I am really enjoying Holden and Rowen’s story.  This is book one in the Tangled Hearts series.  I love a good enemies to lovers and as usual K Bromberg is bringing her A game!!  I cannot wait until the next book as this does end in a cliffhanger….💙💜

Holden is the new majority owner for the company Rowans family used to control, and Rowan didn't know anything about the sale! So it's fair to say these two don't get off to the best start.... but the instant connection we see between them is great!!

We get a few chapters from 15 years ago from Holdens POV, which gives us snippets of why he's doing what he's doing.

I love this book and I'm so excited to see what happens next!

I keep getting near the end of the book thinking, how is this going to end in another few chapters, because I don't pay attention if they're standalones 🤣🤣🤣. What a cliffhanger!!! I love it!!!

Holden Knight is 32 and a self made multi millionaire. This story flashes back fifteen years about being poor and living on the wrong side of town. He's back in town to buy a family run company TinSpirts and get revenge on the ones that hurt his family. No one knows who he is and that he's from around there.

Rowan Rothschild is the face of TinSpirts and VP of marketing. This company is one her great-great grandfather started and she hopes to run it one day. The only reason she isn't running the company is because she's a woman. Her family thinks she should just marry Chad and be the society wife and give up her job. Her brother Rhett is at the helm, running the business into the ground and needs money so decides to sell the business without her knowledge, enter Holden.

Rowan and Holden butt heads and he wants to take her down but doesn't realize she's not who he thinks she is. She knows she can do a better job than her brother and just has to play the game one her grandmother set for her.

There's an attraction between Rowan and Holden but he has to stay focused to get what he wants as does she.

What he didn't account for was Rowan, who is not like her family, and she is a distraction. One he can't get enough of, and she decides to take a leap of faith and work with him, going against her brother and family. Will it be the right move, or will it come crashing down? Everyone is keeping secrets from each other. Who can Rowan trust? Of course, this ends in a cliffhanger, and now the wait to see what happens next. Good read!

Wow! What a read. I totally devoured this book. Rowan and Holden captured my heart from the very first page.

Rowan has lived in the shadow of her siblings. Always one to want more for herself, she’s fought for what she has. She doesn’t know that the mysterious, handsome stranger is about to turn her world upside down, in more ways than she can imagine.

Holden Knight is a self made billionaire. He is determined to get the revenge for a tragedy that happened when he was younger. What he doesn’t account for, is what Rowan brings out in him.

5 outstanding stars! I need book 2!!!! K Bromberg crushes this book. Bromberg’s writing style is unmatched. Seriously, I can’t wait for book 2!!! This is a must read!

My rating would probably be higher if I hadn’t found out on the last page that this book isn’t a standalone and I have to wait for the second part to see what happens between Holden and Rowan. Neither Goodreads nor Valentine PR, where I signed up for the ARC, mentioned this, so I don’t think it’s unfair for it to affect my rating, as I was expecting something totally different.

As for the book itself, I had mixed feelings. It didn’t grab my attention at first, and it even threw me into a reading slump for a few days. I felt terrible that I couldn’t make myself pick it up again. Once I forced myself, knowing I had a deadline, it hooked me so much that I read the remaining 80% in 24 hours.

I really enjoyed the writing style, which only makes me more eager to start the “Full Throttle” series. The emotional depth was great, and the flashback chapters were perfect, making me truly empathize with Holden and everything he had gone through.

However, what likely put me off at the beginning was Holden’s darkness — if I can call it that, the darker tone of the book. I’m still figuring out my limit when it comes to these kinds of romance stories. At first, I thought it would be too much, but now, after finishing the book, I can say it wasn’t; it was fine.

The conservatism and sexism of the setting drove me crazy at times, even to the point of frustration. I liked that Rowan fought for her place despite it all, but I didn’t like how she at the same time allowed her brother and mother to walk all over her.

The spicy scenes were written beautifully and intensified the chemistry between Rowan and Holden. But the ending killed my enjoyment. I expected resolution and a happy ending, but instead, Rowan changes her behavior over something that I’m 90% sure will have a more-than-logical explanation in the next book, and it’ll all end up being a result of miscommunication, which I hate.

Despite my love/hate relationship with this book, I can’t wait for the second part.

I was so excited when I heard we were getting a new series from Ms Bromberg and all I’m going to said is, Holden Knight and Rowan Rothschild’s journey was everything I expected and so much more. But this journey ends a cliffhanger so be prepared. Holden and Rowan are complete opposites, they come from opposite sides of the track and he wants and needs revenge from the Rothschild family ……… I was captivated from the first page to the last line as I became lost in a world of drama, revenge and passion. Twisted Knight is a great start to the new series, it’s well, written with wonderful characters and if this book is anything to go by Ms Bromberg will certainly have another hit series on her hands. Looking forward to what’s to come ……

Twisted Knight is book one in the Tangled Hearts series. Holden Knight comes back to town to buy a family business. A family who destroyed his life 15 years ago. Rowan Rothschild (the daughter of said family) is a smart, independent, strong woman who wants the family business.
The book lays out the ground work of revenge, battle of wills and the beginning a relationship. Bromberg’s writing is wonderfully written. The flashbacks of Holden’s past was woven perfectly with the present. The relationship between Holden & Rowan was a perfect enemies to lovers. While they were plotting against each other, they give in to the sexual tension and have a no strings relationship. Then the lines start to blur and Bromberg keeps you guessing on what will happen next. Of course Bromberg gives us a cliffhanger that had me screaming WTH!! I’m so excited for book two to see where Bromberg will be taking Holden & Rowan.
If you are looking for a revenge, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, this one you have to check out.

Wow! This is my first book by K. Bromberg and I loved it! Rowan is not your typical country club woman. She is bounded, determined to break the mold and do her own thing which includes running her families company. Holden has a rags to riches story and it’s fantastic. However, he also has some dark secrets and some revenge to seek out. I love everything about this book and cannot wait for the second one to come out because it definitely ends on a cliffhanger. Counting the minutes to the second book comes out.

i’m going to throw my kindle at the wall. this is not a series of interconnected standalones like i was expecting it to be. so that ending?? it’s got me screaming.

the only problems i like are rich people problems and that’s kind of what this book is. it’s not exactly rich people problems from <i>dynasty</i> but rich people problems nonetheless. tinspirits is sinking because of rhett rothschild’s inability to run a business and manage money so holden knight swoops in to save the day…right? unless…he’s got some ulterior motive 👀

holden has a tragic backstory and i liked learning why he was so hellbent on revenge from his pov as a child. rowan has never wanted to fit in to the westmore expectations of women so she constantly tries to break out of that mold and has only recently challenged her male peers. despite the cliffhanger, i’m excited to see how they continue to work together in order to bring tinspirits back.

holden and rowan match each other in the best ways possible. they’re angsty and i love it.

One caveat to getting the money out of the trust is that she can get it early by marrying. Chad has been her eager groom-to-be all these years. Will she take the bait so she can get her hooks into the trust fund?

As for Rowan and Holden, their cat-and-mouse game starts as a chase at first, but soon they are tempting each other. The desire and passion between them are hot and they can’t get enough of each other. Yet, as much as they want each other, they fear the uncontrollable feelings that course through them. It can’t be more than lust because neither are looking for a commitment. Holden is on a mission, and if Rowan finds out, she might hate him. Will he do something to betray her?

At this point, I have to say that TWISTED KNIGHT ends on a cliffhanger and I didn’t realize this until I reached the end. Apparently, this is a serial series, and I am not sure when the next book will come out. So, to say this tale ends on a happy note…well. You just have to figure out if there is a chance for Holden and Rowan to find happiness together.

This book was so good but warning this is not a standalone. Lol the cliffhanger almost cost me a tablet. As always I love K’s writing and she had me hooked so now I need more. Rowan is smart and tough for all she’s been through & Holden well he’s disruptive in her world. The tension & banter is 🔥. I can’t wait for book 2.

okay after so long I have read a book where the actual feeling of hate, animosity and revenge was there. Not to forget it was a billionaire romance and his income and money in the bank had made me gone blank for few seconds.

I absolutely devoured the book and oh my god the tension was too much to read.

Only one fact was a bummer for me and that was that it was not informed or put in knowledge of the reader that the book ends in a cliffhanger because of which the ending left a sour taste!!!

This is beyond a phenomenal read!

There were so many different layers to Twisted Knight. There were so many twists and revelations in this book. You couldn’t tell who was a player or who was being played. Dark truths come to light and just when you think you are seeing a bright spot in this story, you get hit with a whammy of a twist.

Revenge is the name of the game when Holden Knight makes his presence known at the Westmore Country Club. Everyone is curious about the newcomer, but Holden already knows all about them: and he’s ready to destroy some of them the way he was destroyed years ago.

Rowan Rothschild, tired of being told to sit pretty and let the men handle the business, wants to take charge in the family business. She may be the face, but she wants to make the decisions. She thinks she can do that until the stranger she talked to at the auction at the country club turns things on its head by taking over the very company she wants to run.

Holden and Rowan go from enemies to passionate secret lovers, but are they playing a game to get the upper hand?

K. Bromberg is a “Must Read” author. I’ve read several of her books and she doesn’t solely focus on the spice. She weaves relatable characters and relatable situations. I would recommend any book: I’ve read of hers.

Twisted Knight is the first novel in the new Tangled Hearts series by K. Bromberg and the title of the series is absolutely spot on for the story. This story captures you right from the beginning, and from there, all you can do is buckle up for the roller coaster of emotions it takes you through!

Holden is a complicated character. He has a rough exterior but a softer side with certain folks. I absolutely loved the development between him and Rowan.

Rowan is off limits. She's from one of the wealthiest families in town, and they behave like they own the town. As we get to know Rowan, we slowly find out she's not at all like the rest of her family.

I am shocked by the ending and dying for the next novel in the series! Holden and Rowan might be my favorite book couple lately, and I want more!!

A game of cat and mouse with the winner taking all. Holden is after revenge and Rowan is just collateral damage. Never did he think he would fall for Rowan as he thought her to be the stuck-up rich girl but she proves him wrong. The sexual tension between them is off the charts. Of course this book ends on a cliffhanger and your like WTF. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens.

Oh my goodness! This book is so good. Everything I was hoping it would be.

Rowan is part of the wealthy Rothschild family and the face of the company, TinSpirits. She is not deemed worthy by her family to be a part of the company and was given the title of Vice President of Marketing to placate her.

Holden Knight has a plan to buyout TinSpirits and in turn, get his revenge for something that happened to him in his past. He was not expecting Rowan and the attraction he feels toward her, though. She’s not part of his plan. They do get close as Rowan is his match in every way—including the bedroom and the office. She is one strong woman. There are just enough spicy scenes between them that it doesn’t overtake the plot. I was all in for the plot!

I just can’t believe it’s a cliffhanger ending!

I listened to the advanced listener copy as well as read an advanced reader copy. The narrators, Patrick Zeller and Victoria Connolly, were both new to me and were both wonderful. I thought the male narrator scenes from fifteen years ago were especially moving.

Right from the start, Holden is a “delicious” mystery. I am hooked and want to know what happened to him in the past leading to his current revenge plan. I also like Rowan for being the smart, strong woman that she is – trying her best to protect her family’s legacy.

Unfortunately for Rowan, she is collateral damage in his big plan to destroy the Rothschild family. Despite Holden’s role in taking over the family business, TinSpirits, she soon realises that he is the only one who doesn’t discount her off and sees her true potential at work.

The more time that they spend together, the more we readers learn about both Rowan and Holden and I just loved the depth of these two characters. So well written with real complexity. I can easily imagine them being real people in this grey world which we live in.

And Omg, I totally hate Rhett. He is so self-entitled and I dislike how he belittles Rowan. Her parents are not much better with the way they disregard her and treat her as a supporting character in their lives.

I like my cinnamon roll heroes but Holden is a grey knight which is hard to resist.

Ps. This is the first book in the series and ends with a cliffhanger.
