When I first saw this book's cover, I thought it would be a light summer children's book.. I couldn't have been more wrong. While there might be thematic material that might be slightly more suitable for older reading groups, this story provided such a fantastical, magical adventure that transported me to a different word!
Also, I have a soft spot for Norwegian stories and that was another plus! ❤
