OMG! What did I just read?! lol I simply didn’t realize this was a cliffhanger! My bad, but THIS BOOK!!!!! It. Was. Amazing. I was wholly consumed by it and didn’t want to leave Rowan’s and Holden’s world.

Rowan is a strong woman who doesn’t live up to society standards. She couldn’t care less. She knows what she wants but those standards have made her voice insignificant. That hasn’t stopped her from learning and growing and fighting for her place in the company. Holden has 1 thing on his mind and it definitely wasn’t Rowan. He’s a force to be reckoned with and extremely secretive. He’s let some of his intentions be known, but he finds himself drawn to Rowan.

Their chemistry was delicious! I liked how he actually saw her. Despite everything going on, he was in her corner. And I loved the way things are revealed to the reader. This was a FANTASTIC book and can’t recommend it enough! But hey Kristy! We need the next book pronto! 🙂

A story full of intrigue, passion, the desire for affirmation and revenge. I was skeptical at first, I thought it would be a classic story about weaknesses, but I was wrong... I can't wait for the sequel! Loved it!

I've loved all of the racing romances K has written, so when I saw she was writing a non-sportsy book I was excited to see what it would be like! An enemies to lovers workplace revenge romance?! GIMME!

The backstory for Holden had me gripped (and very sad at times) and was so interesting to see how it tied into the current story. I loved learning why he was seeking revenge (and on who) and it was a wild ride! I wanted so much strength for Rowan and hate how horribly her family (other than her nan) treat her - yes I want to face kick her brother. How kind of a person she is is really highlighted by all the trash ways she is treated.

The cliffy for this book has me super curious about how this trilogy will continue! I'm sure we’re gonna get sooo much more conflict and drama in book two, whereas this book was a lot of information and set up. Yes it felt long, but I’m totally here trusting K and the process!

What can I say about Twisted Knight….not much because I think this is a book you need to just go in blind and enjoy the ride! Sometimes things aren’t always what them seem and I love when a book keeps me guessing!

It does leave you in a cliffhanger and what a cliffhanger it is! What I can say is I love Kristy’s writing and the Wild ride she takes us on! This book has a little of everything I personally love in a book. You will feel all the emotions and when you finish you won’t be able to stop thinking about these characters!

So if you love a book with lots of twists and turns and one that will keep you up well past your bed time, this book is a must read! I loved it and cannot wait for the next book to release!

Rowan and Holden had me from the very first page. They sucked me in pretty quickly. K. Bromberg has a habit of writing characters that do just that. Rowan has always lived in the shadow of her brother, she’s fought hard to be where she is in the family business and isn’t prepared to be overlooked by him or the mysterious, handsome stranger who is about to turn her world upside down in all kinds of ways. Holden Knight is a self-made billionaire, who is driven by revenge which revolves around a past tragedy. He doesn’t anticipate how much Rowan will get under his skin and how much he’ll love it and she doesn’t anticipate just how much she’ll want him, knowing all the time he’s off limits. These two are seriously good together! It’s an intriguing story with lots of twists and turns and buckle up because there’s a cliffhanger that will have you wondering why just why!!! We can’t help but wonder what’s coming next for Rowan and Holden. I’m sure K. Bromberg won’t disappoint us with book two of the Tangled Hearts series.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This book.... buckle up and hold on tight!!!! I love k. Brombergs work and this book is right up there as an absolute favorite from her. Let's start with Knight. He's the man you love to hate, but soon realize there's more then meets the eye, or is there. He's a fun twisted character that I can't get enough of. I loved Rowan's character. She's a smart, strong willed, take no crap women. I love how she can hold her own in buissness and personal life. When the two of them meet, it's an absolute bomb. The push, pull, tension, banter is amazing. Kristy has a way of telling stories that suck you in. That ending.... buckle up and hold on tight. Things are going to get very interesting!!! Terrific book!!

Rowan was raised in an affluent lifestyle where the only plan her parents have for her future is to marry well. She has much different dreams for her future, and they include playing a pivotal role in her family’s company. Her brother’s mismanagement has brough Holden Knight into their life and business as an investor.

Holden has an agenda both when it comes to Rowan’s family and their business. He is like a puzzle as piece by piece he becomes more appealing, and Rowan feels the same way. He thought he had it all planned out however Rowan is a surprise he didn’t see coming.

The characters are intriguing, the attraction between them is undeniable and their story has all the feels and it leaves us wondering what comes next for Rowan and Holden both as individuals and as a couple.

K. Bromberg asked readers to step into the gray with her on this one, and step into the gray I did...

Rowan and Holden took me down a problematic path of angst, steam, and tension abound, but it's a path I'd gladly walk again and again. K. Bromberg weaves a tale so engaging that you simply cannot put it down.

It's a good thing I've become a fan of cliffhangers or else I may have thrown my iPad at the ending. Wow! She left readers wanting more and I love it. Twisted Knight was an amazing start to this new trilogy and I can't wait to see what's in store for us next. I'm so intrigued to know how Rowan and Holden's story ends...

Wow! This was such a great read! I absolutely loved the writing style of K. Bromberg and I will absolutely have to check more of her books. The story encompasses everything I enjoy in a great read, a strong, know what she wants MFC and a MMC that can match that energy perfectly. Enemies to lovers and a secret romance along with drama and some spice, this has quickly become one of my favorites. This story is so different from other stories I have read and I could not put it down. I cannot wait to read more!

Kristy!!!! What did I just read and listen to. If you have read her before, y’all better buckle up. Twisted Knight is not like her recent books. This book is edgy, gritty, complex, full of intricacies, mysterious, with a slightly morally gray alpha. The plot twist that are thrown at you aren’t expected at all. I was definitely on a roller coaster ride with Holden and Rowan. The banter, verbal sparring, push, pull, tension, angst, sexual chemistry is just oozing off the pages. The innuendos, games, the way they got under each other’s skin, they are falling for each other but fighting it for different reasons. While these two had a past that connected them, only Holden knew that secret. He was back in the town that shunned him, and he was back for revenge. This aloof, broody, enigmatic, and intriguing soul was back to the place that brought him so much pain. My heart really broke for the young Holden. Chapter 31 OMG. 😭😭The story had flash backs from his past.
The air of aristocracy, entitlement from this town ran deep. Where only the men had a voice. Secrets, lies, deceptions, hidden truths, back handed deals, blackmail, greed, money and power ruled over everything and everyone.
Little did he know that one of the people and pawn on that list Rowan Rothschild was not who he thought she was. His previous misconceptions leave him in a bind when he has an instant attraction to this beautiful, sassy, and smart woman. She was his match. She read him so well, didn’t put up with his nonsense and called things like they were. A true enemies to lovers in the workplace vibe. She’s trying to save her legacy, family name, while her family is trying to bury it all. All while Holden is trying to bury the people who hurt him. And, just when you think these two have figured it out, BAM we get an emotional doozie of an ending with a cliff hanger. Wowzers, so good. I can’t wait to read and listen to the next book in the series.

The book was narrated by Patrick Zeller and Victoria Connelly and all I can say is wow. They brought it. The characterization changes and emotions emanating from them was just sheer perfection. Especially from Patrick, man chapter 31 gutted me and I cried. I never cry. Highly recommend a listen.

OH MY GOD. I cannot even… K. Bromberg, I didn’t know you would leave us hanging with a freaking cliffhanger this time! I was so no ready for that! But my mind (and my fingers) don’t even stop when I see a new book announcement from this woman. I instantly ask for the advanced copy, and I have to say Twisted Knight got me addicted so, so fast. If you love steamy, suspenseful, office romances, trust me when I tell you don’t want to miss this one. I am not sure I can wait much to see how this love story turns up!

So, Twisted Knight is the first installment in Kristy’s Tangled Hearts series, and it tells the story of Holden Knight, a new billionaire that is decided to take revenge on the family and the business that doesn’t remember what they did back in the day to him and his brother. Enter Rowan Rothschild, sister of the acting CEO, a woman that is fighting for her career and Holden’s major distraction. These two hate each other but behind that is a simmering chemistry that is starting to boil and it’s impossible to stop when they finally act on it. What will happen with Holden’s revenge? Will he do what he has planned all along? Or will his new feelings for Rowan stop him?

Talk about complicating fucking matters.
Talk about making the gray the darkest fucking shade it can be.

I mean, leaving aside my feelings about that cliffhanger (I am so not a fan of not knowing how something ends!), I thoroughly enjoyed reading Twisted Knight. It has all the elements I love about Kristy’s books and characters and I devoured the whole thing in less than a day. I loved reading how the hate Holden is supposed to have towards Rowan turns into an unstoppable force that brings this couple closer and closer. Their forbidden connection sparks every time they share the same space, and it burns like you wouldn’t believe when they finally act on it. Mix that with mystery, heartbreak, secrets, suspense and a whole lot of unexpected emotions and you get this rollercoaster of a baby.

There’s a contrast between us.
He’s dark while I’m light. He’s unreadable while my emotions are on my sleeve. He’s the bolt of lightning and I’m feeling blinded by its force.

Therefore, I am rating Twisted Knight with 4.5 STARS because this hate to love romance grabbed me from start to finish. I loved Holden and Rowan so much; their chemistry was pure fire and inextinguishable. Their connection is so intense and when they leave the past and current business situation aside, it’s so clear they are falling so hard for one another. And I NEED THE NEXT BOOK RIGHT NOW. I mean, after that ending, I am not sure how this one will turn out for these two, but I am sure K. Bromberg will give us another amazing installment and I hope a happy ending for this beautiful couple.

This was an amazing book from this author. This author never disappoints. Although that ending was cruel. Can't wait for the next book. This was an amazing story, compelling characters, the ending left me wanting more. 5 stars.

Holden is a force to be reckoned with, and is a calculation billionaire, who has a revenge agenda for his brother. Rowan is strong and determined, but has always been overshadowed by her brother, and she manages the family business, which he claims to run.
This is a well written easy to read story, with family, dynamics, secrets, vengeance, humor, witty banter, intrigue, palpable tension, romance, and undeniable chemistry, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This book is an intoxicating blend of high-stakes drama, sizzling chemistry, and unpredictable twists that kept me hooked from start to finish. The tension between Rowan and Holden is palpable, with their sharp banter and deep emotional connection adding layers of intensity to every scene. Did not know that this had a cliffhanger when I signed up and was very frustrated by that fact. Otherwise, this story pulls you in with the great characters and a tale full of angst and drama.

And I just threw my Kindle!....... What a place to stop a book. I pray we get more soon. Like tomorrow, if I'm honest. I cussed out Ms Bromberg like you wouldn't believe.

All that aside, this book is absolutely brilliant. The characters, the revenge, the plot. The whole lot of it. I don't want to mention anything at all. No names, scenarios, no nothing at all. I've never read a book by this author that's this messy, full of pain and heartbreak. And I've never wanted someone to win so much ever.

That's all I will say. I loved this book, I really recommend it and I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next book.
