly what he has planned for years is unknown for much of this book, but he definitely intends to get even. Holden and Rowan have an electric connection and enjoy ratcheting up the sexual tension between them. Eventually that tension turns into some seriously sizzling encounters. Rowan is torn between her attraction to Holden, her loyalty to her family, and her desire to save her family’s company. The story doesn’t end with this first book in the series and I’m eager for the next book to see what happens with Rowan and Holden. I received a free ARC from the author and Valentine PR; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Oh boy now this is a new series I can’t wait for the sequel by K. Bromberg like come on right now lol. Have to say Holden Knight is definitely a mystery not just for Rowan but even to himself. Rowan is definitely a woman that is worthy of going up against him even if it means a lot of hot cat and mouse chasing between them. I loved the most how we see Holdens past and present life come together and what drives him to this family. He definitely has a fight when it comes to Rowan, this is no damsel in distress. Everybody see’s her just for her beauty but boy once she reveals her true self watch out even Holden is unsure what to do. Knowing about his plans and seeing everything turn upside down with one night with Rowan was a turning point for everybody. Holden is a man that knows what he wants and will destroys anyone who gets in his way but never expected Rowan. The chemistry between these two is all hate at first but man K. Bromberg sure knows how to spice things up and the beware there is a cliffhanger which just makes the supense of what Rowan will do next more exciting to come.

THAT CLIFFHANGER THOUGH! How could the author do this to me?? As the book progressed I had the feeling of ‘oh shit, this isn’t going to get wrapped up in one book’. And then I read the authors newsletter about this being a trilogy and was both elated and annoyed at the same time, if that’s possible. I adored this book, however I’m not the most patient when waiting for the next in a series.

When Rowan’s family company is brought by a ruthless billionaire, she vows to put a stop to the sale. Wanting to respect her late grandmother’s wishes of her running the company, Rowan wasn’t prepared for Holden Knight. These pair were the pretty damn hot together, and their chemistry was instantaneous. The barbs they constantly threw at one another built so much sexual tension, that when they eventually broke, it was pretty bloody hot.

Throughout the story, the theme of revenge features quite heavily, and I loved that during the chapters from Holden’s POV, we got to jump back in time to see where his need for revenge stemmed from. And to say I was angry when reading this, you’ll understand why I hate Rhett and Chad so much.

This book definitely features on list of favourites of 2024, I’m literally feral waiting for the second book to be released. When is that again?

This is my first K. Bromberg book and OMG it did not disappoint. I didn’t realize that this book was a part of a series and THE ENDING STOP IT RIGHT NOW! I screamed. literally.

I loved the writing this book, especially the writing for our two main characters Holden and Rowan. Rowan comes from a wealthy family, but her family doesn’t think that she can run the family business so incomes Holden the new CEO which automatically creates the perfect enemies to lovers story. The tension amazing, the banter incredible, the chemistry out of this world. they are perfect together and I was screaming for them to get together so bad throughout the entire book and then the ending hit and I screamed even louder.

this is an incredible book and incredible build up, and I cannot wait for this series to continue. I will be thinking about this book 24 seven now it’s truly amazing and I think anyone who loves enemies to lovers and office romance this book is for you!

Rowan is the face of the family business, she wants to have a more hands on approach when her family would rather her marry and leave the business to her brother. Rowan isn’t going to go down without a fight. Holden is dead set on revenge to make the ones that destroyed his family pay. He gets everything accounted for but the one thing that he didn’t expect was to see Rowan and how much she had changed. The chemistry, connection and heartache were intense. They start of as enemies, but you slowly see them notice that something else is there. This book does end on a cliffhanger that waiting for the next book is going to be torture.

I’m very conflicted about how I feel about this book. My actual enjoyment level was probably around 3 stars, but I rated it 4 stars because I didn’t realize this was a billionaire romance going into it (I generally don’t like billionaire romances). So, that obviously was a big factor to me that I don’t think it’s fair to knock the book for. That being said, this book did deliver on some very fun tropes, including: enemies to lovers, revenge plot, and a secret workplace romance. The romance was fun, the steam was very steamy, and overall this was the kind of book anyone who enjoys billionaire romances would probably love.

Wow what a twist! First this novel does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared !

We have two main characters both pretty much are against the same two people who have ruined there lives. The problem is that our main girl Rowan's family business is involved in revenge and deceit, making it almost impossible to climb to the top which happens to be her dream and even harder when Holden shows up and buys her company and then shows up daily in her life challenging her and pushing her to her limits. The problem is that Holden actually causes her to feel lightening something she never thought she would feel. The bigger problem she might just be a pawn in Holden game of revenge.

It was a very good read, slow burn but man did it burn. Revenge, twist and turns, family drama, death of family members, and spice.

This book is crazy!!! I will admit that it started out slow to me and I almost quit on it, which including putting it down and then picked it back up. I am really glad that I did that. Once I got over the hump and the story got more interesting, I was hooked! I had to see how all it would play out and why Holden was doing what he was doing to Chad and Rhett. Oh and what was his plans with Rowan?
So all this time Holden had a plan of revenge, he wanted to take down the guys who ruined his life. He was from the wrong side of the tracks and honestly was treated like trash from the rich and snobby kids. He got out and was able to make a name for himself. He's got money and now all he wants is to take out the trash. He plays the game so well that you almost think he has a heart. He does know how to wine and dine Rowan though. These two have a passionate connection, which is mostly in private due to her status in the world. He knows how to treat her well.
Rowan is from the Rich and powerful world. Her parents hold status in their world and have a image to uphold. Her brother is the heir and the one in charge but he's also ruining their business and legacy brick by brick. She's not to supposed to work. Her job is to look pretty and marry the right guy but she goes against the normal. She's works with the family business but will never be CEO. She's kinda just held on to it being a dream until Holden.. He challenges her to stand up for herself and speak her mind. He also makes a deal with her but you'll see how that turns out when you read the book.
The book was good and action packed. It will keep you reading until the very end. Even with the ending, it will have you wondering what happens next! It does end on a cliffhanger.
